SystemanforderungenWindows 7/Vista/XP/2000, Mac OS X:

Fr diese Betriebssysteme werden keine weiteren Treiber bentigt. Bitte beachten Sie,dass fr Windows 2000 mindestens Service-Pack 4 und fr Windows XP mindestensService-Pack 2 installiert sein muss.

1) Inbetriebnahme

1) Schlieen Sie das mitgelieferte Netzkabel, sofern vorhanden, am Netzteil an undstecken Sie das Netzteil in eine Steckdose. Verbinden Sie das Netzteil mit dem"Power"-Anschluss der DataStation.

2) Verwenden Sie bitte ausschlielich das mitgelieferte USB-Anschlusskabel, um dasGert mit einem USB-Anschluss Ihres PCs zu verbinden.

3) Schalten Sie die DataStation durch kurzes Drckender Ein-/Ausschalttaste) bzw. durch Bettigen desEin-/Ausschalters) ein. Ihr Betriebssystem erkennt

automatisch die DataStation und fgt auf dem"ArbeitSPlAtz"/"comPuter" (Microsoft Windows) bzw. aufdem "DeSktoP" (Mac OS X und Linux) die DataStationals "lokAler DAtentrger" (bzw. "lokAleS lAuFwerk") hinzu.

Halten Sie die Ein-/Ausschalttaste) lngergedrckt bzw. bettigen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter), um die DataStation auszuschalten. 1

2) Datenaustausch

Nach erfolgreicher Inbetriebnahme des Gerts erscheint im "ArbeitSPlAtz"/"comPuter"(Windows) bzw. auf Ihrem "DeSktoP" (Mac OS X) ein lokaler Datentrger "trekStor".

Windows 7/Vista/XP

Markieren Sie die gewnschten Dateien bzw. Ordner mit der Maus.

Positionieren Sie den Mauszeiger ber den markierten Dateien bzw. Ordnernund drcken Sie dann die rechte Maustaste. Whlen Sie aus dem erscheinendenKontextmen den Punkt "koPieren" aus.

Whlen Sie im "ArbeitSPlAtz"/"comPuter"/"DeSktoP" das gewnschte Ziel (z. B. dasLaufwerk "trekStor") aus.

Drcken Sie die rechte Maustaste und whlen Sie die Option "einFgen", um denKopiervorgang zu starten. Nach Abschluss des Kopiervorgangs sind die Daten auf

dem Ziellaufwerk vorhanden.

Mac OS X ab 10.3

Markieren Sie die gewnschten Dateien mit der Maus. Ziehen Sie per Drag and Dropdie Dateien im "FinDer" auf das Laufwerkssymbol Ihrer DataStation.

3) Abmelden und Trennen der TrekStor DataStation vom Computer

Windows 7/Vista/XPKlicken Sie mit der linken Maustaste unten rechts in der Taskleiste auf das Symbol"HArDwAreentFernenoDerAuSwerFen". Whlen Sie aus dem erscheinenden Kontextmenden Punkt "uSb-mASSenSPeicHer - lAuFwerkentFernen" durch Klicken mit der linkenMaustaste aus. Dadurch wird die DataStation aus dem Betriebssystem Ihres Rechnersentfernt. Jetzt knnen Sie die DataStation von Ihrem Computer trennen.

Mac OS X ab 10.3

Sie mssen das Laufwerk vom Desktop entfernen, bevor Sie es trennen oderabschalten. Dazu klicken Sie auf das betreffende Laufwerk-Symbol und ziehen es aufdas Papierkorb-Symbol.

a Achtung: Befolgen Sie bitte den empfohlenen Abmeldevorgang, um Schden am Gertoder Datenverlust zu vermeiden!

4) Formatieren der Festplatte

a Wichtig: Sichern Sie alle Daten Ihrer Festplatte, bevor Sie Ihre Festplatte formatieren.

a Achtung: Beim Formatieren werden ALLE Daten auf dem Datentrger gelscht.

i Bitte beachten Sie, dass bei einer FAT2 formatierten Festplatte nur Dateien mit einer

Dateigre bis maximal 4 GB untersttzt werden. Wenn Sie grere Dateien speichernwollen, empfiehlt sich die Verwendung der Dateisysteme NTFS (Windows) oder HFS+(Mac OS X).

Windows 7/Vista/XP

Die DataStation kann wie jede andere Festplatte in Windows formatiert werden.

