Vorwort
Im Bereich „Using your English“ findest du viele abwechslungsreiche Auf-gaben zum Schreiben.

Beispiel: She is going to visit Los Angeles in September.
Beispiel: I’m going to be sick!
Beispiel: You will need your passport or ID card.
• Vermutungen. Signalwörter sind: maybe, perhaps, probably, (to) expect, (to) hope,
(to) be sure und (to) think.
Beispiel: I hope we will fly on a big plane.
• spontane Entscheidungen/Entschlüsse
Beispiel: Ian: “Your bag is too heavy. I’ll help you carry it.”
B. in the morning, at 3 o’clock.
Beispiel: The plane leaves at 8 o’clock tonight.
Beispiel: She is leaving her house at 4 o’clock.

Topic 7: Bike or boat?
Richmond High School is about 35 minutes from the centre of London by
train. The 23 students in Mr Robson’s year 10 class want to do something spe-
cial together for a week after their exams at the end of June but before their
summer holidays start in August. After many weeks looking for good ideas,
they have decided to either hire narrow boats or do something much faster
and more exciting – a mountain bike tour. They have found two teachers to go
with them already.
