My hometown
Our hometown, Knjaževac, is very beautiful, and there are a lot of interesting things about it.
It got its name by the Duke Miloš, and our main street is named after him.
The most popular sights of our town are the swimming pool Banjica, our local museum, the
Tower of Gurgusovac, and the Villa Cvetković, known as the Villa of Džervin. There are three
primary schools in our town, and two secondary schools. From time to time, there are some
interesting events like concerts, plays, festivals, and things like that. In July, we organize the
Festival of the youth culture in Serbia.
The countryside of our town is very beautiful. There are two rivers that flow through our town-
the Svrljiški Timok and the Trgoviški Timok, the both of which join the Beli Timok. There is a
popular ski centre on Babin Zub, which is the highest peak of the mountain of Stara planina.
People are peaceful and quiet, but they are very hospitable. If you ever pass through
Knjaţevac, don‟t hesiate to visit it!
Bez sumnje, najbolji i najefikasniji način za učenje
nekog stranog jezika jeste boravak u datoj stranoj
zemlji, gde, hteli ne hteli, uslovljeni okolnostima,
postepeno bivamo sposobni za sve širu komunikaciju
na datom jeziku. Međutim, kako to nije uvek moguće,
jednog jezika.
Šta su to Easy Readers ili RIDERI ? Koja je njihova
prednost?

Kopf.
Das war das schönste Kostümfest für mich.
Sava and Aca took the first place
in the municipal competition in English!
The message is: Enjoy

This year our school
has taken part in the
National Geographic
Junior‟s quiz “Through
the door of knowledge to a journey”. The first prize
was a journey to
Washington, where the
head office of National
Geographic was placed.
The team Iskrice (Sparks)
whose members were
Milica Tasković, Mirjana
Boţinović, Ivana
Milosavljević and the fourth Grade teacher, Ivana Kos, represented our school. The
qualifications for this competition took place in different towns of Serbia at
the end of the last year, that is, in November. Our team won its way to the
finals.
It was very tense on the day of the finals. The whole time while we
were travelling to Belgrade, we were thinking about questions. In the finals
we competed against the teams
from Šabac and Kučevo. The
questions were not easy at all. Our
team got the second place.
I know that it is impossible
for everybody to win in a quiz.
The most important thing is to
take part. After all, we have
achieved a great success, and
that is the 2nd
place in Serbia.
What is it ?
My teacher‟s name is Ivana Kos. She works in Vuk Karadzic
Primary School. She has got brown wavy hair and brown eyes. She
wears nice clothes, like skirts, shirts and scarves. Her warm eyes tell us
a lot about her: she is kind, clever, gentle, beautiful, but first of all, she
is a good teacher. She teaches us Maths, Serbian, Social studies,
Music…and helps us when we need help. My teacher loves us and we
all love her. For me she will always be the best teacher and I will
always love her!

Can you tell me, please?
Is school for fighting
or learning and writing?
We like school
and we don‟t want violence there.
Violence is not fair.
Can you tell me please?
Is school for fear or
a good atmosphere?
We like school.
We like reading and writing,
drawing and counting.
Don‟t waste your time in
shouting and fighting,
but in playing and laughing.
A bully
-only makes fun of others.
- threatens you often
- hits you, kicks you
- damages your things
- calls you names
- picks on children
- makes you do things you don't want to
- leaves you out of activities
- spreads rumours
- makes you feel uncomfortable or
scared
- not allows you to speak
- not allows others to speak with you

LOVE SONG
I think about you every night
I‟m really sorry we had a fight.
Spring is here, flowers in bloom
Our empty bench in the park
Is still waiting for you
Come back- stay with me
Forget everything- kiss me
Give me your hand- hold me
I can feel that you love me
I‟m fed up with everything
There‟s another girl by your side
And whom you really love
you‟ll have to decide

