Wir beglckwnschen Sie zu Ihrem neuen Luftge-wehr aus dem Hause DIANA.

Das Modell 54 ist ein starkes und przises rck-stofreies Weitschuluftgewehr mit Starrlauf undseitlichem Spannhebel. Die Aufhebung des Rck-stoes wurde erreicht durch ein neuartiges Rck-lauf-Bremssystem. Das Gewehrsystem bewegtsich bei Schuabgabe ca. 15 mm rckwrts.

Achtung: Dieses Luftgewehr ist kein Spielzeug.Missbrauch oder Unachtsamkeit knnen ernsteVerletzungen hervorrufen.

Lesen Sie bitte alle Vorschriften und Hinweise indieser Gebrauchsanweisung, bevor Sie das Luft-gewehr bentzen: Achten Sie bitte darauf, dassSie mit diesem Gewehr nie fahrlssig umgehenund halten Sie sich an die gesetzlichen Bestim-mungen.

Bei Verwendung eines Zielfernrohres mu unbe-dingt der Sicherheitsabstand zwischen Zielfernrohrund Auge eingehalten werden. Verwenden Siehauptschlich Zielfernrohre mit einer Gummikappe.

Das Spannen und Laden

erfolgt durch ffnen und Durchziehen des seitlichgelagerten Spannhebels bis zum Anschlag (Bild A).Dabei wird der Luftzylinder zurckgefhrt und gibtLademulde und Kugeleintritt frei. Gleichzeitig wirddas Gewehrsystem in die vordere Ausgangslagegeschoben.

Whrend des Spannvorganges ist der Hebel gegenRckschlag gesichert. Nach Erreichen des rck-wrtigen Anschlages rastet der Abzug ein und wirdautomatisch gesichert. Das Gescho kann nunleicht und pasicher in den Lauf eingefhrt werden.Durch Niederdrcken des Sperrhebels auf der linkenSeite der Lademulde (Bild B) lt sich der Spann-hebel in seine Ausgangsstellung zurckfhren.

Die Abzugsvorrichtung

Modell 54 ist serienmig mit einem Druckpunkt-abzug ausgerstet. Der Vorweg sowie der Druck-punkt sind bereits vom Werk einreguliert. Der Vor-weg wird mit der Schraube (1) (Bild C) reguliert:

>> Rechtsdrehung = krzerer Vorweg>> Linksdrehung = lngerer Vorweg

Der Druckpunkt ist ganz ausgeschaltet, wenn dieSchraube (1) zu weit nach links gedreht wird.

Visierung

Das Modell 54 ist mit einem nach Hhe und Seiteverstellbaren Mikrometervisier und einem hhen-verstellbaren Korn ausgestattet. Die Hheneinstel-lung am Visier erfolgt mittels der Hhenschraube(1) (Bild D). Die darauf befindlichen Zahlen 09sind Merkhilfen und keine Entfernungsangaben.Die Seitenkorrekturen sind mit der seitlich am Visierschieber (2) (Bild D) befestigten Visier-Sei-tenschraube (3) auszufhren.

Fr die Einstellung gilt die Regel:>> bei Rechts- oder Hochschu = Schraube

Das Visier besitzt eine Kimmenscheibe (1) (Bild E)mit zwei verschiedenen Kimmenformen. ZumWechseln auf die gewnschte Kimmenform lsenSie den seitlich am Visierschieber befindlichen Gewindestift, entnehmen die Kimmenscheibe, dre-hen diese um 180 und fhren die Kimmenschei-be in den Visierschieber wieder ein. Nun knnenSie, zum Sichern der Kimmenscheibe, den Gewin-destift wieder eindrehen. Zum Verstellen des Korns(1) (Bild F), lsen Sie den Gewindestift (2) undverschieben das Korn auf dem Kornhalter (3) ineine hhere oder niedrigere Position. Danach zie-hen Sie den Gewindestift fest.

Abzugssicherung

Da die Waffe automatisch sichert, ist vor der Schu-abgabe der am hinteren Ende des Zylinders be-findliche Sicherungsschieber (Bild G) in RichtungLaufmndung zu drcken.

Achtung:Whrend des Spannvorganges darf derSicherungsschieber nicht blockiert werden!

