WELCOME MATTHEW BOWE (Bo-vie) This weekend we welcome Matthew to Holy

Family for a summer assignment. Matt will be with us

through the month of July before heading back to semi-

nary, where he will begin his Theology studies, and God

willing, be ordained in 4 years. Please welcome Matt to

our parish family.

Hello, my name is Matthew Bowe. I am a semi-

narian for the Diocese of La Crosse. I grew up in Bloom-

er (second northernmost parish) and earned degrees in

Mathematics and Physics Education from UW-Eau Claire

in 2015. I spent a year at Mundelein Seminary, a year in

the Regency Program in La Crosse, and just finished a

year at Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary in Winona.

In August, I will begin attending St. Francis de Sales Semi-

nary in southeast Milwaukee.

My parents still live in Bloomer, and if not at

home, they can be found at their camper at a

campground. They are enjoying their time as empty nest-

ers. I have one younger sister, who graduated from UW-

Stevens Point and is currently working in the College of

Engineering at UW-Madison and also on a Master's De-

gree. Please pray for paternal grandparents as they cele-

brate their golden anniversary this July. Finally, my hob-

bies included reading, golfing, playing board and card

games, praying, watching movies, and spending quality

time with friends and family.