Our favourite classes Our favourite classes are History, P.E. and English. History is very interesting because our teacher talks about towns and nationalities through the history, and about the wars, and other events in a very interesting way. Our teacher is Ivica Mišid. He is not only a good teacher, but also a very funny man, who always cheers us up in his classes. What we like most is that we are going to play football with him at the end of the school year. P.E. is interesting because then we can play football, handball, basketball, volleyball and we do gymnastics and a bit of athletics. Our teacher is Slobodan Stojanovid. English is interesting because we learn English grammar. We like English because we play lots of interesting and funny games. The most responsible for this is our teacher Marija Ivanovid.
Wenn ich in deinen Augen sehe,
So schwindet all mein Leid und weh;
Doch wenn ich küsse deinen Mund,
So werde ich ganz und gar gesund.
Wenn ich mich lehn an deinen Brust,
kommt´s über mich wie Himmelslust;
Doch wenn du sprichst:
Ich liebe dich,
So muß ich weinen betterlich.
Heinrich Heine
fort,
Gibt mir weh,
Gibt mir Ruh;
Meine Heimat bist du!
Hermann Hesse
Warum? Dass ich so fern von dir steh!
Warum? Dass mein Herz mir keine Ruhe geben will!
Unbekannter Dichter
Who was St.Valentines? Let me introduce myself. My name is Valentine. I lived in Rome during the third century. That was long, long ago! At that time, Rome was ruled by an emperor named Claudius. I didn't like Emperor Claudius, and I wasn't the only one! A lot of people shared my feelings.
Claudius wanted to have a big army. He expected men to volunteer to the army. Many men just did not want to fight in wars. They did not want to leave their wives and families. As you might have guessed, not many men signed up. This made Claudius furious. So what happened? He had a crazy idea. He thought that if men were not married, they would not mind joining the army. So Claudius decided not to allow any more marriages. Young people thought his new law was cruel. I thought it was unbelievable! I certainly wasn't going to support that law!
Did I mention that I was a priest? One of my favourite activities was to marry couples. Even after Emperor Claudius passed his law, I kept on performing marriage ceremonies -- secretly, of course. It was really quite exciting. Imagine a small candlelit room with only the bride and groom and myself. We would whisper the words of the ceremony, listening all the while for the steps of soldiers.
One night, we did hear footsteps. It was scary! Thank goodness the couple I was marrying escaped in time. I was caught. I was thrown in jail and told that my punishment was death.
I tried to stay cheerful. And do you know what? Wonderful things happened. Many young people came to the jail to visit me. They threw flowers and notes up to my window. They wanted me to know that they, too, believed in love.
One of these young people was the daughter of the prison guard. Her father allowed her to visit me in the cell. Sometimes we would sit and talk for hours. She helped me to keep my spirits up. She agreed that I did the right thing by ignoring the Emperor and going ahead with the secret marriages. On the day I was to die, I left my friend a little note thanking her for her friendship and loyalty. I signed it, "Love from your Valentine."
I believe that note started the custom of exchanging love messages on Valentine's Day. It was written on the day I died, February 14, 269 A.D. Now, every year on this day, people remember. But most importantly, they think about love and friendship. And when they think of Emperor Claudius, they remember how he tried to stand in the way of love, and they laugh -- because they know that
love can't be beaten!
If u wanna know how much I miss you,

