Mit zahlreichen Einzelmaßnahmen konnten wir in den letzten Jahren eine Einsparung von fast 17 % beim produktionsspezifischen Energieverbrauch realisieren. Zukünftig wollen wir, mit dem Ziel die Umweltauswirkungen weiter zu reduzieren, diese Bestrebungen fortsetzen.
A responsible and sustainable handling of resources is an integral part of our company. Since 2012, we have been a member of the Climate Protection Coalition (KlimaschutzUnternehmen e.V.).
In the last years, we were able to realize a saving of almost 17 % on production specific energy consumption with numerous individual measures. Our target for the future is to continue with these efforts to further reduce the negative environmental impacts.

Mit dem CPCProzess erreicht KSM Castings optimale mechanische Eigenschaften für gegossene AluminiumFahrwerksbauteile. Dieser Prozess ist für die Serienproduktion von Millionen Sicherheitsbauteilen pro Jahr an mehreren Standorten der Gruppe installiert.
Die Entwicklung einer Cufreien Legierung auf Basis des AlSiMgSystems ermöglicht eine nochmalige Gewichtsreduzierung mit erhöhter Dehngrenze. Nach intensiver Entwicklungsarbeit ist die Legierung TENSAL® im Serieneinsatz.
With the CPC process, KSM reaches optimal mechanical properties for cast aluminum components and establishes this technology for the mass production of millions of knuckles per year.
The development of a Cu free alloy based on the AlSiMg system results in a further weight reduction in combination with an increase of yield strength. After intensive engineering work, this new TENSAL® alloy is applied for mass production.
