Fundado en 1992 perteneciente a la Facultad de Filosofía.

Equipo formado por tres profesores, 16 investigadores, 15 docentes para una población de aproximadamente 700 estudiantes.

Acreedores en 2006 al Premio Alemán de trabajadores para la Enseñanza. En el 2011 al Premio por la innovación y excelencia en la enseñanza por la Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft, y en 2014 el premio d-elina por la innovación en E-learning por BITKOM.

La diversidad multicultural y el diálogo intercultural son esenciales en nuestrosprincipios académicos reflejados en la docencia, la investigación y en nuestraoferta académica.

Interdisciplinariedad: Ciencias económicas, sociales, culturales, de comunicación y comportamiento, entre otras.

Análisis enfocado a 12 regiones en el mundo en Asia Oriental, América Latina, Europa y África.

Nuestros estudios sobre las culturas, trascienden a las “culturas nacionales”, contemplan el análisis de las culturas de las ciudades, la cultura organizacional y empresarial, la cultura de equipos de trabajo, por mencionar sólo algunos ejemplos.

En el sistema alemán, nuestra disciplina se oferta a modo de especialidad conjunta de una disciplina principal:

Licenciatura en “Estudios Interculturales y Comunicación Empresarial” (Interkulturelle Wirtschaftskommunikation)

Licenciatura en “Gestión Intercultural de Música y Eventos” en cooperación con la Universidad de Música de Weimar (Interkulturelles Musik- undVeranstaltungsmanagement)

Maestría en “Desarrollo Intercultural de Personal y Gestión de la Comunicación”(Interkulturelle Personalentwicklung undKommunikationsmanagent)

La mayoría de cursos se imparten en el idioma alemán, sin embargo, impartimos seminarios en inglés y español.

E-LearningLa Biblioteca Digital es un proyecto en desarrollo que planea la cooperación bibliográfica virtual entre las Universidades asociadas.

Foros virtuales para el intercambio e interacción entre los miembros del Campus Intercultural que funge como una red internacional entre nuestras universidades asociadas.

El Portal Intercultural (Interkulturelles Portal) estáconformado por la asociación de universidadesdedicadas a los estudios interculturales, lo quepermite encontrar información sobreentrenadores interculturales, novedades enestudios académicos, investigación y literatura,entre otros.

El Glocal Campus plataforma web interactivaconformada por más de 29 universidadesasociadas en 16 países, que ofrece cursosvirtuales para el estudio independiente, accesoa videoconferencias y a materialescomplementarios a éstas.

El salón virtual permite realizar juegos desimulación entre equipos interculturales einternacionales, como el “InterCulture 2.0”, quetiene la finalidad de crear y experimentarprincipalmente la interculturalidad, además dela planeación, cooperación, negociación yejecución de proyectos.

Universität Jena – ein gewichtiger Wirtschaftsfaktor

Für jeden Euro Landesmittel, den der Freistaat Thüringen in die FSU Jena

investiert, entsteht eine Wirtschaftsleistung von 2,50 Euro in der Region

(ohne Einbeziehung Uniklinikum). Zu diesem Ergebnis kommt eine 2017

veröffentlichte, unabhängige Studie des »DIW Econ«, einem Consulting-

Unternehmen des Deutschen Instituts für Wirtschaftsforschung Berlin,

zur ökonomischen Rolle und Bedeutung der Universität für die Region.

Friedrich Schiller University Jena—a decisive economic factor

Each Euro from the Free State of Thuringia invested in the University pro-

duces an economic performance of €2.50 in this very region (excluding

University Hospital Jena). This concluded an independent study published

by the consulting company DIW Econ of the German Institute of Economic

Research in 2017 in its part related to the economic role and significance

of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena for its region.

Jena – das deutsche Silicon Valley

Eine gemeinsame Untersuchung der Creditreform Wirtschaftsforschung

und des Zentrums für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung (ZEW) ergab,

dass zwischen 2012 und 2016 in keiner anderen deutschen Region mehr

Hightech-Unternehmen gegründet wurden (in Relation zu sämtlichen

Newcomern) als in Jena (16,3 Prozent, Bundesdurchschnitt: 7,3 Prozent).

Jena—the German Silicon Valley

According to a joint study published by Creditreform and the Centre for

European Economic Research (ZEW), the Jena region had the highest rate

of newly founded high-tech companies (in relation to all newcomers)

among the German regions between 2012 and 2016, i.e. 16.3% (German

average: 7.3%).

Jena wieder Spitzenreiter Ostdeutschlands

Jena wird auch 2017 im Städteranking der Wirtschaftswoche beim Thema

Zukunft seinem Ruf als Leuchtturm im Osten gerecht. Als einzige ostdeut-

sche Kommune unter den Top Ten erreicht sie Platz 7 beim Zukunftsindex

und kann im Vergleich zum Vorjahr (Rang 9) sogar noch einmal zulegen.

Die Saalestadt punktet hier vor allem mit der höchsten Dichte an For-

schungsinstituten und ihrer sehr hohen Akademikerquote.

Jena in the lead in the Eastern part of Germany again

According to the city ranking issued by the German weekly business news

magazine Wirtschaftswoche, Jena lived up to its reputation as the jewel of

the crown in the Eastern part of Germany regarding its prospects. Being the

only municipality in the Eastern part of Germany among the top ten, Jena

was ranked seventh regarding the »future index« and even improved its

position in comparison to the previous year (ranked ninth). In particular, the

city on the river Saale convinced with the highest density of research insti-

tutes and its high percentage of academics.

Weiterhin beste Qualität am Universitätsklinikum

Das Universitätsklinikum Jena gehört erneut zu den besten Kliniken in

Deutschland. In der Klinikliste 2018 des Nachrichtenmagazins »Focus«

belegt es deutschlandweit Platz 13. Für den Vergleich wurden rund

1.400 Krankenhäuser bewertet. Auf der Landesliste Thüringen liegt das

Jenaer Uniklinikum wie in den Vorjahren auf dem ersten Platz.

University Hospital Jena maintains its top quality

The University Hospital Jena is among the best hospitals in Germany. On

the list of the German news magazine Focus, the University Hospital is

placed thirteenth among 1,400 German hospitals. Among the Thuringian

hospitals, the University Hospital Jena holds its pole position.
