Die Faszination des alten Mythos von Heldenmut, Standhaftigkeit und Ritterlichkeit schuf ein Leucht- objekt von außer- gewöhnlich klarer Ästhetik. / This light, in the form of a stylised crown, is inspired by the legend of King Arthur. The fascinating, ancient myth of steadfastness and knightly gallantry has led to the creation of a light fixture of extraordinary aesthetic appeal. Einfach und spielerisch, kippen, drehen, verschieben ... so ist Flip-Led, ein Leuchtstab, der sich durch Magnete auf einer Scheibe in jede Richtung lenken läßt. Licht, das Lust auf Veränderung macht - einmal so, einmal anders. / Tilt, turn and adjust simply and playfully: that’s the “Flip-Led”, a light stick on a disc which can be turned in any direction through magnets. Light which brings a strong desire for change from one day to the next. Erhaben ruht der Leuchtkörper auf einem filigranen, leichtangeschrägten Bein. Anmutig und verletzlich wirkend. Jedoch - wie jener elegante und exotische Vogel gleichen Namens- immer völlig ausbalanciert und souverän.
/ Lordly rests the lampshade on a filigree,slightly tilted leg. Looks attractive and vulnerable - but, like the elegant, exotic and eponymous bird, always well poised and sovereign.

VICE VERSA bedeutet übersetzt soviel wie “umgekehrt” oder “anders-herum”. Verlässt man einen eingeschlagenen Weg, wenn man nicht weiter kommt? Ja, um so zur Erleuchtung und zu einem runden Ganzen zu gelangen. Genau wie bei dieser ungewöhnlichen Leuchte.
/ VICE VERSA means just that, upside down or topsy-turvy. Treading on un-beaten tracks, when one is not getting any further –thus inching towards clarity and a well-rounded whole. Exactly as in the case of this extraordinary lamp.
