Matthias Weber graduated 2000 at the University of Darm-stadt as an Electrical Engineer. He worked there as Research Associate taking care of industrial projects in Optimized Engine Con-trol, model based control algorithms, mode-ling and Hardware in the Loop simulation of diesel engines, calibration methodology and fast measurement strategies for combustion engines. From 2005 to 2006 he continued his
work at AVL List GmbH Graz, industrializing fast measurement and calibration methodologies for combustion engines. In 2006 he joined Continental Engineering Services GmbH as a Senior Mana-ger in charge of all activities regarding advanced powertrain and diagnostic engineering with customers located in Europe, North America and India.

Marcel Romijn
is Competences Coordinator & OBD Specia-list at Brace Automotive Marcel Romijn holds a Bachelor degree in Automotive Engineering from the HTSAutotechniek, Arnhem, the Netherlands. He wrote his thesis on the fault code structure of EOBD. Before his Bachelor study Marcel Romijn worked as a Diagnostic Technician in a car workshop. After gradua-tion he was contracted to a Heavy-Duty OEM,
working on projects for US and EU Diesel OBD and SCR induce-ments. After four years at the OEM Marcel Romijn was contracted for one year as an On-site Consultant to a Tier I for a light-duty US diesel OBD project.
Seminar language is English. Discussion and questions also possible in German.