Allgemeine Hinweise fr Behandlung und Pflege

Die Pflege ist denkbar einfach, da die Funktions-teile, wie Kolben und Feder, vllig wartungsfrei sind.Zu achten ist auf stets einwandfreie Abdichtungzwischen Zylinder und Lauf. Wenn die am Schiebe-zylinder angebrachte Dichtung beschdigt wordenist, mu sie durch eine neue in der gleichen Strkeersetzt werden. Ein Durchziehen des Laufes sollte

nur dann erfolgen, wenn die Waffe lngere Zeit nichtbenutzt wird. Vermeiden Sie dabei Drahtbrsten,sondern verwenden Sie nur weiches Material. An-sonsten ist ein Reinigen des Laufinnern nicht erfor-derlich, denn bei Verwendung qualitativ einwand-freier Geschosse bilden sich keine Rckstnde. ZurErhaltung der Gleitfhigkeit der von auen zugng-lichen, beweglichen Teile gengt von Zeit zu Zeit einleichtes len, wozu unter allen Umstnden harz-und surefreies l zu benutzen ist. Zur Erhaltungdes Oberflchenschutzes ist es unerllich, die Me-tallteile nach jedem Gebrauch von Feuchtigkeits-rckstnden zu befreien und sie mit einem Waffen-l zu schtzen.

Das Gewehr darf nicht leer, also ohne Kugel imLauf, abgeschossen werden. Ferner darf es nicht ingespanntem Zustand beiseite gestellt werden, weildie Feder dadurch erlahmt.

Operating Instructions

Congratulations on the purchase of your new airrifle made by DIANA.

Mod. 54 is a strong and precise recoilless high po-wer air rifle with fixed barrel and side lever cocking.The elimination of the recoil has been reachedthrough a novel retrograde brake-mechanism.

When firing the mechanism is moving 15 mmbackward.

Caution: Not a Toy. Misuse or careless use maycause serious injury.

Read all instructions before using. Buyer anduser have the duty to obey all laws regarding theuse and ownership of this airgun. When using ascope use extreme caution. Action moves rear-ward approximately 3/4. Do not place your eyeagainst scope. Allow for rearward movement.

Cocking and Loading

Pull the side lever back to the stop (picture A).This action will cock the gun and open the breech.During the cocking process the side lever is secu-red against back stroke. At the same time the sys-tem is pushed into the front position. The triggerand the safety engage automatically when theside lever has been moved to the most rearwardposition. Load the pellet into the breech. Beforebringing back the side lever to its original positionrelease the cocking safety lever (picture B) on theleft side of the cylinder.

Trigger device

Model 54 is equipped with an adjustable twostage trigger as standard. Both the trigger traveland the pull-off point are already factory adjusted.

The length of first stage travel can be adjustedwith screw (1) (picture C):

>> turn clockwise = shorter first stage>> turn counterclockwise = longer first stage

Turning the adjustment screw (1) too far to theleft will cause the second stage to be eliminated,resulting in the shooter not being able to feelfiring point.

Sight adjustment

Model 54 is equipped with a micrometer rearsight,with vertical and horizontal adjustment at the rearand with a front sight also adjustable in height.

The settings for elevation are marked by the num-bers 09 on the elevation adjustment screw (1)(picture D).

Note: the numbers 09 are reference numbersonly and are not calibrated to distances.

>> Windage settings are marked on the slidingscale on the rearsight rail and are controlledby turning the screw on the side. If the rifleshoots high or to the right: adjust clockwise.If the rifle shoots low or to the left: adjustcounterclockwise (1+2) (picture D).

Warranty

This air rifle is guaranteed up to 2 years. Excludedare such damages as may occur through improperhandling or as a result of normal wear and tear.Guarantee obligation becomes invalid if the rifle isdismantled.

>> The micrometer rear sight is equipped with anotch plate (1) (picture E) with two differentshapes. You can change the notch by pushingback on the round stem and rotating thenotch plate.

The front sight (1) (picture F) can be adjustedby loosening the screw (2). Moving the bladeforward will lower the point of impact,moving it rearward will raise the point ofimpact.

Safety

Push safety slide situated at the end of the com-pression tube forward (picture G). The rifle is nowready to fire.

Note: Don't block safety lever during cockingprocess.

Care and maintenance

Care is very simple. The working parts, like pistonand mainspring need no lubrication.

Care must be taken for perfect sealing betweenbarrel and cylinder. If the washer of the slidingbreech block should be damaged, a new one ofthe same thickness should be fitted.

In day to day use very little if any dirt or residuewill accumulate in the barrel bore. However, ifany does accumulate, this can be removed byusing soft felt cleaning pellets or standard barrel

cleaning equipment. Do not use wire brushes,but only soft materia! Normally it is not necessa-ry to clean the barrel bore when using good qua-lity pellets, which not only increase the accuracybut also do not leave deposits and actually cleanthe bore. The wearing surfaces should be lubrica-ted with an acid free gun oil. The outside of thisair gun should be maintained by wiping down themetal surfaces with a light acid and resin-free oil.It is detrimental to fire the weapon without a pel-let in the barrel, as this can strain the mechanism.Do not leave the rifle in a cocked position for longperiods, whether loaded or not as this weakensthe mainspring.

