MESSAGE TO SHAREHOLDERS
The economic environment encountered a number of volatile conditions in 2007. The accelerating of
inflation owing to increase of world oil and commodities prices plus the slow down of U.S. economy as a result of the
sub-prime mortgage crisis has impacted on spending, resulting in slow growth in overall consumption and investment
compared with the preceding year. Nevertheless, domestic recovery became notable in the second half of the year
resulted from improvement of political climate.
The consolidated revenue was recorded 8,988 million baht, reflecting a growth of 16 % compared to 2006.
The net income of 1,174 million baht, which increased 8% from the same period of last year.
For celebration of the 15th year anniversary, the Company declared final dividend of 1 baht per share and
paid interim dividend of 1 baht per share on October 12, 2007. The total dividend of 2 baht per share for the fiscal year
ended February 20, 2008 which has payout ratio of 42.6 %.
To show our gratitude and appreciation toward continue supporting of customers, the Company has
developed card spending loyalty scheme and strengthen relationships by issuing AEON Gold Card for the customers who
have earned significant spending in each membership year as a reward program since April 2007.
With our aim to expand the Corporate Card and penetrate the mid-market and the large-market segments,
the Company has introduced Corporate Card to facilitate companies to manage their expenses with properly control since
November 2007.
The Company has 80 branches, 353 ATMs, and more than 13,300 dealers networks to support customers
nationwide.
To enhance efficiency and extend the workforce of Collection, Credit Control, Customer Service and
Management of Information System cover throughout the region, the Company has set up two new centralized centers,
one is in Khonkaen and another one in Bangkok which followed the centers in Chiangmai and Songkha (Hadyai) in 2006.
These four centralized centers were implemented to support the continuation of operations and perform as the disaster
recovery sites among the others as well.
In continuation of funding liquidity management, the fourth project of securitization of credit card was
implemented on June 2007 as a diversified source of flexible funding and raised for 2.2 billion baht for the Company.
For market enhancement and building credibility with customers and shareholders, the Company has
made significant effort through specialized training and certification process to be awarded ISO/IEC 27001/2005
Accreditation on February 2008 as the first company in finance business in Thailand.

As to commemorate the Company’s 15th anniversary, AEON Thailand foundation has been found in April
2007, with an intention to provide assistance to local community and society and encourage the protection and
preservation of our environment.
Moreover, the Company has overseen a potential growth of financial business in oversea especially among
Asian countries, the Company has invested 5.18% in PT. AEON Credit Service Indonesia, a consumer finance business in
Indonesia, and invested 20% in ACS Trading Vietnam Co., Ltd., a trading business by installment payment in Vietnam and
1.8 % in AEON Credit Service (M) Sdn. Bhd., which has been listed on Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in December 2007.
Though the uncertain economic in 2008, our mission still focuses on business expansion and increase
customers database by pursuing more card recruitment activities in both Bangkok and provinces. In addition, the
