1. RULES1.1. The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).1.2. RRS Appendix P, Special Procedures for Rule 42, will apply.1.3. For Final Races, ISAF Addendum Q, Umpired Fleet Racing, available on the ISAF website (www.sailing.org), will apply

and changes a number of racing rules. The version that is current when the regatta begins will appear in full in the Sailing Instructions.

1.4. Not applicable.1.5. No national authority prescription will apply.1.6. If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence.

2. ADVERTISING AND BOW NUMBERS2.1. Boats may be required to display bow numbers and advertising chosen and supplied by the Organising Authority.2.2. Competitors aboard the boats ranked first, second and third in the series at the beginning of each day, shall wear yellow,

blue and red bibs respectively while racing. The bibs will be provided by the Organising Authority.

3. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY3.1. Competitors and coaches shall enter by completing the online entry form on the event website www.kieler-woche.com and

paying the required fees. Entries must be received no later than 01 June 2013 to qualify for the Early Entry Fee. Entry in the event is not final until registration is completed.

3.2. ISAF Eligibility shall apply. Each athlete shall be registered as an ISAF Sailor on the ISAF website: www.sailing.org/isafsailor3.3. Olympic gender requirements will apply for each Olympic event. Men and mixed teams are not eligible to compete in

women’s events. Women are not eligible to compete in men’s events.3.4. Competitors under 18 years of age shall present a signed and completed parent (or guardian) consent and declaration form

at registration. The forms are available for download on the event website www.kieler-woche.com.3.5. For the Paralympic events, only competitors or teams that meet Paralympic Eligibility criteria will be scored for EUROSAF

Champions Sailing Cup points. Other teams are eligible to compete in each event.3.6. The regatta is open to boats competing in events chosen for the 2016 Olympic Sailing Competition and the 2016 Paralympic

Sailing Competition.

3.7. The Organising Authority may cancel an event if the minimum number of entries have not been received by midnight (local time), 01 June 2013. Competitors will be notified of cancelled events by email and posting on the event website. The entry fees for cancelled events will be refunded.

4. IFDS FUNCTIONAL CLASSIFICATION4.1. Disabled sailors shall have valid International Classification under the IFDS Functional Classification System.4.2. Protests regarding classification may be filed not later than “first appearance.” However, protests will not be decided at the

regatta.

5. FEES5.1. Fees are stated in Euro and include any local taxes. Entries received not later than 01 June 2013 will qualify for the Early

Entry Fee.

5.2. Not applicable.5.3. All boats sailing in splitted fleets shall pay a fee of 5,00 € for the coloured streamers for group identifications as provided by

the Check-In. The fee will be refunded on return.

6. FORMAT6.1. For Olympic events,6.1.1. The regatta will consist of a Qualifying Series (two days with 3 or 4 races per day), a Fleet Racing Series (two days with 3

or 4 races per day) and a Final Race or Races.6.1.2. If an event has a large number of entries, the Qualifying Series fleet and the Fleet Racing Series fleet may be divided into

groups.6.1.3. There will be ONE Race on the Final Day in ALL events except for 49er and 49erFX for which there will be THREE races.6.2. For Paralympic events, the regatta will consist of a single series.6.3. Other formats may be used as authorised by the EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup Steering Committee.

7. SCHEDULE7.1. Registration for competitors, coaches and team leaders is scheduled to begin 1400 hrs on 21 June at Olympic Center

Kiel-Schilksee.7.2. The first briefing for coaches and team leaders is scheduled for 0900 hrs on 22 June.7.3. Competitors welcome and briefing is scheduled for 0930 hrs on 22 June.7.4. The warning signal for the first race will be not earlier than 1200 hrs on 22 June.7.5. The schedule of races including Final Races, if any, and dates of racing is as follows:

7.6. On the last day of racing, no warning signal will be made after 1400 hrs.7.7. The Price Giving Ceremoney is scheduled to begin 1630 hrs on 26 June.

8. EQUIPMENT INSPECTION8.1. Each boat shall have a valid measurement certificate (if required by class rules). Boats shall use the approved Nationality

Code Letters on their sails as required by the RRS. 8.2. Competitors shall produce evidence of membership of the appropriate class association at the time of registration as may

be required by the Organising Authority.8.3. Not applicable.8.4. Boats may be subject to inspection at any time during the event. The procedures for inspections will be specified in the

Sailing Instructions or Equipment Inspection Regulations (EIR).8.5. The equipment limitations as specified in the class rules shall apply.

9. SAILING INSTRUCTIONSThe Sailing Instructions will be available beginning 21 June at registration. Other documents governing the event will be published with the Sailing Instructions and on the website.