For rifled barrels, only lead pellets are recom-mended.

Nous vous flicitons pour l'acquisition de votre nou-velle carabine air comprim DIANA.

Le modle 54 est une carabine air comprim delongue porte, sans recul, canon fixe et levierd'armement latral. Le recul est amorti par unmcanisme anti-recul.

Lors du tir, le mcanisme de l'arme se dplacede 15 mm vers l'arrire.

Attention: Cette arme nest pas un jouet. Sonmauvais emploi ou irrflechi peut entrainerdes blessures graves. Lisez toutes les directi-ves avant lemploi. Il incombe a lacheteur et alutilisateur de respecter toutes les lois rela-tives a lemploi et a la possession de cettearme a air comprime.

Lors de lutilisation dune lunette de vise, il fautimprativement veiller respecter une distanceoculaire suffisante. Une lunette quipe duncaoutchouc doculaire est recommande.

Armement et chargement

L'armement s'opre en ramenant vers l'arrire lelevier d'armement latral, jusqu'en bute (lllus-tration A).

En mme temps, le mcanisme de l'arme se placeen postition avant. De ce fait, le piston dgage lachambre de chargement. Pendant l'armement undispositif de scurit empche le levier de dcro-

cher vers l'avant. Lorsque le point d'accrochagearrire est atteint, la dtente s'enclenche et estautomatiquement positionne en sret.

Le projectile peut facilement et sans danger treintroduit dans le canon. En poussant sur l'arrtoirsitu gauche de la chambre de chargement, ilest possible de ramener le levier d'armement enposition avant (lllustration B).

Le mcanisme de dtente

Le modle 54 est quip en srie dune dtente bossette. La course ainsi que la bossette sontprrgles en usine.

La course se rgle avec la vis N1(lllustration C):

>> rotation vers la droite = course plus courte>> rotation vers la gauche = course plus longue

La bossette nest plus oprationnelle lorsque lavis N1 est tourne trop gauche.

Vise

Le modle 54 est quip d'une hausse micromtri-que qui est rglable verticalement et latralement.Le rglage en hauteur s'opre au moyen de la visN1 (lllustration D). Les chiffres de 0 a 9 gravssur la molette de rglage servent uniquement derepres et ne correspondent aucune notion dedistance.

Les corrections latrales s'effectuent au moyen dela vis de rglage N3 fixe sur la feuille de hausseN2 (voir lllustration D).

>> En cas dimpact trop droite ou trop haut:tourner la vis de rglage correspondante versla droite.

>> En cas dimpact trop gauche ou trop bas:tourner la vis de rglage correspondante versla gauche.

La hausse comporte un feuillet offrant 2 crans demire diffrents (lllustration E). Pour slectionnerle cran de mire dsir, dsserer la vis situe surle cot de la hausse, retirer le cran de mire et lefaire pivoter de 180, remettre celui-ci en place etresserer la vis.

Pour le rglage du guidon N1 (lllustration F),dsserrer la molette N2 et dplacer le guidon surle porte-guidon N3, soit vers le haut, soit vers lebas. Resserrer ensuite la molette.

Sret de dtente

Comme la sret est automatiquement enclen-che, avant le tir, il est ncessaire de pousser versl'avant le poussoin de sret (lllustration G) qui setrouve l'arrire de la boite de culasse.

Attention: Pendant la procdure d'armement,le levier de sret ne doit pas tre bloqu.

Instructions gnrales pour le maniement et l 'entretien

L'entretien est rellement simple, car les picesessentielles comme le piston et son ressort nencessitent aucun soin particulier. Il faut veiller ceque, entre le canon et le cylindre, I'tanchit soitparfaite. Lorsque le joint du cylindre coulissantest

L'utilisation de brosses mtalliques est pro-scrire, il faut au contraire utiliser des brosses douces.Dans les autres cas, il n'est pas ncessaire de netto-yer l'ame du canon. En effet, I'emploi de projectilesen plomb de qualit ne laisse aucun rsidu. Pour l'en-tretien des pices coulissantes directement accessi-bles, un lger huilage suffit. L'utilisation d'une huilenon dtergente pour armes est conseill. Afin d'vi-ter la formation de rouille, il est conseill d'essuyerles parties mtalliques externes avec un chiffon imbi-b d'huile. Le tir vide, c'est--dire sans projectile,est proscrire. En outre, il ne faut jamais ranger unearme air dont le piston est arm. En effet, le ressort,comprime, se dtriore rapidement.

