Waste-to-Energy Plant RABA Südwestthüringen, Germany

Mit der Realisierung der RABA Südwestthüringen,

von der Genehmigungsplanung bis zum Bau und der

Inbetriebnahme, wurde MARTIN als Generalunter-

nehmer beauftragt.

Die Verbrennungslinie ist mit einem MARTIN

Rückschub-Rost ausgestattet. Diese aus 4 Bahnen

bestehende Einheit hat einen Durchsatz von 21,6 t/h

und eine thermische Leistung von 60 MW. Die bei der

Verbrennung freigesetzte Energie wird in Form von

Strom und Fernwärme abgegeben.

Neben der Verantwortung als Generalunternehmer

hat MARTIN folgende wesentliche Systeme ge-

liefert: Abfall- und Schlacke-Krananlagen, Sperr-

müllschere, Ballenpresse, Klärschlammlagerung/-

aufgabe, Verbrennungssystem, Dampfkessel,

Schlacke- und Flugascheförderung, Entstickung

(SNCR) und sämtliche Baugewerke. Mit der aus

Sprühabsorber, Flugstromreaktor und Gewebefilter

bestehenden Abgasreinigung werden die behörd-

lichen Vorgaben gesichert eingehalten.

MARTIN has been commissioned to act as general

contractor in the implementation of the RABA Süd-

westthüringen plant, from permit planning through to

construction and start-up.

The combustion line is equipped with a MARTIN

reverse-acting grate. The unit comprises 4 runs and

has a throughput of 21.6 t/h with a thermal capacity of

60 MW. The energy released is converted to

electricity or is used for district heating purposes.

In addition to acting as general contractor, MARTIN

has delivered the following major systems and

services: Waste and bottom ash crane systems,

crusher for bulky waste, baling press, sewage sludge

storage/feeding system, combustion system, steam

boiler, bottom ash and fly ash transport system,

denitrification (SNCR) and all building activities. The

flue gas cleaning system, consisting of spray

absorber, transport reactor and fabric filter,

consistently complies with official requirements.