The ones u catch is how much u miss me,

Music speaks all the languages, as it speaks to our hearts!
Author: Jovana Pavlović VIII3 Today there are so many kinds of music. They are pop, rock, metal, heavy metal, r’n’b, hip hop, and so on. However, to me the most
important and the best is rock music. This kind of music has existed for a long time. There are so many rock bands that are excellent, but the band I like best is Linkin Park. Linkin Park is a USA band. It has got six members. This band appeared a few years ago, but its members have changed recently. The band released its first album in 2000. The name of the first album was “Hybrio Theory”. The foolowing albums were: “ Reanimatior”, “Meteora”, “Collision Course”, and the latest one is “Minutes to Midnight”. The members of the band are Chester Bennington (vocal), Rob Bourdon, (drums), Brad Delson ( guitar), Dave “Pheonix” Farrell (bass guitar), Mike Shinoda (vocal) and Joe Hahn (DJ). The most important member of the band is Chester Bennington. He was the last to come to the band, but he helped them become famous. The band owes him its success, because he’s an excellent singer, and the public likes him very much. He also likes his work, and he enjoys doing it. We don’t see singers like him everyday. Mike Shinoda was born in 1977 in a town near Los Angeles. Brad Delson,
Rob Bourdon and he founded the band which they, at first, called Xero. He wrote and still writes songs for the group. Some of them he dedicated to his wife. Joe Hahn is a DJ in this group. His passions are, however, comics, as he likes art. He met Mike Shinoda at a camp, and the next moment he was in a band. He is a creator of many video spots of the band. Brad Delson was a classmate to Mike Shinoda. They went on many metal and hip hop concerts. Together with Mike, Rob and his roommate Phoenix Farrell, he founded his first band and called it the Pricks. Later
on they changed it to Xero. However, ha had a row with Mike because of the sound and Mike left the band. After a long time, Brad met Chester Bennington, and it was a success. They published their first album of a new band name Linkin’ Park. These people
are very important to this group, without them the band would not be the same. There are many reasons why I like this group. One of them is the fact that this band plays a mix of rock and hip hop music,
and it sounds great. I think that there is not such a band as Linkin’ Park in the whole world.
Heavy metal is not dead! Authors: Jana Stanisavljević VI1, Marija Marković, Lazar Todorović, and Jovan Milosavljević VIII1 WHO ARE IRON MAIDEN?- A legendary heavy metal band Iron Maiden was formed by the bassist Steve Harris in 1975. As a child he was fond of football, just as other boys from England. When he got disappointed with it, he turned to
music. The door of heavy metal was open. Steve decided to make it! Iron Maiden! The doll Eddie appeared on the stage for the first time. It became the recognizable symbol of this group. For that time it was something new in the world of heavy metal. Up to now the group has made 14 albums with many hit songs. The members of the group have changed. Now they are: Steve Harris – bass, backing vocals, Dave Murray– guitars, Adrian Smith – guitars, backing vocals, Bruce Dickinson – lead vocals, Nicko Mc Brain – drums, percussion, Janick Gers– guitars, backing vocals.
A CONCERT IN BELGRADE This year they have held their fifth concert in Belgrade. It was on February 10, in the Belgrade Arena in front of over 30000 people and it was the only one in Europe this year. My friends and I were happy to be among them, too! Before they started playing, there was a group whose
singer is Steve Harris’s daughter. It was very good, too. And then Iron Maiden started. During the whole concert there were
fireworks, various light and sound effects. Their mascot Eddie surprised us with its height- it was over 3 meters tall! The members of the group looked amazing on the stage.” Scream for
me, Belgrade!” the singer was yelling,
while he was jumping on the stage and flapping with the British flag. He changed his clothes a couple of times. The stage was made in the Egyptian style and this show
looked really amazing. Some of the songs they played were: “The Trooper,” “Power slave,” “The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner,” “Run to the Hills”, “Fear of the Dark “…he concert ended with the encore of three songs. First we heard the demonic voices and then the first riffs of the song “The Number of the Beast”. The last song was “Sanctuary” and finally Dickinson promised to come again soon! During the concert we were shouting and jumping and screaming with excitement and, of course, singing with them. Everything was fantastic and
wonderful. For us it was the night we shall never forget!
Beovision and Eurovision Song Contest 2009 Authors: Milica Jovanović and Filip Đošid VII3
Eurovision Song Contest, as its name says, is an international song competition, which attracts a lot of attention as the winning of it means a great national success and pride. In Eurovision Song Contest 2007 held in Finland,
Srbia was the winner with Marija Šerifović‟s song Molitva (the Prayer). Therefore, the next contest was organized in Serbia, and it was a great success, which set a task for the following Eurovosion hosts. However, before Eurovision, each country contestant must organize a song competition to elect a new representative for it. The name of the Serbian music festival in which we choose who will represent our country at Eurovision is Beovision. This year Beovision took place on the seventh and eighth of March. The semi final night was on March the 7th and the final night was on March the 8th. There were 22 contestants on the semi- final evening; however, only 12 of them became finalists according to the votes. During the voting Beovizija hosted a few guests who are the neighbour countries‟ Eurovision representatives such as
Regina (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Igor Cukrov (Croatia), Andrea Denirović (Montenegro), Next time (FYR Macedonia), and Quartissimo (Slovenia).
Our favourite was OT band, whose band members are Vukašin Brajić,
ĐorĎe Gogov, Nikola Paunović and Nikola
Sarić who took part in reality show Operation triumph. However, the winners of this Beovision contest, Marko Kon and. Milan
Nikolić represented Serbia with their song “Cipela” (a shoe) on the second semi final night of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 on 14 May 2009 at Olympic Indoor Arena in
Moscow in Russia. Unfortunately, among the forty- two countries that had participated, Marko Kon didn‟t win a notable place. The winner of the 54th Eurovision Song Contest is Norway represented by Alexander Rybak. The winning song „Fairy
tale‟ received record breaking 387 points, which is the highest total score in the history of Eurovision. The second place took Iceland with the song „Is it true?‟, whereas the third place went to Azerbajan represented with the song „Always‟. In 2010, the competition will take place in Oslo in Norway, and we are already looking forward to it.

