Das Intersec Forum 2016 tagt parallel zur Light + Building. Zwei hochkarätige Konferenztage, am heutigen Montag und am Dienstag bieten Vorträge und Diskussionsforen, moderiert von dem Physiker Ranga Yogeshwar. Heute, ab 16:40 Uhr, wird Sascha Lobo mit einem Impulsvortrag zum Thema „Dateneigentum, Datensicherheit und der Faktor Mensch“ eine Diskussionsrunde starten, unter anderen mit Dr. Klaus Mittelbach, Vorsitzender der Geschäftsführung des ZVEI.

The Intersec Forum: a conference for networked securityThe 2016 Intersec Forum is being held concurrently with Light + Building. The two-day confer-ence starts today and continues tomorrow. It promises plenty of interesting presentations and panel discussions, hosted by physicist Ranga Yogeshwar. Today from 4.40 pm Sascha Lobo will give a talk on “Data ownership, data security and the ‘human factor’” followed by a discussion featuring, among others, Dr. Klaus Mittelbach, Chairman of the Management Board of ZVEI.

Im vergangen Jahr nahm Lightcycle, Deutsch-lands größtes Rücknahmesystem für Altlam-pen- und leuchten, 7.350 Tonnen alte Lampen zurück und führte diese dem fach-gerechten Recycling zu. Aneinander gereiht würde diese Anzahl einmal um die Erde rei-chen. Über die Abholanordnungen der stif-tung ear (elektro-altgeräte register) nahm Lightcycle 2.173 Tonnen für seine Mitglieder zurück. Die ergänzende Lightcycle Sammlung an den zusätzlichen Abgabestellen machte den Großteil der Rücknahmemenge mit 5.177 Tonnen aus. „Unser Dank gilt unseren Partnern, aber insbesondere auch den Her-stellern, die diese Leistung erst möglich machten. Altlampen können bei fachgerechter Entsor-gung zu mehr als 90 Prozent verwertet werden, was zum Umweltschutz und zur Ressourcen-schonung beiträgt“, sagt Stephan Riemann (Bild), Geschäftsführer von Lightcycle.

If they were all laid end to end they would go once round the earth. Via the take-back arrangements of the EAR Foundation (elektro-altgeräte register), Lightcycle collected 2,173 tonnes from its members. The Lightcycle collections at the various collection points made up the majority at 5,177 tonnes. “Our thanks go to our partners, but in particular to the manufacturers who have made all this possible in the first

Seoul Semiconductor und LumitechDer koreanische LED-Komponentenhersteller Seoul Semiconductor und das österreichische Unternehmen Lumitech haben eine gemeinsame Lizenzvereinbarung über die Nutzung von Patenten der PI-LED Technologie unterzeichnet. PI-LED ist nach Aus-sage von Lumitech eine der weltweit führenden Technologien für den Zukunftsmarkt Human Centric Lighting. Sie vereint sowohl veränder-liches Weißlicht von 2.500 bis 7.000 K als auch RGB Farben in einer Lichtquelle, mit einer konstanten, hocheffizienten Lichtqualität sowie mit einer perfekten Farbwiedergabe.

Seoul Semiconductor and LumitechKorean LED component manufacturer Seoul Semiconductor and the Austrian company Lumitech have signed a licensing agreement for the use of PILED technology. Lumitech is granting Seoul Semiconductors the right to offer components based on pioneering PI-LED technology worldwide. According to a state-ment by Lumitech, PI-LED is one of the leading technologies for the future market of human centric lighting. It combines both tunable white from 2,500 to 7,000 K and RGB colours in a light source with constant highly efficient qual-ity of light and perfect colour rendering.

Zumtobel is boosting its outdoor portfolioThe focus is on the individual needs of people in the urban environment. The urban space places many different demands on lighting systems after dark. There are façades to illuminate as visual highlights, streets and paths to be lit for greater safety and easier navigation, and squares to be made more attractive through light. In developing the new Nightsight LED outdoor lighting system, Zumtobel worked closely with designers at the Ben van Berkels UNStudio. The Nightsight range includes all the lighting equipment needed to provide uniform illumination for both vertical and horizontal sur-faces and set specific accents. Light is directed with great precision to eliminate glare and avoid scattered light. Nightsight is being unveiled for the first time at the fair.

