3The Satellite unit can be also be installed against the wall with

either side or bottom air return.

Just remove panel and filter and re-locate them as required.

The Carrier Satellite needs no accessories to install the ducts.

The unit incorporates a flange to accept also rectangular

ducts.

The Carrier Satellite Carrier offers installers various

arrangement options.

But thats not all. The Carrier Satellite can also be installed in

a corridor. In addition to front air supply, two pre-punched

knockout holes allow side connection of the air duct.

The unit is also provided with an octopus panel with pre-pun-

ched knockout holes for connection of circular ducts. With side

air supply this panel is used to close off the front.

9Simple maintenanceA pre-punched 150 mm wide rectangular fresh air intake holeis provided at the side for both frame sizes. Filter replacement from below is easy, and motor and fan canbe accessed by simply by removing the bottom panel.

The control box is fitted to the outdoor unit. It includesa 1.5-m cable allowing the installer to remove it and position

it in a more convenient place, if required.

a 20-mm flexible hose was inserted at the rear of the unit to

allow condensate drainage as required.

Thanks to its high efficiency only four models cover the wideapplication requirements from 1.5 kW to 13 kW.

The Carrier XPower Satellite also sets new standards for low noise levels in this class. The units are exceptionally quiet and efficient,

the ideal choice for optimal comfort conditions.

The new XPower models are available from June 2005

The Carrier Satellite Experience is the benchmark unit for low noise levels in its class.