10. VENUE10.1. The regatta will be at Kiel-Schilksee Olympic Center. Addendum B shows the location of the regatta harbour.10.2. The racing area will be Kiel Bay, Kiel-Schilksee, Germany. Addendum A shows the location of the course areas.

11. THE COURSESThe courses will be Windward/Leeward or Trapezoid except that any other courses adopted by ISAF for the 2016 Olympic Sailing Competition or approved by the Champions Sailing Cup Steering Committee may also be used.

12. PENALTY SYSTEMFor the Men’s Skiff, Women’s Skiff, Mixed Two Person Multihull and Paralympic One Person Keelboat events, RRS 44.1 and RRS P2.1 are changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty.

13. INTERNATIONAL JURYAn International Jury will be appointed in accordance with RRS 91(b). Its decision will be final as provided in RSS 70.5.

14. SCORING14.1. The Low Point System of RRS Appendix A will apply.14.2. For the Qualifying and Fleet Racing Series, or for the Paralympic classes with a single series, a total of at least 3 races are

required to be completed to constitute a regatta. When 5 or more races have been completed, a boat‘s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.

14.3. The top SIX boats overall after the Fleet Racing Series in the Olympic classes but not including 49er and 49erFX will carry forward their overall position to the Final Race which shall be added to their Final Race position to give the overall Event score.

14.4. The top EIGHT boats overall after the Fleet Racing Series in the 49er and 49erFX classes will carry forward their overall position to the Final Race which shall be added to their THREE Final Races positions to give the overall Event score.

14.5. Ties in the Final Race series will be decided on the Final Race or Races scores. This changes RRS Appendix A8 Regatta scoring system.

C 3 PRIZES AND EUROSAF CHAMPIONS SAILING CUP RANKING POINTSC3.1 EUROSAF may award prizes for the Champions Sailing Cup competition, in a format and number to be determined.C3.2 The date, time and location of the of the EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup prize giving, if any, will be announced by

EUROSAF.C3.3 A boat placing first, second or third in this regatta will forfeit their EUROSAF European Sailing Cup Rankings points if they

fail to attend the prize giving ceremony without prior written permission from the Organising Authority.

1. REGELN1.1. Die Veranstaltung wird nach den aktuellen Regeln,

wie in den Wettfahrtregeln Segeln (WR) definiert, gesegelt.

1.2. Der Anhang P, Sofortstrafen für Regelverletzungen nach RRS Regel 42, kommt bei Flottenrennen zur Anwendung.

1.3. Die Vorschriften des nationalen Verbandes finden kei-ne Anwendung.

1.4. Bei unterschiedlichen Interpretationen ist der engli-sche Text maßgebend.

1.5. Jury-Hearings können nach dem Arbitration System verhandelt werden.

2. WERBUNG UND BUGNUMMERN2.1. Boote können aufgefordert werden, Bugnummern und

Werbung zu zeigen. Dieses wird durch den Veranstal-ter bereitgestellt.

2.2. Während der Rennen müssen die ab Tagesbeginn erst-, zweit- und drittplatzierten Teilnehmer entspre-chend gelbe, blaue oder rote Trikots tragen. Die Tri-kots werden vom Veranstalter gestellt.

3. ZULASSUNGSKODEX UND MELDUNG3.1. Die Wettfahrten sind für die in Punkt 5 genannten

Klassen offen ausgeschrieben.3.2. Teilnehmer und Trainer werden aufgefordert sich über

das Onlinemeldeformular auf www.kieler-woche.de anzumelden und das entsprechende Meldegeld zu bezahlen. Meldungen müssen bis zum 01. Juni 2013 eintreffen, um die „Early Entry Fee“ zu sichern.

3.3. Es gilt der ISAF Zulassungskodex.3.4. Minderjährige Teilnehmer unter 18 Jahren müssen

einevon ihren Eltern (Vormund) unterzeichnete Ein-verständniserklärung vorlegen. Die Vorlagen stehen zum Herunterladen auf www.kieler-woche.de zur Verfügung.

3.5. Die minimale Anzahl der Meldung je Klasse beträgt 20 Boote.

3.6. 420er Klasse: Die Meldebeschränkung für deutsche Segler beträgt 100 Meldungen. Die ersten 2/3 der in der deutschen Rangliste positionierten Steuerleute sind berechtigt zu melden. Es gilt die Rangliste zum Zeitpunkt des Meldeschlusses. Im Zweifel entscheidet die Deutsche 420er Klassenvereinigung.

