Technische Fasern der EMS-CHEMIE Technical Fibers of EMS-CHEMIE GRILON Polyamidfasern wurden schon in den frühen fünfziger Jahren, des letzten Jahrhunderts, in der Schweiz in Domat/Ems, aus selbst hergestelltem Caprolactam, produziert. EMS hat sich seither zu einem weltweiten Spezialisten für technische Hochleistungspolyamide entwickelt und kann sein 75-jähriges Bestehen feiern. Als Pionier für synthetische Faserspinnverfahren hat EMS seine Know How in die ganze Welt exportiert und damit einen grossen Beitrag an die heutigen weltweite Faserspinntechnologie geleistet. EMS konzentrierte sich seit je her mehr auf technische als auf textile Fasern. Im 2009 wurde die Faser-produktion durch den Zukauf der ehemaligen NEXIS FIBERS Neumünster erweitert. Heute ist EMS-CHEMIE Neumünster ein tragender Bestanteil des Fasergeschäftes der EMS-Gruppe und wir können ihnen ein reichhaltiges Produktprogramm an technischen Fasern bieten. GRILON Polyamide fibers have been produced already in the early 50ys in the last century made out of own caprolactam in Domat/Ems Switzerland. Since this time EMS has changed more and more to a worldwide specialist and leader for high performance polyamides. As a pioneer for synthetic fiber spinning EMS has exported its Know How and has given an important contribution to the world wide techniques for man made fibers spinning. EMS has always concentrated its production more to the segment of technical fibers than the textile side.. During 2009 the fiber production was enlarged with the acquisition of NEXIS FIBERS Neumünster. Today EMS-CHEMIE Neumünster is an important part of the EMS-Group and we have the pleasure to present you a wide product range of technical fibers.

Kräuselung Crimp Shape Die Kräuselungsform und die Kräuselungsintensität beeinflusst die Verarbeitungseigenschaften einer Faser in einem hohem Mass. Das Fasersortiment von EMS-GRILTECH ist daher zu einem grossen Teil in zwei verschiedenen Kräuselungsformen (2D/3D) und den drei Stufen hoch-, mittel- oder tiefgekräuselt erhältlich. The crimp shape and the crimp intensity are very important for the manufacturing behavior of a fiber. The most part of the fiber range of EMS-GRILTECH is available in two different crimp shapes (2D/3D) and three different crimp levels, high-, medium- and low-crimp.

Stapel Länge Staple Length Die Stapellänge einer Faser ist eine wichtiges Kriterium bei der Verarbeitung zu einem Vlies oder einer Spinngarn. Der Zusammenhalt des Faserverbundes sowie die Verarbeitungseigenschaften werden dadurch stark beeinflusst. Die Vario Stapel sind in dieser Hinsicht ein Optimum zwischen diesen beiden Anforderung ausgelegt. Daneben sind aber auch alle möglichen Rechteckstapel machbar. The staple length of a fiber is an important criteria for a nonwoven or a spun yarn. The cohesion of the fiber matrix and the manufacturing behavior are strongly influenced by the staple length. The Vario staples is an optimum between these two major influences. Beside the Vario staple practical every rectangular staple length could be made.

Produkte, Anwendungen / Products, Applications GRILON Fasern für Papiermaschinenbespannungen GRILON Fibers Paper Machine Clothing Die Polyamid Faser für Papiermaschinenbespannung zeichnet sich durch hohe chemische und mechanische Beständigkeit aus dies garantiert ein hohe Gebrauchsdauer. Viele Produkte für diesen Bereich sind speziell auf die Kundenbedürfnisse hin zugeschnitten. The polyamide fibers for paper machine felts are characterized by their excellent chemical and mechanical wear resistance, which increase the performance and the lifetime of a fabric. A lot of products for this application are tailor made to customers demand. GRILON Bikomponenten Schmelzklebefasern GRILON Bicomponent Fusible Adhesive Fibers Bikomponenten Schmelzklebefasern verbessern die Gebrauch-seigenschaften von Vliesen und Filzen. Es wird eine starke Faserbindung, eine hohe Festigkeit erreicht und der Faser-verlust wird reduziert. Das Bindemittel (tiefer schmelzender Mantel) wird sehr fein im Faserverband verteilt. Bicomponent Fusible adhesive fibers improve the application properties of nonwovens. Due to the strong fiberentanglement technical products reach a higher tenacity and the fiberloss will be reduced. The bondingagent (lower melting sheath) is very fine distributed in the fiber-network. The higher melting core support the fiber matrix also during the fusion process. GRILON Vollprofil Schmelzklebefasern GRILON Fullprofile Fusible Adhesive Fibers Technischen Produkte wie Vliese erhalten durch Schmelzklebe-fasern eine höhere Festigkeit und der Faserverlust wird reduziert. GRILON Schmelzklebefasern werden auch als Matrix in leichten und dimensionsstabilen Verbundwerkstoffen eingesetzt. GRILON fusible adhesive fibers are used to enhance the technical performance of nonwovens and yarns. Such products benefit from stronger fiberentanglement, higher tenacity and reduced fiber loss. GRILON fibers make up the matrix for lightweight, dimensionally stable composites.