Philips and Cisco open up the market for office lighting Philips, a market leader in the lighting indus-try, and Cisco, a leading international IT supplier, recently announced a worldwide strategic alliance that will set new stand-ards. This applies in particular to greater energy savings, better building efficiency and increased employee productivity. This is made possible by the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) in modern offices. The aim of the alliance between the two companies is to combine modern Philips LED lighting systems with the advanced IT network technology of Cisco in order to open up the worldwide office market together. Office employees can adapt the LED workplace lighting to suit their needs and the tasks they have to perform and make their work environment more pleasant. Das Gebäudeensemble ist mit dem Zertifikat „Silber“ der Deutschen Gesellschaft für nachhaltiges Bauen (DGNB) vorzertifiziert. Nicht nur Funktionalität und nutzungsgerechte Flächen stehen im Blickpunkt, sondern ebenso ein optimiertes Arbeitsumfeld und damit das Wohlbefinden der Mieter. Dazu trägt sowohl die Lichtlösung, die konsequent auf LEDLeuchten von Zumtobel basiert, als auch das umfassende Serviceangebot, unter anderem mit Kindertagesstätte und FitnessCenter, erheblich bei. Nun präsentiert sich der St Martin Tower mit einer gelungenen und vor allem durchgängigen LEDLichtlösung, eben auch in der Kita, dem FitnessCenter, den diversen Nebenräumen oder zum Beispiel in der Tiefgarage.

A sparkling jewel for the Frankfurt skylineSt Martin Tower is located in Franklinstrasse on the Katharinen roundabout, formerly the Opel roundabout, directly next to the Radisson Blu hotel. It is splendid addition to Frankfurt’s cityscape, not only for its architecture but also for its lighting system. LED luminaires from Zumtobel create the right light for working and an inspiring atmosphere. Architects msm meyer schmitz-morkramer designed this office complex with a tower and a U-shaped wing grouped around a spacious central plaza. The complex has already been precertified with a “Silver” cer-tificate from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). Functionality and task-oriented spaces now share equal weighting with optimised working environments and the associated wellbeing of the people who use the building. The lighting solution, designed by Zumtobel in cooperation with architects and based on LED luminaires from Zumtobel, together with the com-prehensive range of services on offer, including child care and a fitness centre, make a signifi-cant contribution to achieving these objectives. Installation was completed in close cooperation with K. Dörflinger Gesellschaft für Elektro planung mbH & Co. KG from Allendorf, and EGT Gebäudetechnik GmbH from Triberg. St Martin Tower has an impressive LED-based lighting system throughout the entire building, including the day nursery, fitness centre, various ancillary rooms and even the underground garage.

The result is a new luminaire module system. One of the features of this concept is daylight-dynamic control with Tunable White tech-nology. Highlight des London Design Festivals

„A Bullet from a Shooting Star” war das größte Outdoor Projekt des London Design Festivals. Der auf den Kopf gestellte Hochspannungsmast wurde mit Traxon LEDLeuchten und einer dynamischen Lichtsteuerung auffällig in Szene gesetzt. Highlight from the London Design Festival“A Bullet from a Shooting Star” was the larg-est outdoor project at the London Design Festi-val. The upside down electricity pylon was bathed in eye-catching light using Traxon LED luminaires and dynamic lighting control. Washer Allegro LED luminaires illuminated the inside of the pylon, and the e:cue Butler XT2 light management system was used for dynamic colour control. Every evening from dusk until dawn, visitors could experience a colourful display of light.

LED Platine von EnerDie Ener disc ist eine LED Platine für die Umrüstung bestehender Leuchten. Mit direkter 230V AC Technik benötigt die Platine kein Vorschaltgerät. Mit Ihrem Loch in der Mitte kann sie direkt auf die im Leuchtenbau traditionelle M10 Spindel montiert werden. Für die rasche Umrüstung von Leuchten mit Blechboden gibt es eine Variante mit Magnetfüßen.

An LED board from EnerEner disc is an LED board for upgrading existing luminaires. The board is designed to take a direct 230V AC current so no ballast is needed. With its centered hole the disc can be easily strung onto the threaded tube of a common M10 luminaire spindle. A version with magnetic feet is available for rapid upgrades to luminaires with metal bases. The Ener disc differs from all standard retrofit lamps in terms of its quality.

Die vakuumversiegelten Ledisong™ LEDGlühlampen sind mit Gas mit niedrigem Viskositätskoeffizienten und exzellenter Wärmeleitfähigkeit gefüllt.