Klicken Sie im "ArbeitSPlAtz"/"comPuter" mit der rechten Maustaste auf den lokalenDatentrger "trekStor".

Whlen Sie aus dem erscheinenden Kontextmen den Punkt "FormAtieren" aus.

Klicken Sie mit der linken Maustaste auf die Schaltflche "StArten" und besttigenSie das Formatieren durch Drcken der Schaltflche "ok".

Mac OS X ab 10.4

Um die DataStation unter Mac OS X zu formatieren, gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor:

Klicken Sie auf die DataStation, um diese fr das Formatieren auszuwhlen. Dieseist mit ihrer Modellnummer aufgefhrt.

Whlen Sie im rechten Teil des Fensters "PArtitionieren" aus.

Whlen Sie mithilfe der Drop-Down-Liste unter "ScHemA" die Anzahl der zuerstellenden Partitionen aus.

Formatierung mit dem Dateisystem HFS+

Um die DataStation unter Mac OS X mit dem Dateisystem "HFS+" ("mAc oS extenDeD")zu formatieren, gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor:

Klicken Sie auf die Schaltflche "oPtionen" und whlen Sie hier als Partitionsschema"guiD-PArtitionStAbelle" oder "APPle-PArtitionStAbelle" aus und besttigen Sie die Wahlmit "ok".

Bestimmen Sie mithilfe der Drop-Down-Liste das Dateisystem fr die zuformatierende Festplatte/Partition und tragen Sie einen Namen in das dafrvorgesehene Feld ein.

Das Dateisystem "FAt32" bietet die maximale Kompatibilitt mit unterschiedlichenBetriebssystemen, hat jedoch eine Grenbeschrnkung fr Dateien (max. 4 GB). Umdie DataStation unter Mac OS X mit dem Dateiformat "FAt32" zu formatieren, gehenSie bitte wie folgt vor:

Sicherheits- und Verwendungshinweise:

dTechnische Arbeiten an dem Produkt drfen nur von entsprechend qualifizierten Personendurchgefhrt werden. Das Produkt darf weder geffnet werden noch drfen nderungen daranvorgenommen werden. Die Komponenten knnen nicht vom Nutzer gewartet werden.

e Setzen Sie das Gert niemals Feuchtigkeit, Kondenswasser und Nsse aus.

jSchtzen Sie das Gert vor extrem hohen und niedrigen Temperaturen undTemperaturschwankungen. Betreiben Sie es nur bei einer Umgebungstemperatur innerhalb desBereichs von 1 C und 4 C.

m Stellen Sie das Gert nicht in der Nhe einer Wrmequelle auf und schtzen Sie es vor direkterSonneneinstrahlung.

hAchten Sie bei der Verwendung und Lagerung des Gerts auf eine mglichst staubfreie Umgebung.

g Die Reinigung der Oberflche des Gerts darf niemals mit Lsungsmitteln, Farbverdnnern,Reinigungsmitteln oder anderen chemischen Produkten erfolgen, nutzen Sie stattdessen ein weiches,trockenes Tuch bzw. einen weichen Pinsel.

o Von der Nutzung von USB-Kabeln mit Leitungslngen von mehr als m sollte abgesehen werden.

Sollten Sie das Gert einer elektrostatischen Entladung aussetzen, kann es u. U. zu einerUnterbrechung des Datentransfers zwischen dem Gert und dem Computer kommen bzw.Funktionen des Gertes knnen gestrt werden. In diesem Fall sollte das Gert vom USB-Portabgezogen und erneut eingesteckt werden.

qDie Ihnen vom Betriebssystem angezeigte Speicherkapazitt Ihrer externen Festplatte kann von dereigentlichen Kapazitt abweichen. TrekStor verwendet, wie auch die meisten Hardwarehersteller, zurAngabe der Speicherkapazitt die vom Internationalen Einheitensystem (SI) vorgegeben Prfixe frEinheiten (z. B. 1 GB = 1... Byte). Viele Betriebssysteme halten sich allerdings nicht an dieseVorgabe und zeigen eine geringere Speicherkapazitt an, da sie ihren Berechnungen 1 GB = 230 Byte =1.7.741.824 Byte zugrunde legen.

Der Hersteller behlt sich das Recht vor, das Produkt stndig weiter zu entwickeln. Diese nderungenknnen ohne direkte Beschreibung in dieser Bedienungsanleitung vorgenommen werden. Informationenin dieser Bedienungsanleitung mssen somit nicht den Stand der technischen Ausfhrung widerspiegeln.