GRILON Fasern Feintiter GRILON Fibers Fine counts GRILON Fasern (PA6) eignen sich speziell zum Thermobondieren von leichten, weichen Einlagevliesen. Die gröberen Titer von 3.3 - 6.7 dtex werden auch für Volumenvliese und Dreizylindergarne eingesetzt. Die feinen NEXYLON Fasern (PA66) werden hauptsächlich zu technischen Nonwovens verarbeitet. GRILON (PA 6) fibers are particularly suited for thermobonding of light, soft interlinings. The coarser counts from 3.3 - 6.7 dtex are used for voluminous nonwovens and cotton yarns. The fine NEXYLON Fibers (PA66) are mostly used in technical nonwovens. GRILON Teppichfasern / Spinngefärbte Fasern GRILON Fibers for Carpet / Spun dyed fibers GRILON Fasern werden schon seit langem als Teppichfasern vorwiegend in schwarz und weiss eingesetzt. Seit einigen Jahren auch in verschiedenen Farben, im Titerbereich 17 - 135 dtex. Der Farbton kann an Hand von Vorlagemustern eingestellt werden. GRILON fibers are used since a long time as carpet fibers, mostly in black and white. In the last years also colored fibers are available in the count range 17 - 135 dtex. The color matching can be made from hand samples. NEXYLON Fasern für Abrasives NEXYLON Fibers for Abrasives NEXYLON Fasern (PA66) sind hoch beständig gegen Abrasion und daher sehr gut geeignet für Reinigungs-, Polier- und Scheuer-textilien. Es kommen vor allem grobe Titer 17 -135 dtex in unterschiedlichem Stapel zum Einsatz. Das Sortiment richtet sich nach den Anforderungen des Kunden. NEXYLON Fasern (PA66)are high abrasion resistant fibers used in nonwoven abrasives for cleaning, polishing and deburring. Mainly coarse counts of 17 to 135 dtex in different staple lengths are used. Products can be tailor-made to meet specific needs.


GRILON und NEXYLON Fasern für Schuheinlagen GRILON and NEXYLON Fibers for shoe liners Für Schuheinlagen werden GRILON und NEXYLON Fasern in den Titer 1,7 - 3,3 dtex eingesetzt. Es sind auch bakeriostatische Fasern erhältlich die zur Dämpfung der Geruchsbildung dienen. For shoe linings GRILON and NEXYLON fibesr in the counts 1,7 - 3,3 dtex are used. There are also bacteriostatic fibers available to defend bad odour. NEXYLON Fasern für Batterieseparatoren Technical Application Support NEXYLON PA66 Fasern werden in Batterieseparatoren eingesetzt weil im elektronischen Bereich sehr hohe Qualitätsanforderungen gelten. Vor allem kommen die Titer 1.0 - 1.7 dtex zur Anwendung. Es sind aber auch Bikomponentenfasern aus PA6/PA66 erhältlich. NEXYLON PA66 fibers are used as battery separators because in the electronics the quality standard is very high. Mainly the counts 1.0 - 1.7 dtex are used. Also bicomponent fiber made out of PA6 and PA66 are available. GRILON Klebefasern für textile Spinngarne GRILON Bondingfibers for Textile Spinning Yarns GRILON Klebefasern für Spinngarne werden zur Erhöhung der Festigkeit und zur Verbesserung des Garnzusammenhaltes eingesetzt. Der Faserverlust kann reduziert und die Faser-einbindung kann erhöht werden. GRILON meltbonding fibers for yarns are used to increase the tenacity of a yarn and the cohesion of the yarn structure. The fiber loss can be reduced and the fiber entanglement can be increased.

NEXYLENE Fasern für Heissgasfiltration NEXYLENE Fibers for Hotgazfiltration NXYLENE ist eine hochtemperaturbeständiges Faser aus PPS. Herausragend ist zudem die chemische Beständigkeit gegenüber nahezu allen Lösemitteln, vielen Säuren und Laugen. NEXYLENE is a high temperature resistance fiber made out of PPS. Outstanding characteristics are the chemical stability against practical all solvents and a most acids and a lot of alkali.