Harry Potter- a book and a film
My favourite film and book is Harry Potter. The first film
about Harry Potter appeared around 2000, but the book
came out a few years before. There are seven parts of the
book, but only five of them have been turned into a movie.
The last two parts will be at cinemas in July 2009. I like these
films very much because everything is about magic and they
are very exciting. The story is about one young boy who was
left at the doorstep of his cousin‟s house. While he was
growing up, his relatives the Darsleys were very mean to him
and they hated him. When he was eleven, a strange letter
came for him. However, his uncle didn‟t let him read it.
Soon, more letters kept coming, but Harry didn‟t know
anything about them. One night something strange
happened. A strange man called Hagrid visited Harry and
told him that he was a wizard, and that he was invited to
attend a special school for wizards. That night a new life for
him started- the life full of wonders, magic, witches and
wizards and fight between good and evil! If you are looking
for excitement, you should read this book and join the
adventures of Harry Potter and his brave friends!
Twilight
Twilight is not for those with weak nerves. Prepare
for vampires, monsters, a lot of blood, but also for
one true love. There are a few reasons for which
vampires have become so popular. The best- seller
‟Twillight‟ has finally made into a film. Since
January 2009 the movie has been on the repertoir in
cinemas across the country. In Knjazevac, the
projections were on the 2nd, the 3rd, and the 4th of
March.
It‟s about a creepy and , at the same time, beautiful
love story between Isabell Bella Swan (Kristen
Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson).
Isabell, who is an outsider, has to move to Forks, a
small town in Washington state. She isn‟t very
excited about that because her new home is rather
boring. However, everything is going to change
when she starts going to a new school there. Bella
meets Edward- one very mysterious and unusual
guy. She gets attracted by him. He is funny and
intelligent, and – he hasn‟t got any older since 1918.
He is a vampire, who has been looking for love for
90 years now. However, he is going tofind his love
in Bella. They fall in love at first sight, but that
brings on further temptations. Edward must resist
Bella‟s seductive skin smell because one bite might
destroy his true love.
Besides this, there appears an evil vampire James
(Cam Gigandet). His cause is to kill... Bella and to
her blood be haggard. Then the race with time
begins. Edward, employing his superhuman powers,
is going to protect Bella from James. Will Edward
win the most important feat in his life? You will find
the answer in a movie or a book!
FOR +READING IS MORE ACTIVE You can imagine how the characters look, the coulour of their voice- you create a film in your head on your own. It helps you develop your imagination and vocabulary, and then, write, speak, and even think better! + If you read when you’re young you’ll be smarter and capable of studying later when you go to a highschool or a faculty.
AGAINST -It takes more time, but remember all really good things take time to be realized.
FOR + There are different effects that help you get into the story better. Historical movies help you learn where and how people used to live, what they dressed, and so on, which you perhaps can’t imagine. + Good for relaxation, when you want to be entertained. ( Don’t go too far!) + There are soundtracks that accompany films
AGAINST - WATCHING IS MORE PASSIVE You watch somebody else’s vision, so it is ready- made. You don’t think foryourself - It can make you uncreative, incapable and lazy if you only choose what’s given and what’s easier!