3.7. Für die Klasse Laser 4.7 zählt diese Veranstaltung zur Europa Cup Serie.

5. MELDEGELDER5.1. Die Meldegelder sind in Euro ausgewiesen. Meldun-

gen, die bis zum 01. Juni 2013 eingehen, haben das in der Spalte „Early Entry Fee“ ausgewiesene Meldegeld.

5.2. Die Meldegelder werden nicht rückerstattet.

7.3. The warning signal for the first race will be no earlier than 1300 hrs on Thursday, 27 June 2012.

7.4. On the last day of racing, no warning signal will be made after 1400 hrs.

5.3. Alle Boote, die in ihrer Klasse in Gruppen segeln, müssen eine Gebühr in Höhe von 5,00 € zahlen, um farbige Gruppenfähnchen vom Check-In in Empfang zu nehmen. Diese Gebühr wird bei Rückgabe zurück erstattet.

6. FORMATFür den Fall großer Meldezahlen kann der Veranstalter die Flotte in Gruppen teilen. In Gruppen geteilte Flotten segeln eine Qualifikations- und Finalserie.

7. ZEITPLAN7.1. Teilnehmer, Coaches und Teamleiter können sich

Mittwoch, 26. Juni 2013 ab 09:00 Uhr im Check-In registrieren.

7.2. Die erste Steuermannsbesprechung für Teilnehmer, Trainer und Gruppenleiter findet am Donnerstag, 27. Juni 2013 um 10:30 Uhr im Olympiazentrum Kiel-Schilksee statt.

7.3. Das Ankündigungssignal für die erste Wettfahrt am Donnerstag, 27. Juni 2013 wird nicht vor 13:00 Uhr gegeben.

7.4. Am letzten Wettfahrttag wird kein Ankündigungssignal nach 14:00 Uhr gegeben.

11. COURSESThe courses will be defined in the Sailing Instructions.

12. PENALTY SYSTEMFor the classes 29er, Folkeboot, Formula 18, H-Boot, Hobie 16, J/24 and Musto Performance Skiff RRS 44.1 is ch-anged so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty.

13. INTERNATIONAL JURYAn International Jury will be appointed in accordance with RRS 91(b). Its decisions will be final as provided in RRS 70.5.

14. SCORING14.1. The Low Point System of RRS Appendix A will apply.

14.2. A minimum of three races is required to be completed to constitute a series.

14.3. If a boat placed first, second or third in the regatta failed to attend the Prize-Giving-Ceremony without prior writ-ten permission from the Organizing Authority, it will for-feit its claim on prizes and trophies. The boat will not be listed on any result list, and a report will be sent to ISAF. Other boats points and places remain unchanged.

11. KURSEDie Kurse werden in den Segelanweisungen festgelegt.

12. STRAFSYSTEMFür die Klassen 29er, Folkeboot, Formula 18, H-Boot, Hobie 16, J/24 und Musto Performance Skiff wird die WR 44.1 so geändert, dass die 2-Drehungen-Strafe durch eine 1-Dre-hung-Strafe ersetzt wird.

13. INTERNATIONALE JURYEs wird eine internationale Jury berufen in Übereinstimmung mit WR 91(b). Die Entscheidungen sind endgültig wie in WR 70.5 ausgewiesen.

14. WERTUNGSSYSTEM14.1. Das Low Point System der WR Appendix A wird

angewendet.14.2. Es sind drei Wettfahrten für eine Serie notwendig.

14.3. Boote, die in der Gesamtwertung auf den ersten drei Plätzen liegen und ohne vorherige schriftliche Genehmigung des Veranstalters bei der Siegerehrung nicht anwesend sind, verwirken ihr Anrecht auf die Preise. Sie werden nicht in der offiziellen Ergebnisliste geführt und es erfolgt eine Meldung an die ISAF. Die Plätze und Punkte der anderen Boote werden nicht geändert.

1. RULES1.1. The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in

the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).

1.3. In the event of a conflict between any of the above rules and/or regulations and the Sailing Instructions, the Sailing Instructions shall prevail.

SICHERHEITSKATEGORIEFür alle Rennen (Teile 1 bis 6): Ein Schiffs-UKW-Gerät (tragbare Geräte müssen wasserdicht sein oder eine wasserdichte Hülle haben) soll vorhanden, funktionsfähig und leicht zugänglich sein.Nur für Inshore Rennen (Teile 2, 5 und 6): Wenn Klassenregeln Sicherheitsausrüstung vorschreiben, soll diese mitgeführt werden. 1. REGELN1.1. Die Veranstaltung wird nach den aktuellen Regeln,

3. ZULASSUNGSKODEX UND MELDEGELD3.1. Für alle Wettfahrten gilt:3.1.1. Bei weniger als acht Startern in einer Klasse behält

sich der Veranstalter vor, die Zulassung der Klasse ge-gen Rückerstattung des Meldegeldes zurückzuziehen.

