§ Audio in Games hat vielfältige Wirkungen (1) Emotionen hervorrufen, (2) die Orientierung in der Welt und das Verstehen der Story erleichtern, (3) Eintauchen in die Spielwelt ermöglichen
§ Obwohl Komponisten dabei aufwändigste Techniken verwenden und eine formal eigene Kunstform geschaffen haben, wird Game-Music vor allem als funktionales Element wahrgenommen
