Thrombophilie-Screening
Warum wird es so kritisiert?
• Ärzte sind ungenügend informiert
• Verunsicherte Ärzte
• Verunsicherte Patienten
• Beanspruchung von Ressourcen des Gesundheitssystems
• Kosten
keine / unklare klinische Bedeutung
Thrombophilie-Screening
Counselling
• 26 women with FVL (16%) were not counselled by their gynecologist.
• 4 women with FVL (3%) were encouraged to take OCs.
• 11 women (16%) with wildtype FV were discouraged from OC intake.
• 6 women (12%) got discrepant information.
• 62 women (23%) were not or less satisfied with counselling regarding OCs.
• 115 women (42%) were not or less satisfied with counselling regarding
genetic testing.

„ The presence of hereditary thrombophilia has
not been used as major factor to guide
duration of anticoagulation for VTE in these
guidelines because evidence from prospective
studies suggests that these factors are not major
determinants of the risk of recurrence.“
