We know that we expect a lot from them and that our company depends on the good and successful work of our employees. Hence we attach great importance to a culture of mutual trust and appreciation and to open communication. We also set high standards for our managing staff. The conduct of the managing staff should be exemplary so as to provide orientation for the employees. The managing staff don’t just challenge their employees, but are also responsible for their promotion and development. Our managing staff keep their employees constantly informed about goals, operational correlations and backgrounds. We see this as an important prerequisite for the employees’ identification with the company. We give our employees the skills they need to accomplish their tasks, and thus promote independent action. It is also the task of the managing staff to review the employees’ results. Here, the aim is explicitly to emphasise and praise positive aspects. If mistakes are found, the managing staff motivate their employees to find solutions and learn from these mistakes for the future. Criticism is always constructive and solution-oriented, never on a personal level. We know that these requirements of our managing staff represent a great challenge. Therefore, we help our managing staff with targeted measures, which convey the required management expertise. In addition, within the framework of our qualification measures for managers, we undertake to ensure that management positions are primarily filled by our own employees (principle: promotion before recruitment).
