MAN Nutzfahrzeuge Gruppe is the biggest company of the MAN Group,

and a top-ranking international supplier of commercial vehicles and

individually for customers. MAN Nutzfahrzeuge manufactures trucks in

weight categories from 7.49 to 44 tonnes, heavy-duty special-purpose

vehicles of up to 250 tonnes gross vehicle weight, bus chassis, city and

intercity buses and tourist coaches plus highly effi cient diesel and natural

gas engines. As one of the world‘s leading manufacturers, we make an

important contribution to the continued improvement of transport

effi ciency. This is why MAN Nutzfahrzeuge has continually increased its

investments in research and development, in order to make trucks and

buses more environmentally friendly and to utilise energy more effi ciently

in the production and assembly of its vehicles.

The diesel engine, the brilliant invention developed at MAN by Rudolf Diesel

between 1893 and 1897, has proved to be an engine of progress. It was the

Trucks

TGX/TGS: transport efficiency to the power of two. With sophisticated aerody-

namics, consistent lightweight construction and a power-saving drive train,

TGS and TGX are optimum when it comes to economy. Superior perfor-

mance from 18 through 50 tonnes.

Special-purpose vehicles: heavy-haul tractors up to 250 tonnes gross train

weight, cross-country trucks plus construction-site, municipal and fire-fighting

vehicles of every kind. MAN mobilizes efficient power and performance.

TGL: a lightweight and still a truck in its own right. The TGL demonstrates

high versatility and efficiency in its 7.49 through 12 tonnes class. Satisfies

Euro 5 and EEV without additives.

TGM: efficiency in a class of its own. Weighing in at 12 through 26 tonnes,

the TGM sets standards for payload and dynamic performance. Con-

sumption: low. Reliability: high. Environment-friendly to Euro 5 and EEV

without additives.

NEOPLAN tourist coaches: futuristic design, innovative technology

and luxurious comfort are standard in the tourist coach range from

NEOPLAN – pioneering coaches.

MAN tourist coaches and intercity buses: the captivating experience of travel-

ling by bus or coach. Powerful dynamics, impressive ambience, exclusive

comfort and uppermost safety round it off.

MAN city buses: when it comes to comfort, reliability and environmental

friendliness, these city buses take an ideal route. The perfect combination

of efficiency and sustainability in public transport.

Bus and coach chassis: a range of virtually boundless possibilities for bus

and coach bodies and vehicles of every kind. MAN chassis set standards

in comfort, dynamics and ride safety.

Engines and components

Engines: more power for less fuel is the principle that drives

MAN engines – the principle of efficiency. These low-consuming vehicle

engines are attractive in performance, running and reliability. On the

bottom line - more value, less cost.

Transfer cases: MAN transfer cases for permanent and selectable all-wheel

drive stand out for low weight, compact design and high reliability.

Axles: the selection includes planetary hub reduction axles as front and

rear axles as well as hypoid rear axles. Plus there are second steering and

trailing axles and tandem units.