System requirementsWindows 7/Vista/XP/2000, Mac OS X:

No additional drivers are necessary for these operating systems. If you use Windows2000, make sure that you have installed at least service pack 4; Windows XP requiresservice pack 2 or above.

1) Startup

1) Connect the provided power cable (if available) to the power supply, andplug the power supply into a socket. Connect the power supply to the "Power"connection of the DataStation.

2) Only use the provided USB connection cable toconnect the device to a USB port in your PC.

3) Turn on the DataStation by briefly pressing the on/offbutton) or by actuating the on/off switch ).

Your operating system will automatically recognizethe DataStation, and add the DataStation as a"locAlDiSk" (or "locAlDrive") to "mycomPuter"/"comPuter" (Microsoft Windows) or the "DeSktoP"(Mac OS X and Linux).

Hold down the on/off button) or actuate theon/off switch) to turn off the DataStation. 1

2) Data exchange

After a successful startup of the device, a local disk "trekStor" appears under"mycomPuter"/"comPuter" (Windows) or on your "DeSktoP" (Mac OS X).

Windows 7/Vista/XP

Select the desired files or folders with your mouse.

Position the mouse pointer over the selected files or folders, and press the rightmouse button. Select "coPy" from the context menu that appears.

Under "mycomPuter"/"comPuter", select the desired target (such as the "trekStor"drive).

Click it with your right mouse button, and select "PASte" to start copying. Aftercopying is completed, the data will be available on the target drive.

Mac OS X from 10.3Select the desired files with your mouse. Drag and drop the files in the "FinDer" to thedrive symbol of your DataStation.

3) Logging off and disconnecting the TrekStor DataStation from thecomputer

Windows 7/Vista/XP

At the bottom right on the task bar, left-click on the icon "SAFely remove HArDwAre". Inthe context menu that appears, left-click on "SAFely remove mASS StorAge Device - Drive" toselect it. This removes the DataStation from the operating system of your computer.You can now disconnect the DataStation from your computer.

Mac OS X from 10.3

You need to remove the drive from the Desktop before you disconnect it or turn it off.Click on the relevant drive icon, and drag it to the trash icon.

a Note: Please follow the recommended logoff procedure to prevent damage to thedevice or data loss.

4) Formatting the hard disk

a Important: Back up all the data on your hard disk before formatting it.

a Note: ALL the data on the disk will be deleted when you format it.

i Please note that only files with a maximum file size of 4 GB are supported for a hard disk

formated with FAT2. If you want to store larger files, we recommend the use of the filesystems NTFS (Windows) or HFS+ (Mac OS X).

Windows 7/Vista/XP

The DataStation can be formatted like any other hard disk in Windows.

Under "my comPuter"/"comPuter", right-click on the local disk "trekStor".

Select "FormAt" from the context menu that appears.

Left-click on the "StArt" button, and confirm that you want to format by clickingthe "ok" button.

Mac OS X from 10.4

To format the DataStation in Mac OS X, please proceed as follows:

Select "FinDer" + "ProgrAmS" + "utilitieS" and open "DiSkutility".

Click on the DataStation to select it. It is listed under its model number.

In the right side of the window, select "PArtition".

Use the drop-down list under "volume ScHeme" to select the number of partitionsyou want to create.

Formatting with the file system HFS+

To format the DataStation in Mac OS X with the file format "HFS+" ("mAc oS extenDeD")please proceed as follows:

Click on the button "oPtionS" and choose either "guiD PArtition tAble" or "APPlePArtition tAble" as the partition scheme and confirm the choice by klicking on "ok".

Use the drop-down list to determine the file system for the hard disk/partition tobe formatted, and enter the name in the provided field.

i Instructions for the Mac OS X Leopard: The file system "HFS+" ("MacoS extended")allows you to use the "tiMeMacHine".

To start the formatting of the DataStation, click on the "APPly" button and confirmthis by clicking on "PArtition", in the window that appears.

Formatting with the file system FAT32

The file system "FAt32" offers the maximum compatibility with different operatingsystems. Unfortunately, it is limited with respect to the maximum possible size of a file(max. 4 GB). To format the DataStation using Mac OS X with the file system "FAt32"

please proceed as follows: Click on the button "oPtionS" and choose "mASter bootrecorD" as the partition

scheme and confirm the selection by klicking on "ok".