3.1.2. Wenn mehr als acht Boote einer Bootsklasse mel-den und diese vom Veranstalter anerkannt ist, behält sich der Veranstalter vor, diese baugleichen Boote in Einheitsklassen einzuteilen. Mit vorheriger Zustim-mung des Veranstalters darf diese Klasse dann nach

3.4.3. Nur für die Klasse J/80 gilt: Alle Eigner und/oder Steu-erleute müssen Mitglied ihrer nationalen Klassenver-einigung sein. Die Mitgliedsbeiträge müssen bezahlt sein. Jedes Boot muss die “J/80 Eigner Regatta Er-klärung” (Klassenregel Teil III H4) und die “J/80 Crew-gewicht Erklärung” (Klassenregel Teil III H5) beim Check-In abgeben.

3.5. Zulassung und Meldegeld für Kaiserpokal (26. Juni):

3.5.1. Zugelassen sind alle Sieger einer Kiel-Cup Klasse in den Serien Kiel-Cup Alpha und Kiel-Cup Foxtrott.

3.5.2. Meldegeld:Es wird kein zusätzliches Meldegeld erhoben.

3.6. Zulassung und Meldegeld fürSilbernes Band (27.-28. Juni):

3.6.1. Folgende Yachten können für das Silbernes Band melden: Yachten mit ORC-Club- und ORC-Int.-Messbrief. Die Masthöhe der Yacht darf 33 m nicht überschreiten (Brückendurchfahrt!). Weitere ISAF Yacht- oder Kielbootklassen oder vom Veranstalter anerkannte Klassen können die Zulas-sung beim Veranstalter beantragen.

3.6.2. Meldegelder:Die Meldegelder sind in Euro ausgewiesen. Meldun-gen, die bis zum 01. Juni 2013 eingehen, haben das in der Spalte „Early Entry Fee“ ausgewiesene Meldegeld.

3.4.3. J/80 class only: All Owners and/or Helms must be re-gistered as fully paid up members of their NCA. Each boat shall submit the “J/80 Owner Regatta Declarati-on” (Class rule part III H4) and the “J/80 Crew Weight Declaration” (class rule Part III H5) during Check-In.

3.5. Eligibility and Entry Fee forKaiserpokal (26 June):

3.5.1. All winners of a Kiel-Cup class in the Kiel-Cup Foxt-rott and Kiel-Cup Alpha events are eligible to enter the Kaiserpokal Trophy Race.

3.5.2. Entry Fee:There is no additional entry fee for the Kaiserpokal.

4. BOOTE KÖNNEN WIE FOLGT MELDEN UND DAS MELDEGELD BEZAHLEN

Boote sollen nicht später als 01. Juni melden und das genann-te Meldegeld zahlen. Hierzu stehen die folgenden Möglichkei-ten zur Verfügung:4.1. Internet (bevorzugt): Online-Meldungen über das In-

ternet (www.kieler-woche.de) werden bevorzugt. Das offizielle Meldeformular ist zu verwenden und komplett auszufüllen. Der Veranstalter soll ermächtigt werden, die Meldegebühr auf elektronischem Wege einzuzie-hen. Oder

4.2. per Post: Übersenden Sie das komplett ausgefüllte offizielle Meldeformular mit Unterschrift und der Ein-zugsermächtigung für das Meldegeld. Oder

4.3. per Telefax: Telefax-Meldungen werden nur akzeptiert, wenn das offizielle Meldeformular benutzt wird. Der Veranstalter muss zum Einziehen des Meldegeldes ermächtigt werden.

4.4. Andere Meldeformen werden nicht akzeptiert.

9.3.2. The ORC-Int. and ORC-Club boats will be divided into

classes. The recommendations of the DSV apply. The class bands of the DSV apply (www.dsv.org).

9.4. The schedule for crew weighing and measurement checks will be available with the registration.

9.5. The Race Committee may subject boats to random measurement checks. An appointed committee will check the observance of the rules and the safety equipment.

10. SAILING INSTRUCTIONSThe Sailing Instructions will be available at Check-In.

11. COURSESThe courses will be defined in the Sailing Instructions.

12. PENALTY SYSTEMNot applicable.

8.1. KYC = Kieler Yacht-ClubHindenburgufer 70, Kiel-Düsternbrook.Olympic Center = Olympiazentrum, Kiel-Schilksee. Das Regattabüro (im Olympiazentrum) ist danach täg-lich von 08:00 bis 20:00 Uhr geöffnet.