Congratulazioni per aver acquistato una carabinaad aria compressa costruita dalla Dianawerk,Mayer & Grammelspacher GmbH di Rastatt (Ger-mania). Ci auguriamo che questa carabina a cannafissa Vi procuri gran divertimento e ottimi punteggidi tiro.

Il mod. 54 una carabina ad alta potenza, robusta,precisa e priva di rinculo, a canna fissa ed arma-mento laterale. Leliminazione del rinculo stataottenuta tramite un innovativo meccanismo di fre-natura retrograda. Al momento dello sparo, ilmeccanismo arretra di 15 mm.

Attenzione: non un giocattolo. Luso scorrettoo disattento pu causare lesioni gravi.Impiegate la massima cautela se fate uso di uncannocchiale. Lazione retrocede di 2 cm circa:pertanto non appoggiate locchio allocularedel cannocchiale!

Importante: non puntate mai larma nella dire-zioni di esseri umani, anche se la carabina non armata o scarica.

Armamento e caricamento

Tirate indietro la leva darmamento finch non siarresta. Questazione arma la carabina ed apre ilblocco di culatta (figura A). Lo scatto e la sicura siinseriscono automaticamente una volta che la levasia stata portata nella sua posizione pi arretrata.Caricate il pallino nel vivo di culatta. Prima di ripor-tare la leva darmamento nella sua posizione iniziale, togliete la sicura della leva darmamento (figura B) collocata sul lato sinistro del cilindro.

Grilletto e gruppo di scatto

Il modello 54 dotato di serie di un grilletto a scat-to regolabile. Sia la corsa del grilletto che il puntodi sgancio sono pretarati in fabbrica. La vite nr. 1(figura C) non deve essere toccata: essa impie-gata esclusivamente per regolazioni di fabbrica.

La lunghezza del primo tratto di corsa, antece-dente lo sgancio, pu essere regolata mediante lavite nr. 2:

>> Rotazione in senso orario: primo tratto dicorsa pi breve

>> Rotazione in senso antiorario: primo tratto di corsa pi lungo

Una rotazione eccessiva della vite in senso antio-rario porta alleliminazione del secondo tratto dicorsa, il che fa s che il tiratore non riesca pi adistinguere il punto di sgancio.

Regolazione dellalzo

Il modello 54 dotato di serie di un alzo microme-trico, con regolazioni orizzontali e verticali e con unmirino regolabile in altezza.

La vite micrometrica per la regolazione verticalepresenta i numeri da 0 a 9: tali numeri sono soltan-to indicazioni mnemoniche e non sono pertantocorrelate alla distanza di tiro.

La regolazione laterale avviene tramite la vitemicrometrica posta sul lato dellalzo.

>> Se la carabina spara alto o a destra: ruotate la rispettiva vite in senso orario.

>> Se la carabina spara basso o a sinistra: ruotate la rispettiva vite in senso antiorario.

Lalzo equipaggiato con quattro fogliette di formadiversa. Inserite quella di Vostra preferenza (figu-ra E). Il mirino (figura F) pu essere regolato svi-tando la vite 2 e muovendolo in avanti o indietro.Dopo la regolazione, riavvitare la vite.

Sicura

Spingete in avanti la leva 1, posta allinizio del cilin-dro (figura G). La carabina ora pronta a sparare.

Nota: Non bloccate la leva della sicura durantele operazioni di armamento!

Pulizia e manutenzione

La manutenzione semplicissima. Le parti in movi-mento, quali molla e pistone, non necessitano dilubrificazione. Bisogna invece curare la perfetta te-nuta di sigillo tra canna, cilindro e blocco di culatta.

Nelluso quotidiano, pochissima polvere o sporciziasi accumuler nellanima della canna. Comunque,qualora se ne accumulasse in quantit notevole,tale sporcizia pu essere agevolmente rimossamediante luso degli appositi pallini morbidi perpulizia o dellattrezzatura standard per pulire le armi.Non fate uso di scovoli rigidi, ma solo di materialemorbido. Normalmente, non necessario pulire

lanima della canna quando si usano pallini di buonaqualit, i quali aumentano la precisione, non las-ciano depositi e di fatto puliscono lanima dellacanna.

Le superfici sottoposte ad usura vanno lubrificatecon un olio per armi non acido. La finitura esternadellarma va mantenuta strofinando le superficimetalliche con un olio non resinoso e lievementeacido.

Non consigliabile sparare senza pallino, poichlimpatto del pistone senza resistenza logora ilmeccanismo. Non lasciate la carabina armata perlunghi periodi, poich la molla potrebbe snervarsi.

Si raccomanda luso di pallini di piombo.