Use the drop-down list to select the file system "mS-DoS"/"mS-DoS (FAt)" for thehard disk/partition to be formatted, and enter the name in the provided field.

i Please wait until the formatting of your DataStation has been completed. Pleasenote that formatting under Mac OS X 1.4.x takes a long time.

To start the formatting of the DataStation, click on the "APPly" button and confirmthis by clicking on "PArtition", in the window that appears.

Instructions for safety and use:

d Only qualified persons may perform technical work on the product. The product may not be openedor changed. The components cannot be serviced by the user.

Like most manufacturers of computer hardware, TrekStor uses the prefixes for units(e.g. 1 GB = 1... bytes) as prescribed by the International System of Units (SI). Unfortunately,many operating systems do not comply with this norm and display a lower capacity because theybase their calculations on the assumption that 1 GB = 230 bytes = 1.7.741.824 bytes.

The manufacturer retains the right to continually improve the product. These changes may be madewithout being directly described in these operating instructions. For this reason, the information providedin these operating instructions may not reflect the current state of the art.

Tenere premuto il tasto di accensione/spegnimento) pi a lungo o premerel'interruttore di accensione/spegnimento) per spegnere la DataStation.

2) Scambio di dati

Dopo aver attivato l'apparecchio, in "riSorSeDelcomPuter"/"comPuter" (Windows) o sulla"DeSktoP" (Mac OS X) viene visualizzato un supporto dati locale "trekStor".

Windows 7/Vista/XP

Evidenziare i file o le cartelle desiderati con il mouse.

Posizionare il mouse sui file o sulle cartelle selezionate e fare clic con il pulsantedestro del mouse. Selezionare l'opzione "coPiA" dal menu contestuale che vienevisualizzato sullo schermo.

In "riSorSeDelcomPuter"/"comPuter"/"DeSktoP", selezionare il percorso desiderato(ad es. l'unit "trekStor").

Premere il pulsante destro del mouse e selezionare l'opzione "incollA" per avviareil processo di copia. Una volta completato il processo di copia, i dati saranno

disponibili sull'unit di destinazione.

Mac OS X versione 10.3 o superiore

Evidenziare i file desiderati con il mouse. Trascinare i dati con la funzione Drag and Dropin "FinDer" sul simbolo della periferica della propria DataStation.

3) Disattivazione e disconnessione di TrekStor DataStationdal computer

Windows 7/Vista/XP

In basso a destra sulla barra delle applicazioni, fare clic con il pulsante sinistro del mousesull'icona "rimozioneoeliminAzioneDell'HArDwAre". Dal menu contestuale visualizzatoselezionare la voce "rimozionePeriFericADiArcHiviAzioneDimASSA uSb" facendo clic con ilpulsante sinistro del mouse. In tal modo, DataStation viene rimosso dal sistema operativodel computer. A questo punto possibile scollegare la DataStation dal PC.

Mac OS X

necessario rimuovere la periferica dal Desktop prima di scollegarla o disattivarla. Pereseguire questa operazione, fare clic sull'icona della periferica e spostarla sull'icona delcestino.

a Nota: per evitare danni alla periferica o eventuali perdite di dati, attenersi al processo dirimozione suggerito!

4) Formattazione del disco rigido

a Importante: Salvare tutti i dati del disco rigido, prima di formattarlo.

a Attenzione: Con la formattazione TUTTI i dati saranno cancellati dall'unit.

i Si prega di notare che in caso di disco rigido formattato con FAT2 sono supportati

solo i file con una dimensione massima di 4 GB. Se si vogliono salvare file didimensioni maggiori, suggeriamo di usare il sistema di file NTFS (Windows) oppureHFS+ (Mac OS X).

Windows 7/Vista/XP

La DataStation pu essere formattata in Windows come qualsiasi altro disco rigido.

Cliccare su "workStAtion"/"riSorSeDelcomPuter" col tasto destro del mouse sull'unitlocaletrekStor".

Selezionare dal meno di contesto che appare la voce "FormAttA..."

Cliccare col tasto sinistro del mouse sul pulsante "Avvio"e confermare laformattazione premendo il pulsante "ok".

Mac OS X da 10.4

Per formattare la DataStation sotto Mac OS X, fare quanto segue:

In "trovA"+ "ProgrAmmi"+ "ProgrAmmiDiutilit" aprire il "ProgrAmmADiutilitDelDiScorigiDo".

Cliccare sulla DataStation, per selezionarla per la formattazione. Questa elencatacon il suo numero di modello.

