Most masculine nouns ending in –el, -en or –er do not change in the plural.
Examples:Der EnkelDer FehlerDas FensterDer GürtelDer HelferDer JägerDas KabelDer Kuchen
Also: der Käse!
der Schlüssel

das Kissen
Kissen
das Messer
Messer
All neuter nouns ending in –chen or –lein also do not change in the plural.
