Particularly in this domain, products often contain chemical substances that must be prevented from inadvertently escaping into the environment. For challenging products

Non-food products – whether wet or dry – are often hygroscopic, intensely odourous or aggressive. Products like cleaning agents, cement, laundry detergents or fertilizers call for stringent safety standards and must therefore be packaged in heavy-duty multi-ply laminates. Our pouches with aluminium barrier layers rank among the truly reliable packaging solutions for chemical products; apart from their mechanical durability, they are characterized by particularly high imper-meability to oxygen and water vapour as well as by excellent opacity.

Apart from the safety aspect, we also place great emphasis on enduser-friendliness. Stand-up pouches with handle cutouts as well as spout systems or convenient ziplock closures provide added convenience for the

user of the packaging and its content. Thanks to our decades of experience, ongoing re-search, and spirit of innovation, we can solve virtually any packaging problem encountered by our customers.

Every day, the specialists in our development department are at work to find new and bet-ter packaging solutions precisely tailored to the packaging content and consumer expec-tations. To assure that our solutions interact seamlessly with all processes to which they are exposed, we tailor them to the product and to the stress profile, for instance on the customer’s filling and/or pouch sealing line.

We accompany each new packaging solution until it is integrated in our customers’ pro-duction environments and thoroughly test the usually complex composites on their ma-chines. It is on the machine that application technology factors such as sliding properties or sealability are crucial.

Quality assuranceOur laboratories regularly test new materials to determine their suitability for our compos-ites and conversion products.
