Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

Wir freuen uns, Sie in der vorweihnachtlichen Zeit zu einer hochkarätigen und besonders praxisrelevanten Endodontie-Fortbildung nach Wien einzu-laden. Bei dieser Veranstaltung werden unter anderem auch interdiszipli-näre, für unsere tägliche klinische Tätigkeit wichtige Fragestellungen dis-kutiert.

Donnerstag am Nachmittag: Junge Wissenschafter aus der ganzen Welt präsentieren ihre Forschungsergebnisse.

Freitag am Vormittag: „Endo-Circle Training“, ein spannender Workshop, in dem maximal 80 Teilnehmer von einer Station zur anderen wandern und verschiedene endodontische Instrumente und Aufbereitungstechniken direkt miteinander vergleichen können.

Freitag am Vormittag: Parallel dazu findet ein Seminar über Bio-Keramiken in der Endodontie mit Martin Trope statt.

Freitag am Nachmittag: Verschiedene Vorträge zum Thema „Wurzelbe-handelte Zähne aus prothetischer, kieferorthopädischer, komplementär- medizinischer und parodontologischer Sicht.

Samstag: Das Team der University of Pennsylvania, mit weltweit berühm-ten Experten, wie etwa Syngcuk Kim, Martin Trope, Gilberto Debelian und anderen, werden ihr praxisorientiertes Konzept konservativer und chirurgi-scher Endodontie präsentieren.

Samstag am Nachmittag: Wurzelspitzenresektion als Live-Operation in faszinierender 3D-Übertragungstechnik mit Prof. Kim aus Philadelphia.

Die Vorträge werden in englischer Sprache mit deutscher Simultanüberset-zung gehalten. Der Kongress findet in dem wunderschönen Palais Ferstel mitten in der Wiener Innenstadt von 4. – 6. Dezember 2014 statt. Lassen Sie sich diese besondere Gelegenheit nicht entgehen!

Thursday, December 4, 2014, 14:00 – 17:30 (BGZMK Wien)YOUNG SCIENTIST PRESENTATIONS – RESEARCH IN ENDODONTOLOGYA total of 12 research abstracts will be selected from the scientific com-mittee to give 15 min oral presentations at the Bernhard Gottlieb Universi-ty Clinic of Dentistry. The best performances will be awarded with € 5000, € 3000 and € 1000, respectively. Additionally, three poster prices valued at € 3000, € 2000 and €1000 will be granted to the most significant research studies. Young scientists are encouraged to submit their research. Nominees must be no older than 35 years by December, 31 of 2014.The scientific committee will consist of Prof Claus-Walter Löst, Prof Andreas Moritz, Prof Kurt Ebeleseder, Prof Syngcuk Kim and Dr Karl Schwaninger. They have a high ph when unset, are extremely biocompatible when set and appear to seal extremely well. MTA represents the first gene-ration bioceramic material on the market.Extensive research and clinical experience have shown its superb proper-ties for many applications. However it is quite difficult to handle and has the potential to discolor teeth. Recently, new bioceramic materials have en-tered the market with fewer disadvantages. You will see and learn how to incise and reflect, make an osteoto-my, remove granulomatous tissue, perform the apicoectomy, the root-end-preparation and root-endfilling, and suturing. The use of various microsurgical instruments will be demonstrated.Participants will observe the microsurgery in the auditorium in real time and threedi-mensional screening mode enhancing the illusion of depth perception.