Our teacher Lidija
Stanisavljević likes to travel
very much. Not counting
former Yugoslav republics,
she has visited Spain,
Turkey, Italy, Austria and
France. Five years ago she
was in France which
impressed her, especially
The Azure Coast and Paris.
She thinks Paris is one of
the most beautiful and
exciting cities in the world. Andrea and Andjela:” Why do you like Paris so much? Lidija: “It is a city of light which has soul. It is full of interesting places to visit like the art museum Louvre, the castle of Versailles, Disneyland, the Triumph gate and of course the Eiffel Tower. From the Eiffel tower you can have the most beautiful view of Paris.” Andrea and Andjela:”Have you seen the famous painting Mona Lisa by Da Vinci?” Lidija:” Yes, and it is really wonderful, especially her eyes and a famous smile. People say that you need three days to look around the Louvre closely and there you can also see the
mummies and sarcophagus.” Andrea and Andjela:”Can you tell us something about the castle of Versailles?” Lidija:” It is a huge castle where the royal Louis family lived. It has many big rooms with paintings and other beautiful things. Outside, there is a big garden which looks like a paradise. There are many beautiful flowers, but also a fountain and a little lake where you can ride on a boat. “ Andrea and Andjela:”What did you see in Disneyland?” Lidija:” I loved it not only because of its beauty, but because of the feeling that I was a child again! It was like I was in a fairy-tale playing with my favourite cartoon characters. I visited Sleeping Beauty‟s castle, climbed the magic beans, flew over London with Peter Pan and Wendy, went through the Labyrinth where I met The Rabbit and Mad Hatter painting roses and of course Alice… I saw Aladdin‟s magic lamp, but I didn‟t try it out. My wish would be to stay in Disneyland forever. I cried when the Grand Parade of Disney‟s characters started passing along in front of the crowd of
delighted people. Andrea and Andjela:” Would you go on this trip again?” Lidija:”With great pleasure! I would also like to visit other places in France. Still, Paris is wonderful and I would like to live in it.” Andrea and Andjela:” Do you plan any other trips?” Lidija:”Of course, there are many other countries where I would like to find myself! Journeys are the most valuable things which stay in our lives and souls forever!