Selezionare nella parte destra della finestra "creAreunAPArtizione".

Selezionare dal men a discesa sotto "ScHemA" il numero delle partizioni che sistanno creando.

Formattazione con il sistema di file HFS+

Per formattare la DataStation su Mac OS X con il sistema di file "HFS+" ("mAc oS extenDeD"),si prega di seguire quanto riportato sotto:

Cliccare sul pulsante "oPzioni" e selezionare qui come schema di partizione "tAbellADiPArtizione guiD" oppure "tAbellADiPArtizione APPle" e confermare la scelta con "ok".

Requisitos del sistemaWindows 7/Vista/XP/2000, Mac OS X:

Estos sistemas operativos no necesitan drivers adicionales. Tenga en cuenta quecon Windows 2000 es necesario haber instalado el Service Pack 4 o superior, y conWindows XP, el Service Pack 2 o superior.

1) Puesta en funcionamiento

1) Si dispone de este, conecte el cable suministrado a la fuente de alimentacin yenchufe la fuente. Conecte la fuente de alimentacin a la conexin "Power" de laDataStation.

2) Para conectar el aparato a un puerto USB del PC, utilice nicamente el cable deconexin USB suministrado.

3) Encienda la DataStation pulsando brevemente latecla de encendido/apagado) o mediante el

botn de encendido/apagado)

. El sistemaoperativo reconoce automticamente laDataStation y aade en "mi Pc"/"eQuiPo"(Microsoft Windows) o bien en el "eScritorio"(Mac OS X y Linux) la DataStation como"DiScoextrAble" (o bien "uniDADlocAl").

Para apagar la DataStation, mantenga pulsadams tiempo la tecla de encendido/apagado)o utilice el botn de encendido/apagado).

2) Intercambio de datos

Tras la correcta puesta en funcionamiento del aparato, el DataStation apareceren "mi Pc"/"eQuiPo" (Windows) o en el "eScritorio" (Mac OS X) como la unidad dealmacenamiento local "trekStor".

Windows 7/Vista/XP

Marque los archivos o carpetas deseados con el ratn.

Posicione el puntero del ratn sobre los archivos o carpetas marcados y, acontinuacin, haga clic con el botn derecho del ratn. En el men contextualque aparece, seleccione la opcin "coPiAr".

En "mi Pc"/"eQuiPo"/"eScritorio", seleccione la unidad deseada (por ejemplo, launidad "trekStor").

Haga clic con el botn derecho del ratn y seleccione la opcin "PegAr" para iniciar

el proceso de copia. Una vez finalizada la copia, los archivos estarn disponibles enla unidad seleccionada.

Mac OS X a partir de 10.3

Marque los archivos deseados con el ratn. Arrastre los archivos desde el "FinDer" hastael smbolo de unidad de disco de DataStation.

3) Desconexin y retirada de DataStation TrekStor del ordenador

Windows 7/Vista/XP

Haga clic con el botn izquierdo del ratn en el smbolo "QuitArHArDwAreconSeguriDAD"situado abajo a la derecha en la barra de tareas. En el men contextual que aparece,seleccione "DiSPoSitivoDeAlmAcenAmientomASivo uSb" y haga clic en "Detener" con elbotn izquierdo del ratn. De esta forma, el DataStation se desconectar del sistemaoperativo del ordenador. Ahora puede retirar el DataStation del PC.

Mac OS X

Debe eliminar del escritorio el icono de unidad antes de desconectarla o retirarla. Paraello, arrastre el icono de unidad a la papelera de reciclaje.

4) Formatear el disco duro

a Importante: haga copia de seguridad de sus datos importantes de su disco duro antesde formatearlo.

a Precaucin: al formatear se borrarn TODOS los datos del disco extrable.

i Por favor, tenga en cuenta que en un disco duro formateado en FAT2 el tamaomximo posible de los archivos es de 4GB. Si desea guardar archivos de mayortamao, se recomienda el uso de los sistemas de archivos NTFS (Windows) oHFS+ (Mac OS X).

Windows 7/Vista/XP

El DataStation puede ser formateado en Windows como cualquier otro disco duro.

En "mi Pc"/"eQuiPo" haga clic con el botn derecho del ratn sobre el disco

extrable "trekStor". Seleccione la opcin "FormAteAr" en el men contextual que aparece.

Haga clic con el botn izquierdo del ratn sobre el botn "inicio" y confirmepulsando el botn "AcePtAr".

