Essen Haus, Come back I n & Up North B ar Spring Events 2011 Easter -- Sunday, April 24 th – 11 a.m. -7p.m. Easter dinner served family style. $15.95 adults, $6.95 kids, under 5 years old free. Reservations recommended. Special appearanc es by the EASTER BUNNY! Regular dinner menu is also available after 3p.m. Maifest – Saturday, May 7 th – 11 a.m. – 7p.m Mayfest (Maifest auf Deutsch) celebrates the arrival of spring; t he festival will take place outside rain or shine from 12:00am until 7:00pm. The party continues inside with live entertainment at 8:30pm. A wide selection of German food and bier to is available outside! ( brats, roasted chicken, pork shanks and pulled pork) • Free Kids Activities & games • Maypole (15 ft high) with professional Morris dance troop to teach us how to do the dances! Sessions at 3:30 & 4:30 Maifest Entertainment Schedule: 11:00-Noon: “A Walk in her shoes” is a charity walk event which starts & ends in the Essen Haus parking lot. It’ll be fun to watch men walk a mile in high- heels to support The Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Noon-1:30 The Little Red Wolves 2:00- 6:30 Copper Box 8:30 Brew Haus Polka Kings Mother’s Day – Sunday, May 8 t h – 11a.m. – 7p.m. Family Style serving. Prime Rib, breaded shrimp, BBQ ribs & baked chicken. $18.95 adults, $6.95 kids, 5 years & under free. Regular menu available at 3:00. Brewers’ Tail-gate trips – Wednesday, May 11 th & Sunday, June 12 t h $50 ticket includes all you can eat, all you can drink, game ticket & bus ride to Miller Park. May 11 th , San Diego Pardres bus loads at 9:30a.m. 12:10 game time. June 12 th , St. Louis Cardinals bus loads at 10:30a.m. 1:10 game time. Memorial Day Outdoor – Monday, May 30 th
The Up North Bar is hosting a multiple band all day event. Openingup the deck and customer appreciation day party. Outdoor event.Great music, great specials, lots of giveaways.
Deck Bands for Happy Hour @ CBI -- Starting Tuesday, May 31 st Bands will play on the CBI stage outside Monday – Friday approx.5:30ish to 7:30ish through June, July & August.
Ride for a Reason Motorcycle Poker Run – June 4 th The Essen Haus is hosting a Wisconsin Coalit ion AgainstDomestic Violence fundraising event. One of Madison’s firstoutdoor concert & poker run events of 2011.
The Party – Saturday, June 4th. Pre-registration begins M ay
20 th . The poker run will be the best 5 card hand (3 bonus stamp
locations). Rider may register 2 weeks in advance of concert date.
The $15 ride fee ($25 for a couple) & raffle sales proceeds go to Wisconsin Coalit ion
Against Domestic Violence(WCADV). Register at the Come Back In in person or online at
the WCADV website. Free outdoor concert event open to the public rain or shine, families
welcome (even if not participating in the ride). A w ide selection of German food and bier
to is available outside! Some are brats, roasted chicken, BBQ ribs, pulled pork & pork
shanks.