8.2. Boote, die nicht bis eine Stunde vor ihrem ersten Vorbereitungssignal registriert sind, können als DNC gewertet werden.

9. VERMESSUNG UND WIEGEN9.1. Jedes Boot muss einen gültigen Messbrief besitzen.9.2. In Ergänzung der WR 78.2 kann der Messbrief wäh-

rend der Veranstaltung überprüft werden.9.3. Vermessene Boote:9.3.1. ORC-Yachten müssen in Abänderung der WR 78.

gültige ORC-Messbriefe spätestens mit dem Mel-deschluss (Ausschreibung 4) abgegeben wer-den. Dieses ändert WR 78. Der Veranstalter behält sich vor die Meldung anderenfalls nach WR 76.1 zurückzuweisen oder das Meldegeld nach Melde-schluss zu berechnen.

9.3.2. Die ORC-Int. und ORC-Club Boote werden in Start- / bzw. Wertungsgruppen eingeteilt. Die Empfehlungen des DSV werden angewendet. Es gelten die Klassen-grenzen des DSV (www.dsv.org).

9.4. Der Zeitplan für Kontrollvermessungen und Crewwie-gen wird bei der Registrierung festgelegt.

9.5. Die Wettfahrtleitung kann durch Beauftragte Kon-trollvermessungen an Booten vornehmen und die Einhaltung der Regeln und Sicherheitsbestimmungen überprüfen.

10. SEGELANWEISUNGENDie Segelanweisungen werden beim Check-In verfügbar sein.

15. TRAINERBOOTE15.1. Alle Coachboote müssen registriert sein, die gelten-

den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen und Auflagen und die Coachbootregeln der Veranstaltung erfüllen. Der Veranstalter kann Registrierungen zurückweisen und spätere Registrierungen nach eigener Einschätzung zulassen.

15.2. Nur EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup: Alle Coach-boote müssen zu jeder Zeit auf dem Wasser eindeutig sichtbar ihre Buchstaben Nationalcodes ihres ISAF zugehörigen nationalen Verbandes zeigen. Die Min-desthöhe der Zeichen beträgt 200 mm.

15.3. Coachboote mit Teamleitern, Trainer und anderen Personen müssen außerhalb der Bahngebiete sein, in den Boote von dem Vorbereitungssignal der ersten Startgruppe bis alle Boote durch das Ziel gegangen sind, oder die Wettfahrtleitung eine Startverschiebung, einen Gesamtrückruf oder einen Abbruch signalisiert hat.

15.4. Alle Trainer und Begleitpersonen müssen Auftriebs-mittel tragen, die im guten Zustand und in Überein-stimmung mit den freigegeben Spezifikationen der ISAF angeschlossenen nationalen Verbände oder hoheitlichen nationalen Prüforganisationen sind. Der Fahrer muss zu jeder Zeit über den Quick-Stopp mit dem Boot verbunden sein.

16. SCHWIMMWESTENEs wird auf die Grundregel 1.2 der WR verwiesen.

17. LIEGEPLÄTZEBoote sollen den ihnen zugewiesenen Platz an Land oder im Hafen behalten.

18. RESTRIKTIONEN ZUM AUS-DEM-WASSER-HOLEN

Kielboote dürfen während der Veranstaltung nicht aus dem Wasser geholt werden, außer es liegt eine schriftliche Erlaub-nis der Wettfahrtleitung vor.

15. SUPPORT BOATS15.1. All support boats shall be registered by the Organizing

Authority and will be required to comply with local le-gislation and event support boat regulations. The Or-ganizing Authority may refuse registrations and accept later registrations at their sole discretion.

15.2. EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup only: All support boats shall clearly display the three letter national code of their ISAF Member National Authority at all times while afloat. The minimum height for the letters shall be 200 mm.

15.3. Support boats with team leaders, coaches and other support personnel shall stay outside areas where bo-ats are racing from the time of the preparatory signal for the first fleet to start until all boats have finished or the Race Committee signals a postponement, general recall or abandonment.

15.4. All coaches and other support personnel shall wear personal flotation devices which are in good con-dition and are in accordance with the specifications issued or approved by the national authority affiliated to the International Sailing Federation, or a stan-dards organisation, a certification authority, recog-nized for the purpose by its respective government. The driver shall connect all time to the boat by the quick-stop.

16. BUOYANCYAttention is drawn to (RRS) fundamental Rule 1.2.

17. BERTHINGBoats shall be kept in their assigned places in the boat park or harbour.

18. HAUL-OUT RESTRICTIONS

Keel boats shall not be hauled out during the regatta except with and according to the terms of prior written permission of the Race Committee.