Dragana Ljubisavljevic, the
teacher from our school, apart
from the job she does, likes
travelling very much. We talked to
her about her trips. Among many
places she has visited she has
chosen to tell us something about London, the
capital of England.
Jovana:” Why do you like London most?”
Dragana:” I like it because of its originality. That
is the city with soul, culture, a rich tradition, and
on the other hand it is a very modern city.”
Jovana:” Could you tell us something about
English London‟s double- deckers people?”
Dragana:” The widely accepted belief that English people are cold
and reserved does not match at all with the picture I have made! They
are very fine, kind, nice, good mannered and ready to help people any
moment, especially the tourists, who really need help in this city.
There are maps allover the city showing us all interesting things we
can see and visit. “
Jovana: ”Since there are so many interesting things to see, do you need a lot of money for
that?”
Dragana:” England is probably one of the few countries which want to share their
richness, culture, and tradition with everybody, so the entries to all museums, galleries
and even some theatres are free! “
Jovana:” In your opinion, what are the most important things to
see in London?”
Dragana: “First of all- the British museum, the London eye, the
Tower of London, Buckingham
Palace, Green Park, Big Ben, Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus and of
course the Oxford Street for the ones who love shopping. “
Jovana: “Since you have been to America too,
can you compare America and England?”
Dragana: ” I like America, too, but it is just a pale copy of England.
They are trying to be like English people, but they miss something the
English had collected for many centuries before them.”
Jovana:” And for the end, could you tell us if England is the country
you would like to live in?”
Dragana:” Yes, of course, absolutely, I would be glad to, I hope so”…
(she is laughing)
Jovana: “Thank you for this story you have shared with us”
Dragana: “You‟re welcome!
Unsere Lehrerin Jelena Čataković ist
nach Deutschland zweimal gefahren.
Sie hat einige Städte als- Nürnberg,
Würzburg, und so weiter besuchen.
Hier sind ihre Eindrücke.
Bane: Guten Tag, Lehrerin!
Jelena: Guten Tag!
Bane: Ich bin ein bisschen neugierig.
Darf ich Ihnen ein paar Fragen
stellen? Ich will noch mehr von
Deutschland wissen? Waren Sie in
Deutschland?
Jelena: Du hast Recht.
Man sagt,
Deutschland gehen. Danke für das Gespräch.

Our history teacher Milan Dimitrijevic visited Dubrovnik in Croatia
last year. It is a town of great beauty and architecture, also famous for
its wine “Postup” and beautiful women. Now he is going to tell us
something about it.
Vanja and Vuk: “Can you tell us something
about the history of Dubrovnik?”
Milan:”Of course. It is definitely the place of the richest
history in this part of the Adriatic. It appeared at the end of
the seventh century when the remained settlers of Epidaurus
(today‟s Cavtat) found shelter on a small island nearby. In
time that colony spread and very soon occupied the
hinterland, too. Its first name was Raguza. When The Slavs
came to this area, they changed its name into Dubrovnik, by
the forest (dubrava) in its vicinity. This is the earliest history
of Dubrovnik and in time through centuries it developed into
a powerful marine and mercantile center.
Vanja and Vuk:”Was Dubrovnik the same as you
imagined it?”
Milan:” As I was only reading about it, I became really
excited when we arrived. It was even more beautiful than I
expected! Even before you enter Dubrovnik you get a
sensation that you are in a real Middle Aged fortified place.
The western side of the town, which was
the place from which the town started to
grow, stands out for its beauty and the height of the fortress
walls…One of the most beautiful places is the main square with the
statue of a poet Ivan Gundulic. There is also the museum of the
writer of comedies Marin Drzic which especially draws attention by
its architecture.
Vanja and Vuk:” What were the people like? Were they friendly?”
Milan:” The people of Dubrovnik were very nice and yugo-nostalgic
which is not usual for northern Croatian towns. During the summer it is
hard to find a parking place and for the place at the restaurants you must wait for ten minutes or more. Food is typical Mediterranean, with
a lot of fish and other sea specialties. I was delighted with huge ice-
creams of exotic flavours!
Greece is a very popular holiday destination- because of its beauty and its historical significance. It was once a very powerful which monuments testify of its greatness, and which philosophers and artists made the beginning of the European culture.