Mac OS X a partir de 10.4

Para formatear el DataStation bajo Mac OS X, proceda como se indica a continuacin:

Mediante "FinDer"+"APlicAcioneS"+"utiliDADeS" abra la "utiliDADDeDiScoS". Haga clic sobre lel DataStation para seleccionarlo para el formateo. ste aparece

por debajo de su nmero del modelo.

En la parte derecha de la ventana seleccione la opcin "PArticioneS".

En el men desplegable, seleccione en "eSQuemADevolumen" el nmero departiciones a crear.

Formateo con el sistema de archivos HFS+

Para formatear el DataStation en Mac OS X con el sistema de archivos "HFS+"("mAc oS extenDeD"), proceda como se describe a continuacin:

2) change de donnes

Aprs la mise en service russie de l'appareil, un support de donnes local trekStor apparat sur votre PoSteDetrAvAil / mon orDinAteur (Windows) ou sur votre bureAu (Mac OS X).

Windows 7/Vista/XP

Slectionnez les fichiers, respectivement les dossiers souhaits avec la souris.

Positionnez le pointeur de souris sur les fichiers ou les dossiers slectionns etappuyez ensuite sur le bouton de souris droit. Dans le menu contextuel affich,slectionnez la rubrique coPier .

Dans le PoSteDetrAvAil / mon orDinAteur / bureAu slectionnez la destinationsouhaite (par exemple le lecteur trekStor ).

Appuyez sur le bouton droit de la souris et slectionnez loption inSrer afin de

lancer la procdure de copie. Aprs clture de la procdure de copie, les donnessont enregistres sur le lecteur de destination.

Mac OS X version 10.3 et suprieures

Marquez les fichiers souhaits laide de la souris. Avec la fonction Glisser&Dplacer,tirez les fichiers dans le FinDer sur l'icne du lecteur de votre DataStation.

3) Dconnexion et sparation de la TrekStor DataStation

de l'ordinateurWindows 7/Vista/XP

Avec le bouton gauche de la souris, cliquez dans la barre des tches en bas droite surl'icne DconnexionoujectionDemAtriel . Un menu contextuel est affich. Slectionnezici la rubrique PriPHriQueDeStockAgeDemASSe uSb SuPPrimerleDiSQue en cliquant sur lebouton gauche de la souris. La DataStation est ainsi retire du systme d'exploitation devotre ordinateur. Vous pouvez maintenant sparer la DataStation de votre PC.

Mac OS XVous devez supprimer le lecteur du bureau avant de le dconnecter ou de le mettrehors circuit. Pour ce faire, cliquez sur le symbole correspondant du lecteur et faites-leglisser sur l'icne de la corbeille.

a Remarque : pour viter des dtriorations sur lappareil et des pertes de donnes, suivezscrupuleusement la procdure de dconnexion recommande !

4) Formatage du disque dur

a Important : sauvegardez toutes les donnes de votre disque dur avant de le formater.

a Attention : lors de la procdure de formatage, TOUTES les donnes enregistres sur lesupport de donnes sont effaces.

i Notez que dans le cas d'un disque dur format selon le systme FAT2, seuls des fichiersd'un volume de 4 Go maximum sont supports.

Windows 7/Vista/XP

La DataStation peut tre formate comme n'importe quel autre disque dur dansWindows.

Avec le bouton de souris droit, cliquez dans le PoSteDetrAvAil / monorDinAteur sur le support de donnes local trekStor .

Dans le menu contextuel affich, slectionnez la rubrique FormAter... .

Avec le bouton de souris gauche, cliquez sur DmArrer et confirmez le formatageen cliquant sur ok.

Mac OS X version 10.4 et suprieures

Pour formater la DataStation sous Mac OS X, procdez de la manire suivante :

Cliquez sur les rubriques FinDer + APPlicAtionS + utilitAireS pour ouvrir les

utilitAireDeDiSQue . Cliquez sur la DataStation pour slectionner cette dernire pour le formatage.

Cette dernire est indique avec son numro de modle.

Dans la partie droite de la fentre, slectionnez PArtitionner .

l'aide de la liste droulante, slectionnez le nombre de partitions crer sous conFigurAtionDevolume .

Formatage avec le systme de fichiers HFS+

Pour formater la DataStation sous Mac OS X avec le systme de fichiers HFS+ ( mAc oS extenDeD ), procdez de la manire suivante :
