photo designinstructor: Brother Kerrcourse: Visual Mediadate:10/18/2015
programs used: PhotoShop
objectives: To create a simple gum Adusing photoshop
process: The first processes wasimporting the image and then adding twoblue bars to the top and bottom of thead. I used the color replacement to turn
the entire image blue. I then used theclone tool to create two more gumpackets. I then went in and used a paintbrush to add in two shades of blue tothe upper and lower bars to bring theaudiences attention to the image. I thenchecked adobe type kit to find a font
similar to the extra gum font. After thefonts where put in I put a slant on themto match the gum packet. To finish theproject I added a small box and includedthe word blue to show what colors wereused in this project.

Websiteinstructor: Brother Kerrcourse: Visual Mediadate: 11/21/2015
programs used: Notepad++
objectives: To create website for a gamerfriendly logo
process: I started out with a basic htmlset up and created the text for the entirepage. I then decided to go for a straightforward center lined webpage. I then de-
cided that a black background would bebest so it can match the logo colors ofblack and green. I used a site tocreate the qr code and used a css page tochange the coloring of all of the text atthe same time.

Event Adinstructor: Brother Kerrcourse: Visual Mediadate:10/11/2015
programs used: Photoshop
objectives: To create an Event Ad forsaving lion cubs
process: I started out by blowing up theimage to the size of the background. Ithen changed the lighting of the imageso it wouldn’t be too dark. I then
created the logo be finding an image andlay text over it. The title was then chosenand lined up with the lower text whichdescribes what the charity is for. The textwas too light and blended into thebackground. My solution was to add alittle bit of outlining to make it more
visible and to help establish hierarchy.

objectives: To create a logo for a gamingsite.
process: I started off with a font that Ireally liked. Since this is a gamingchannel I wanted a game feel, such aspacman so I created an outline of the
first “c” so I could distort it and make itbigger. I then added one circle to makethe eye and an oval for a pupil. Iadded a square to the back of the logoand brought in the corners to smooth itout. I then decided on my colors and applied them.

Brochureinstructor: Brother Kerrcourse: Visual Mediadate:12/5/2015
programs used: InDesign,Illustrator,photoshop
objectives: To create a brochure for acompany about technical advances in VR.
process: I first started with the logowhich I wanted to be a simple robotwhich is the direction this company
wants to go. I created this logo inillustrator by outlining a photo of asimple robot. I then found images thatthat fit the brochure. I had to change thethe lighting on a couple of them withphoto shop. I completely cropped out therobot on the inside so the text can wrap
around it. I then tried several differentbackgrounds until I found this one. Itworks because it helps establish amysterious dark which this company istrying to go through. To finish it up Iadded the text and changed thekerning so that no words were cut
off or left alone.
