online content with payment. As the mobile

usage is constantly increasing the traditional

ways of how content is being created and also

being used is changing.

• The majority of content is more and more

consumed on mobile devices.

• Up-to-date content is often created interactively

on mobile devices to get in touch with the fans or

the target group.

nexxCANVAS and would like to create special mobile content to get in deeper touch with his audience. The

traditional payment methods (like SVOD) are too complicated for such a spontaneous consumption.

RESULTS

• The combination of nexx.tv solutions and Laterpay allows to monetize content very time-to-market and

in a target-group-relevant way. The user decides to watch the video in this moment without typing any

bank information. This is done later in a separate step.

• It enables content creators to publish more interesting and personal content as the content can be

uploaded on the mobile device, easily be transcoded in the nexx.tv CMS and easily be played out on

the nexxCANVAS frontend.

• The payment revenue is about to increase as this is a very usability friendly TVOD case and no

subscription has to be paid just to consume single videos.
