PRONOVA was founded in 1998 and is based on the activities and know-how of AEG in the area of gas analysis, which was exclusively taken over by PRONOVA. Diese wird durch Patente und wissenschaftliche Veröffentlichungen insbesondere zur Festkörpersenso-rik dokumentiert. Die Technologie von Festkörper- und membransensoren ermöglicht die Herstellung von sehr kompakten Sensorformen, die insbesondere die Sonden zur Trink- und Oberflächenwasserprüfung qualifizieren. Die relativ hohe Druckstabilität der Festkörpersensoren erweitert den Einsatz der Elektroden in tieferen Gewässern.