19. TAUCHAUSRÜSTUNG UND PLASTIK ABHÄNGUNGEN

Geräte, um unter Wasser zu atmen, und Plastik Abhängungen oder vergleichbare Ausrüstung, sind für Kielboote in dem Zeit-raum vom Vorbereitungssignal der ersten Wettfahrt bis zum Ende der Veranstaltung nicht erlaubt.

20. FUNKKOMMUNIKATIONAußer im Notfall darf ein Boot während einer Wettfahrt weder Funkübertragungen, Textnachrichten oder Mobilfunkgespräche empfangen noch senden. Mit Ausnahme, dass das Equipment durch den Veranstalter ausgegeben wurde.

21. PREISE21.1. Olympische Klassen / EUROSAF Champions Sailing

Cup und Internationale Klassen: Die in der Gesamt-wertung besten drei Boote jeder Klasse erhalten Punktpreise.

21.2. Nur EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup: In jedem Event wird der EUROSAF Nations Cup an die Nation mit dem besten Ergebnis vergeben.

21.3. Offshore: Punktpreise werden nach folgendem Schlüssel vergeben: Je angefangene vier Boote je Klasse einen Preis, jedoch höchstens drei Punktprei-se. Es gibt eine Sonderwertung für den Kaiserpokal.

21.4. Weitere Sonderpreise und Wanderpreise für die ein-zelnen Klassen sind im Programm aufgeführt.

21.5. Jedes teilnehmende Boot erhält als Erinnerungsgabe eine Kieler-Woche-Plakette.

21.6. Preise, die auf der Siegerehrung nicht abgeholt wer-den, fallen an die Veranstalter zurück.

22. MEDIENRECHTE, KAMERAS UND ELEKTRONISCHE AUSRÜSTUNG

22.1. Durch die Teilnahme an der Kieler Woche oder einem EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup übertragen die Teilnehmer den Veranstaltern, ihren Sponsoren und der EUROSAF entschädigungslos automatisch das zeitlich und räumlich unbegrenzte Recht für die Nut-zung von Bild-, Foto-, Fernseh- und Hörfunkmaterial, das während der Veranstaltung von den Athleten ge-macht wurde.

22.2. Teilnehmer können aufgefordert werden, Kameras, Mikrofone oder Positionierungssysteme an Bord zu montieren. Dieses Equipment wird von den Veranstal-tern gestellt.

22.3. Die drei bestplatzierten Teilnehmer sowie einzelne Tagessieger können aufgefordert werden, täglich an einer Pressekonferenzen teilzunehmen.

22.4. Teilnehmer können aufgefordert werden, bei der Re-gatta Interviews zu geben.

19. DIVING EQUIPMENT AND PLASTIC POOLS

Under water breathing apparatus and plastic pools or their equivalent shall not be used around keel boats between the preparatory signal of the first race and the end of the regatta.

20. RADIO COMMUNICATIONExcept in an emergency, a boat shall neither make nor recei-ve radio transmissions, text messages or cellular phone calls while racing. Except using equipment provided by the Organi-zing Authority.

21. PRIZES21.1. Olympic Classes / EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup

and International Classes: Point prizes will be awar-ded to the best three scored boats of each class. The Organising Authority may alter prizes if less than 10 boats are entered in an event.

21.2. EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup only: In each re-gatta the EUROSAF Nations Cup trophy will be awar-ded to the highest scoring nation.

21.3. Offshore: Point prizes will be awarded according to the following scheme: Each group of up to four boats one prize but not more than three prizes. There is a special scoring for the Kaiserpokal.

21.4. Additional special prizes and perpetual trophies for the individual classes will be listed in the program.

21.5. Every participating boat will receive a Kieler-Woche-Plaque.

21.6. Prizes not claimed at the Prize-Giving-Ceremony will remain with the Organizing Authority.

22. MEDIA RIGHTS, CAMERAS AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

22.1. By participating in an event of the Kieler Woche or EUROSAF Champions Sailing Cup competitors auto-matically grant to the Organizing Authority, their spon-sors and EUROSAF the right in perpetuity to make, use and show, from time to time at their discretion, any motion pictures and live, taped or filmed television and other reproductions of the athlete during the period of the competition without compensation.

22.2. Boats may be required to carry cameras, sound equip-ment or positioning equipment as specified and provi-ded by the Organizing Authority.

22.3. The top three competitors as well as the individual race winners may be required to attend a media press conference each day.

