OVERVIEWNCB Nation Builder AwardsEntrepreneurs Building Communities…Building Jamaica
The NCB Nation Builder Awards (NBA) is an NCB-led initiative to recognize and celebrate small and medium enterprise (SME) customers. The NBA programme seeks to highlight outstanding entrepreneurial performance, sound business practices and the SME’s contribution to community development.
This is the tenth (10th) year of the Awards programme, which has three (3) categories open to applicants.
The Nation Builder Award will go to the most outstanding entrepreneurial performance by an established
business, an NCB customer that has demonstrated a clear and significant contribution to community
development. In addition to rewarding the efforts of established businesses, the programme features the
Innovation Award and the Young Entrepreneur Award. The Innovation Award salutes a business which has
used creativity, including but not limited to technology, to introduce a new product, tap into a new market
and/ or gain competitive advantage. The Young Entrepreneur award recognizes a business that has been
in operation for up to three (3) years with commendable business performance, strong community impact
and whose principal is 35 years old or under.
