lCAMPING HUTTOPIA,CAMP IN THE HEART OF NATURE...—

When we dreamed up Huttopia in 1999, we were simply looking to offer holidays in the midst of nature, in harmony with the environment, where we would have liked to camp with our families.We began by developing our first «campsite for camping» on the edge of a lake in the Alps. We named it Camping Indigo because Huttopia was a concept that still needed time to mature. We continued to develop campsites throughout France under the name Camping Indigo, and at the same time we launched Huttopia, creating new destinations.

But in our minds, there has always been only one form of real camping: a campsite situated in a beautiful haven of nature where you can set up your tent or come and stay with your caravan; where you can rent a lovely wood and canvas lodge with family or friends; a campsite where you can set out to discover a beautiful region, and where the services bring a real level of comfort; a campsite where there aren’t too many holiday rentals, and where you can enjoy activities, or simply read a book and relax. In short, a concept far from the campsites where you find yourself stuck between row after row of mobile homes, having to put up with noisy entertainment activities.

As we walked about and camped on our Indigo and Huttopia sites, we came to realize that they all share this same philosophy, based on nature, freedom and authenticity. So we decided to give them all one name. The name of our camping dream, where you can disconnect from daily life and reconnect with nature: Huttopia!

The Central LodgeOpen throughout the season, the central lodge is the ideal place for getting together, relaxing, playing games, chatting, reading, and even warming up by the wood stove when the cooler weather arrives. There is also a library area with books on the region for you to consult on site and novels for you to borrow,a games and television area, comfortable sofas, and an espresso machine. The central lodge is open throughout the day.

For hire so you can travel light!Bikes, barbecues, fridges, sheets, and towels are all available for you to hire.Some of these items need to be reserved when you book your stay.

Laundry roomA washing machine and dryer are available on site.

The Pizza-Grill and Snack Wagon We have chosen to offer a simple, summer service for all the family: pizzas, grilled meat, chips, burgers, fresh salads, ice creams, and a few desserts... We have also put together a selection of our favourite French wines. Make the most of the beautiful wooden terrace to have a drink or a coffee and enjoy the surrounding nature.

The grocery cornerYou will find all the basics as well as a selection of regional specialties in our grocery area. If you have forgotten your toothbrush, need matches to light a candle, or would like jam for breakfast... it’s all there!
