Since 10 years the brand name SEGULA has stood for innovation, premium quality and timeless aesthetics. These

fundamentals have also defined the development goals of our exclusive range of light sources.

For most people the classical incandescent light bulb is the epitome of superior artificial light. With its even light

spectrum, the warm light colour and the faithful reproduction of all colours it comes very close to the evening

mood in natural sunlight. With SEGULA lamps we give people back the pleasant, warm light of the incandescent

bulb. They offer outstanding colour reproduction, excellent quality and a decorative look – with energy-saving,

LED FILAMENT TECHNOLOGIE

Bereits 2009 präsentierte SEGULA eine Revolution: Die erste LED-Lampe in der Bauform einer Original-Glühlam-

pe. Ohne Abstriche an Optik und Abstrahlcharakteristik wurde damit erstmals ein 1:1-Ersatz von Glühlampen

durch energiesparenden und langlebige LED-Technik möglich. Das Herstellungsverfahren unserer LED-Retro-

fit-Lampen auf Produktionsanlagen für traditionelle Glühlampen ist international patentiert.

Die Entwicklung der „Chip on Cord“-Technologie (COC), ermöglichte 2014 die Herstellung von lichtstarken

Lampen mit filigranen LED-Filamenten, die traditionellen Glühfäden gleichen. 2016 wartete SEGULA erneut

als erster Anbieter mit einer bahnbrechenden Innovation auf: Der „Curved-Line“ mit flexiblen LED-Filamenten,

die historischen Carbon-Glühfäden zum Verwechseln ähnlich sehen. 2017 ermöglichte die flexible „Filament

Plus“-Technologie mit integrierten Kühlkörpern nicht nur höhere Lichtstärken, sondern auch ein völlig neues

Designkonzept ganz ohne umhüllenden Glaskolben – die „Art-Line“ war geboren!

Für unsere Strahler, Spots und Miniatur-Lampen mit Stecksockel setzen wir miniaturisierte LED-Chips in kompak-

ter „Chip on Board“-Anordnung (COB) ein und erzielen damit eine Halogenlampen zum Verwechseln ähnliche

Optik und Abstrahlcharakteristik.

LED FILAMENT TECHNOLOGY

Already in 2009 SEGULA presented a revolution: The first LED lamp in the shape of an original incandescent bulb.

For the first time the replacement of incandescent bulbs by energy-saving and durable LED technology became

possible without any sacrifice regarding design and the characteristics of light distribution. The special produc-

tion process of SEGULA retrofit LED-lamps on production lines for traditional bulbs is patented internationally.

The development of the „Chip on Cord“-technology (COC) in 2014 permitted the assembly of bright LED-lamps

with filigree LED Filaments, that look alike tungsten filaments. In 2016, again SEGULA as the first supplier came

up with a groundbreaking innovation: The „Curved Line“ with flexible led filaments that bear a striking resem-

blance to historical carbon filaments. 2017, the flexible „Filament Plus“ technology with integrated heatsinks

enabled not only a higher luminous output, but also a completely new design concept without enclosing glass

sphere – the „Art-Line“ was born!

For our spotlights and mini-lamps with plug-in socket we are using miniaturized LED chips in a compact „chip

on board“ arrangement (COB) and thus achieve confusingly similar optics and light distribution compared to

halogen lamps.

SEGULA Lampen bestechen durch ihre außergewöhnliche Lichtqualität und originalgetreue Lichtfar-

ben. Sie imitieren perfekt das sanfte Licht historischer Kohlenfadenlampen und zaubern ein Ambien-

te ähnlich natürlichem Kerzenlicht oder entsprechen genau dem warmen Licht klassischer Glühlam-

pen und eignen sich damit ideal für den gesamten Wohnbereich.

Für gewerbliche Anwendungen liefern wir extra lichtstarke Lampen in der Lichtfarbe tageslichtweiß.

Der besonders hohe Farbwiedergabe-Index (CRI) von bis zu 95 und das äußerst gleichmäßige Spek-

trum sorgen für die unverfälschte Wiedergabe auch feinster Farbnuancen.

EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE IN QUALITY

SEGULA bulbs stand out due to their exceptional quality of light and their true to original luminous

colours. They perfectly mimic the soft light of historical carbon filament lamps and create an ambien-

ce similar to natural candlelight or correspond exactly to the warm light of the classic light bulb and

fit ideally for the entire living area.

For commercial applications we supply high-brightness lamps in light colour daylight white. The par-

ticularly high color rendering index (CRI) of up to 95 and the exceedingly even light spectrum provide

for the faithful reproduction of even the finest colour-nuances.