GREECE
To me, Greece is the most beautiful country in the world. I have
been to Greece many times since I was young.
Greece is the country of gods. There is the old mountain Olympus, then
there are ancient islands like Santorini, Mykonos, Ions, Chios,
Zakynthos, etc.
The Greeks are very kind and hospitable people, similar to the Serbian people. They
like music and dance.
Then, of course, needless to mention, the Greek food is very special and delicious. The
most popular is gyros, a type of flat bread bun with different kinds of meat, tzatziki salad,
tomato and onion. On the second place, there is suflaki- it is a meat grilled with fresh
bread. The Greek food is very healthy as they put olive oil in their meals, and they eat
fish a lot. Their sweets are also very good with a lot of nuts,
peanuts, almonds and a lot of sugar.
Besides that, one of the most important thing is that the Aegean
Sea is so blue, clean and warm. You can enjoy it from May till
September. That‟s why so many people from all over the world
visit this country.
So, don‟t miss this country of gods, the beautiful sea, great
food, warm people and so many historical monuments.

Easter is, together with Christmas, the happiest Christian holiday. It is the day when Jesus Christ resurrected from
death. Namely, betrayed by Judah, caught by Roman Emperor, Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross on Good Friday. He surrendered those cruel acts of men to sacrifice for all the mankind. However, two days later, he became alive again, and now he symbolizes that good deeds bring the victory and happiness. The Catholic Church celebrates Easter two weeks earlier than The Orthodox Church. However, some of the rites are similar. Families gather on Easter lunch, when they eat Easter eggs. The Catholics prefer chocolate eggs, and the Orthodox prepare hen’s eggs which are dyed. However it might be, Easter is the time of joy and peace!

The killer with a face of a boy. This is one of the
nicknames of the football player Fernando Torres
because although he looks like a boy, he „kills‟
goalkeepers. In his home country- Spain, they call him
“El Niño”- The Kid! His whole name is Fernando Jose Torres Sans.
With his brilliant shot Fernando gained a title of one of the
European Champions. For 50 years Spain has been known as a loser,
but this young attacker has brought them to the throne of Europe.
Torres was born in Madrid, the capital of Spain on the 20ieth of March in 1984. He
began playing football when he was 5. First he played for some kids‟ clubs at junior
level, and his outstanding performance there opened him the door for the famous club-
Atletico Marid. It was his first and the only club before his transfer to England. As a
fourteen- year old in a jersey of Atletico Madrid he won the Nike cup, and he was
proclaimed the best player of these ages. For Atletico‟s first team he began to play on the
22nd
of May, in 2001, in a match agains Leganyes. The week after, he scored his first goal
for Atletico, in a match against Albaseta.
The season 2001/ 2002 was the worst one in Torres‟s career. He played only six
games. The following year, however, he expressed all his talent and ability, scoring 12
goals in 20 games.
Then, he became a captain as a nineteen- year- old boy.
He had played 214 matches and scored 90 goals for Atletico Madrid. Last summer he
made a transfer to Liverpool in England. As a debutant he has already impressed the
British. He scored 33 goals in 46 games and showed that he could play not only Spanish
but also British football as well.
The first time he tried himself out in a jersey of the Spanish representation team was
on the 6th
of September in 2003 in a friendly game against Portugal. His first goal was
against Italy a few months later. In a jersey of this representation- Furia, he has played
over 60 games and scored over 30 goals.
I can only say that future is ahead of him, and he will have time to prove himself
even more.

feel cool in school!
One day in school Authors:Milica jovanovid and Filip Djošid VII3 In the school, it’s very cool! On the classes, it’s very nice, like in the paradise! You know what we’re thinking about- The school bells are ringing and, then, we’re singing; ‘cause we’re on the break, and none of us is fake! Then, we’re going home, and we’re on our own! But we’re not sad, it isn’t so bad, ‘cause tomorrow is another day, as my Granddad says! Last night I had a terrible dream- the school was on fire. Everybody was choking, the time was running, and nobody was helping! Then, I snapped back to reality, and was glad to see that nothing was happening to me!
Later I said, Oh, thanks God, everything is cool! Let’s call my guys, and see if they’re ready for school!