22.4. Competitors may be required for interviews at the regatta.

23. HAFTUNGSBEGRENZUNG UNTERWERFUNGSKLAUSEL

23.1. Die Verantwortung für die Entscheidung eines Bootsfüh-rers,an einer Wettfahrt teilzunehmen oder sie fortzusetzen, liegt allein bei ihm, er übernimmt insoweit auch die Ver-antwortung für seine Mannschaft. Der Bootsführer ist für die Eignung und das richtige seemännische Verhalten seiner Crew sowie für die Eignung und den verkehrssiche-ren Zustand des gemeldeten Bootes verantwortlich. Der Veranstalter ist berechtigt, in Fällen höherer Gewalt oder aufgrund behördlicher Anordnungen oder aus Sicher- heitsgründen, Änderungen in der Durchführung der Veran-staltung vorzunehmen oder die Veranstaltung abzusagen. In diesen Fällen besteht keine Schadenersatzverpflichtung des Veranstalters gegenüber dem Teilnehmer, sofern der Veranstalter den Grund für die Änderung oder Absage nicht vorsätzlich oder grob fahrlässig herbeigeführt hat. Eine Haftung des Veranstalters, gleich aus welchem Rechts-grund, für Sach- und Vermögensschäden jeder Art und de-ren Folgen, die dem Teilnehmer während oder im Zusam-menhang mit der Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung durch ein Verhalten des Veranstalters, seiner Vertreter, Erfüllungsge-hilfen oder Beauftragten entstehen, ist bei der Verletzung von Pflichten, die nicht Haupt-/bzw. vertragswesentliche Pflichten (Kardinalpflichten) sind, beschränkt auf Schäden, die vorsätzlich oder grob fahrlässig verursacht wurden. Bei der Verletzung von Kardinalpflichten ist die Haftung des Veranstalters in Fällen einfacher Fahrlässigkeit beschränkt auf vorhersehbare, typischerweise eintretende Schäden. Soweit die Schadenersatzhaftung des Veranstalters aus-geschlossen oder eingeschränkt ist, befreit der Teilnehmer von der persönlichen Schadenersatzhaftung auch die Angestellten - Arbeitnehmer und Mitarbeiter - Vertreter, Er-füllungsgehilfen, Sponsoren und Personen, die Schlepp-, Sicherungs-, oder Bergungsfahrzeuge bereitstellen, führen oder bei deren Einsatz behilflich sind, sowie auch alle anderen Personen, denen im Zusammenhang mit der Durchführung der Veranstaltung ein Auftrag erteilt worden ist. Die gültigen Wettfahrtregeln der ISAF inkl. der Zusätze des DSV, die Ordnungsvorschriften Regattasegeln und das Verbandsrecht des DSV, die Klassenvorschriften sowie die Vorschriften der Ausschreibung und Segelanweisung sind ein-zuhalten und werden ausdrücklich anerkannt.

23.2. Es gilt das Recht der Bundesrepublik Deutschland.

24. VERSICHERUNGJedes teilnehmende Boot muss eine gültige Haftpflichtversi-cherung abgeschlossen haben, die mindestens Schäden im Wert von 3.000.000 € deckt.

23. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY COGNOVITS CLAUSE

23.1. The responsibility for the decision to participate in a race or to continue with it is solely with the skipper; to that extent the skipper also accepts full responsi-bility for the crew. The skipper is responsible for the qualification and the correct nautical conduct of the crew as well as for the suitability and the transport-sa-fe condition of the registered boat. In cases of Force Majeure or on grounds of administrative orders or for safety reasons, the organizer is entitled to make changes in the realization of the event or to cancel the event. This does not constitute any liability by the organizer towards the participant, if the reasons for the changes or the cancellation do not result from a wilful or grossly negligent behaviour of the organizer. In case of a violation of obligations that do not consti-tute primary or material contractual duties (cardinal ob-ligations), the liability of the organizer for financial and property damages incurred by the participant during or in connection with the participation in the event and resulting from a conduct of the organizer, its represen-tatives, servants or agents, is restricted to damages that were caused wilfully or grossly negligent. When a violation of cardinal obligations occurs due to minor negligence, the liability of the organizer is limited to foreseeable, typical damages. To the extent that the liability for damages of the organizer is excluded or re-stricted, the participant also relieves the staff - emplo-yees and representatives, agents, servants, sponsors and individuals who provide or drive salvage, safety or rescue vessels or assist with their use -from the in-dividual liability for damages, as well as also all other individuals who were instructed to act in connection with the realization of the event. The effective racing rules of the ISAF, the administrative regulations regat-ta-sailing and the articles of association of the DSV, the class rules as well as the regulations of the invitati-on to the competition and the sailing instructions are to be complied with and are expressly recognized.

23.2. The German law shall prevail.

24. INSURANCEEach participating boat shall be insured with valid (and for the racing area suitable) third-party liability insurance with a mini-mum cover of 3,000,000 € per event or the equivalent.