STUFENLOS SANFTES DIMMVERHALTEN

Unser besonderes Schaltungskonzept ermöglicht die stufenlose Dimmbarkeit von SEGULA Lampen

über das gesamte Helligkeits-Spektrum – mit einer Vielzahl handelsüblicher Dimmer. Ein weiterer

Vorteil ist die geringe Flimmerneigung auch im gedimmten Zustand, so werden „Stroboskop-Effek-

te“ sicher vermieden.

Die Lampen der „Ambient Line“ verändern darüber hinaus beim Dimmen ihre Lichtfarbe und strah-

len bei abnehmender Lichtstärke kontinuierlich wärmer und rötlicher – ganz wie der Wendel einer

traditionellen Glühlampe.

INFINITELY SOFT DIMMINGOur special circuit concept allows the continuous dimming of SEGULA lamps over the entire spec-

trum of brightness – with a great variety of dimming manufactures. A further advantage is the low

flicker rate also in dimmed state, so „stroboscope effects“ can certainly be avoided.

The lamps of the „Ambient Line“ in addition change the colour temperature while being dimmed

and continuously appear warmer and more reddish with decreasing light intensity – just like the

filament of a traditional light bulb.

With the brand new lamps of the „Curved Line“ range SEGULA introduces another

innovation: The flexible LED filaments look deceptively similar to glow wires and with

their warm, glare-free illumination they are ideally suited for decorative lighting pur-

poses.

The subtly tinted glass of „Smokey Line“ provides very special, soft lighting effects!

With their unique look these lamps impress even when switched off – and when

switched on enchant with an incomparably warm light atmosphere. All lamps of the

SEGULA Design line are fully dimmable, come with warm colour temperature, the

particularly high colour rendering index (CRI) up to 95 and a power factor of >0.85.

The Vintage Line from day one was a bestseller – it combines the traditional look and

feel as well as the incomparable lighting atmosphere of historical tungsten-filament

lamps and of classic incandescent lamps with highly efficient, fully dimmable high-

end LED technology. The colour temperature of 2200 Kelvin conjures an atmosphere

similar to natural candlelight, our lamps with 2600 Kelvin are perfectly suitable for the

entire living area. The particularly high colour rendering index (CRI) of >90 and the

exceedingly even light spectrum provide for the faithful reproduction of even the finest

The brand new lamps with „Ambient Dimming“ technology come as close as ever to

the traditional incandescent bulb regarding colour temperature.

Using a unique technology these LED lamps change the colour temperature while

being dimmed. The decreasing light intensity continuously appears warmer – and

more reddish – just like the filament of a traditional light bulb.

The „Ambient Dimming“ s with a variety of shapes and designs showcase our full ex-

perience and expertise in manufacturing dimmable LED filament lamps. Mirrorhead-,

reflector-lamps and spots complete the range. All of them create a perfectly matching

lighting atmosphere for any desired mood; from the beginning of twilight until deep

in the night.

Our bluetooth-enabled phase-dimmer is suitable for the operation of incandescent lamps,

dimmable LED lamps and dimmable LED control gear. Thanks to its minimal dimensions

installation options can be found behind wall switches, in luminaires or ceilings. Depending

on the type of load the dimmer can control up to 150 watts. The SEGULA bluetooth dimmer

can be controlled with a free app available for iOS and Android devices as well as with

Textilkabel

Für individuelle Projekte liefern wir hochwertige, textilumflochtene Leitungen in ver-

schiedensten Farben – jeweils in zwei Ausführungen. Wählen Sie zwischen der Ausfüh-

rung PVC und der hochflexiblen Ausführung SILIKON (Isolation und innerer Mantel aus

SILIKON, komplett PVC-frei). Die Kabel in SILIKON Ausführung sind deutlich flexibler und

hängen ohne Ausrichten und auch bei geringen Gewichten sofort gerade.

Alle Kabel sind in der EU hergestellt, haben Leitungsquerschnitte von 0,75 mm², sind

3adrig und zeichnen sich durch Baumwoll-Anteile in der Ummantelung aus. Die Min-

destabnahme beträgt 100m.

Textile Cable

For individual projects we supply high-quality textile braided cables in various colours

– each in two different versions. Choose between PVC and a highly flexible SILICONE

version (with PVC insulation and SILICONE inner sheath). Cables in SILICONE version

are significantly more flexible and without aligning will hang straight even with low

weights.

All our cables are made in EU, have a wire cross-section of 0.75 mm² and are distinguis-

hed by a share of natural cotton in the braid. The minimum purchase is 100m.
