Licht und Akustik beeinflussen das körper- liche und geistige Wohlbefinden, die Freude an der Büroarbeit und deren Gelingen. Mit seinem fünfteiligen System MUSE, das diese beiden elementaren Umgebungsfaktoren sinnvollkombiniert, antwortet auf zwei der drin- gendsten Optimierungspotenziale modernerBürowelten.
Light and acoustics have a direct impact on physical and mental well-being, as well as the enjoyment of o�ce work and its success. With the five element MUSE system, addresses two of the most pressing oppor- tunities for improving today’s o�ce environ- ment by tackling these two basic workspace hygiene factors in combination.
DE Ein leises Umfeld ist ein menschliches Ur-Bedürfnis, das heute allzu oft vernachlässigt wird. Denn häufig werden Maßnahmen zur raumakustischen Optimierung halbherzig realisiert. Mit MUSE haben wir ein Produkt entwickelt, das besonders effektiv ist und sich gleich- zeitig bewusst zeigen will. Seine Gestaltung aus ein-fachen Formen und ansprechender Oberfläche wird gleichberechtigter Teil des innenarchitektonischen Konzepts.
EN Quiet surroundings form a basic human need that is too often neglected today. And steps taken to improve room acoustics are often just half-heartedly executed. In developing MUSE, we have created a product that is both particularly effective, and at the same time deliberately raises awareness of its influence. Simple forms and an attractive surface make up the design that becomes an equal part of the interior design concept.

EN The interior and product designer Katharina Schmidt has consistently focused on room acoustics in her pro-fessional career. The best possible performance literally sets the tone when designing and developing her acous-tic room elements. Katharina Schmidt exudes a deep personal enthusiasm for the evocative and distinctive products and symbiotic solutions she creates that not only provide for a peaceful work environment but also stimulate the senses. MUSE allows the architect to focus on the building layout.

Präzise in Form gepresst, verbindet das Material gleich drei Vorteile: Es ist eigen-stabil, akustisch höchstwirksam und hat eine optisch sowie haptisch angenehme Oberfl ächenqualität. So schaff t MUSE eine hohe Wohlbefi ndlichkeit bei gleich-zeitig hoher Umweltverantwortung.
EN The felt-like material of MUSE is made from 50% recy-cled PET. The material is precision formed and combines three key advantages: inherent stability, high acoustic eff ectiveness and a high surface quality that is pleasant to see and touch. As a result, MUSE both generates a bene-fi cial level of well-being while combining a high degree of environmental responsibility.