25.2. Klassen- und Stegfeste sowie private Partys im Ha-fenvorfeld während der Veranstaltung sind vor Beginn der Veranstaltung beim Veranstalter anzumelden und bedürfen dessen Genehmigung.

25.3. Organisation:Für nicht-olympische Teilnehmer des internatio-nalen Teils: Ein Einlass der Teilnehmerboote und Coachboote in den Hafen Kiel-Schilksee ist vor Mittwoch, 26. Juni 2013 ca. 08:00 Uhr, nicht mög-lich. Wegen der logistischen Überschneidung der Teile 1 und 2 kann am Mittwoch die Einfahrt zum Hafengelände vorübergehend geschlossen wer-den. Die Fahrzeuge werden dann auf den Parkplatz “Tempest” umgeleitet.

25.4. Verkehrsregelungen: Während der Kieler Woche gelten veränderte Ver-kehrsregelungen im Olympiazentrum Kiel-Schilks-ee. Alle Teilnehmer werden dringend gebeten, bei Ankunft die Verkehrsschilder zu beachten und den Anordnungen der Polizei und der im Auftrag der Ver-anstalter tätigen Ordner kooperativ zu folgen. Weitere Richtlinien erhalten die Teilnehmer bei Einfahrt in das Hafenvorfeld.

25.4.2. Kurzzeitiger Zugang zum Hafengelände: Eine tem-poräre Einfahrt in das Hafengelände ist nach Hinter-legung einer Kaution in Höhe von 50 € mit Gültigkeit von einer Stunde möglich. Sie wird nach rechtzeitigem Verlassen des Hafenvorfeldes an der Ausfahrt erstat-tet.

25.5. Parken: In der Nähe des Olympiazentrums Kiel-Schilksee sind ausreichend Parkmöglich-keiten für Fahrzeuge vorhanden. Folgen Sie bitten den Verkehrszeichen zu den Parklätzen. Das Parken an der Fördestraße ist verboten. Fahrzeu-ge werden abgeschleppt!

25.2. Class and private parties during the event in the har-bour area must have the permission of the Organizing Authority. Applications shall be made prior to the event.

25.3. Organisation:For non-Olympic participants arriving for the international part: Competitor and coach boats could not enter theKiel-Schilksee harbour before Wednesday, 26 June 2013 approx. 0800 hrs. Due to the logistic overlap of part 1 and 2, the entrance to the harbour area may be temporarily closed on Wednesday. Vehicles will then be diverted to the parking area “Tempest” Schilkseer Straße.

25.4. Traffic regulations:During the Kieler Woche an altered traffic regulation will apply in the Kiel-Schilksee Olympic Centre area. All participants are urgently requested to observe the traffic signs when approaching Kiel-Schilksee and to cooperate with the police and the Organizing Authority. Further instructions will be given at the entrance to the harbour area.

25.4.2. Temporary Access to the Marina: You may enter tem-porarily the marina by paying a deposit of 50 € valid for one hour. The deposit will be returned at the exit after having left the harbour area on time.

25.5. Parking: Sufficient parking slots for cars are available near the Kiel-Schilksee Olympic Sailing Centre. Plea-se follow the road signs to the public parking areas. Parking alongside Fördestraße is forbidden and cars will be town away.

25.6. Kranbenutzung: Kielboote, die auf dem Landwege an-reisen, können von den im Olympiahafen Kiel-Schilk-see vorhandenen Kränen mit eigenem Geschirr zu Wasser gebracht und wieder an Land genommen werden. 1x Zu Wasser und 1x An Land ist im Melde-geld enthalten.

25.9. Die Veranstalter weisen darauf hin, dass das Führen von Schlauch- oder sonstigen Motorbooten den Sport-bootführerschein See - bei Ausländern den entspre-chenden Führerschein ihres Heimatstaates - besitzen müssen.

25.10. Die gesetzliche Höchstgeschwindigkeit in der Stran-der Bucht beträgt 10 kn.

25.6. Cranes: Keelboats arriving by trailer may be launched and hauled out with their own connection wire by the cranes in the Kiel-Schilksee Olympic Centre only. Du-ring the event a craning fee for one launching and one haul-out is covered with the Entry Fee.

25.8. Boats may also stay or be craned in the harbour of Strande. Arising fees have to be paid by the owners and will not be refunded by the Organizing Authority.

25.9. The Organizing Authority draw your attention to the fact that the responsible drivers of rubber- or other motorboats have to have the German “Sportboot-führerschein See” or an equivalent motorboat driver license of his home country.

25.10. The legal speed limit in Strande Bay is 10 knots.
