„Mountain Christmas“ Bergweihnacht in Wolkenstein, ab dem 4. Dezember 2015Das Grödner Bergdorf Wolkenstein liegt im Herzen der Dolomiten und bietet durch die Anbindung an das Skikarussell „Sellaronda“, Ski-Spaß auf über 500 Pistenkilometern. Ein Hauch von Pistenflair wird vom 4. Dezember bis 6. Januar in Form einer originellen weihnachtlichen Kabinenbahn ins Dorfzentrum von Wolkenstein gebracht. Die einmalige Atmosphäre, der Duft von Lebkuchen und Glühwein, der Glanz von Weihnachtskugeln und Christbaumschmuck sowie der Klang von Weih-nachtsweisen und Adventsliedern werden alle Herzen erfreuen und staunende Kinderaugen zum Leuchten bringen.

With its direct connection to the legendary ski tour “Sellaronda”, it offers 500km of perfectly prepared slopes for all ski lovers.This year, from the 4th of December until the 6th of January, an old fashioned cable car of minia-ture wooden cabins can be found hanging above a magical Christmas village. At this very original Christmas market you can taste sweet dried fruitcakes, yummy gingerbread biscuits, luscious artisan chocolates and other typical mountain delicacies. Moreover, while strolling through the charming village you can try a steaming hot mug of mulled wine and easily find the perfect Christmas gift.

Dal 4 dicembre al 6 gennaio lungo la via pedonale, sarà ricreato un tipico paese di alta montagna e si potrà ammi-rare un’originale funivia con dodici piccole cabine di legno. Su questo mercatino molto particolare sarà possibile gustare i tradizionali biscotti di pan pepato, la cioccolata di produzione artigianale e il vin brulé, e si potranno acquistare oggetti unici come i cuscini di trucioli di cirmolo gardenese, le pantofole in lana cotta, le tradizionali sculture in legno e tanti altri oggetti per decorare e allietare il prossimo Natale.

Benvenuti in Val Gardena, la valle degli scultori del legno!La Val Gardena gode di fama internazionale per la sua secolare tradizione della scultura in legno, tramandata di generazione in generazione. Da sempre il presepe ha ricoperto un ruolo importante nell’arte della lavorazione del legno.Noi di Gardena Art siamo felici di potervi dare il benvenuto alla nostra mostra tradizionale di presepi in legno. Proponiamo antiche e nuove versioni del presepe, simbolo di pace e speranza, che testimoniano la maestria artigianale degli sculto ri del legno della Val Gardena. La magica atmosfera del Natale rivive ogni anno con il presepe, rappresentazione della Natività e simbolo di pace e d’ incontro per la famiglia. I primi presepi, risalenti al sedicesimo secolo, sono stati ritrovati nelle chiese e nei cortili signorili italiani e spagnoli, più tardi anche nel sud della Germania. La Natività è, oggi come allora, un tema d’ispirazione per molti artisti ed assume da sempre un ruolo importante nella lavorazione artigianale del legno in Val Gardena.I nostri presepi sono preziose opere d’arte, fabbricate al 100% in Val Gardena, che possono portare l’arte della scultura in legno delle montagne della Val Gardena anche sotto il vostro albero di Natale.

Le sculture in legno della Val Gardena vengono valorizzate con una grande mostra di presepi proprio per celebrare le festività natalizie.Nel diciassettesimo secolo gli animali, le bambole e le figure sacre degli scultori della Val Gardena erano di grande prestigio. Oggi, particolarmente nel periodo natalizio, i presepi artistici in legno fanno rivivere queste antiche tradizione. L’esposizione di presepi nelle casette in legno valorizza grazie alla sua posizione centrale la vita paesana prenatalizia, conferendo al paese un’atmosfera unica.

Welcome to Val Gardena, the woodcarver‘s valley!Val Gardena is world renowned for its centuries old woodcarving tradition.The carving of Nativity scenes plays a central role in that custom.Gardena Art proudly present their Nativity exhibition where you can admire a varied display of antique and modern hand-carved Nativities, showcasing the diverse abilities of our acclaimed Master Sculptors.The Nativity scene, with its figures of Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus in the Manger, the shepherds and the Wise Men, has a long history of bringing the original Christmas story to life.In fact, the first Nativities can be traced back to the 16th century where they were found in Italian and Spanish churches and the courts of their aristocracy, and later also in Germany.Nativity scenes are still today, like then, a great inspiration for many of our artists, and are sculpted 100% in Val Gardena. A wonderful way to bring some of the art of Val Gardena wood sculpture into your home at Christmas-time.Especially in time for Christmas, the woodcarving talents of Val Gardena are celebrated in this large exhibition of handcarved Nativity scenes.In the 17th century Val Gardena was world famous for the dolls, animals and sacred figures of its local wood sculptors. Today, particularly at Christmas, it is the artistry of the wooden Nativity scenes which draws their fame. The presentation of the Nativities in wooden huts in this central position brings a special Christmas atmosphere to our village life.

Willkommen in Gröden, dem Tal der Krippenschnitzer!Das Grödental ist weltbekannt für seine jahrhundertealte Tradition der Holzschnitzkunst. Die Krippenschnitzerei nimmt dabei seit jeher eine besondere Rolle ein.Gardena Art stellt eine Vielzahl an kunstvoll gestalteten Krippen vor, die die verschiedensten Stilarten widerspiegeln und vom großen handwerklichen Können der Grödner Schnitzer zeugen. Die figürliche Darstellung der Heiligen Familie im Stall zu Bethlehem mit den Hirten und den Weisen aus dem Morgenland, die das Jesuskind anbeten, hat eine jahrhundertelange Tradition. Ab der Mitte des 16. Jahrhunderts sind Weihnachtskrippen zuerst in italienischen und spanischen, später auch in süddeutschen Kirchen und Fürstenhöfen nachzuweisen. Unsere Krippen sind wertvolle Kunstwerke, zu 100% im Grödental hergestellt, die die Holzschnitz- kunst unseres Bergtales auch unter Ihren Weihnachtsbaum bringen können.

Die gezeigten Krippen heben passend zur Weihnachtszeit die Grödner Holzschnitzkunst hervor. Im 17. Jahrhundert waren Tiere, Puppen und sakrale Figuren die Aushängeschilder der Grödner Holzschnitzer. Heute sind es, speziell zur Weihnachtszeit, die kunstvoll gestalteten Krippen. Die Krippenausstellung in den Holzhäuschen, wertet dank ihrer zentralen Lage das vorweihnachtliche Dorfleben auf und verleiht dem Ort eine einzigartige Stimmung.

Tëurta de furmenton (Torta di grano saraceno)Ingredienti per la torta- 6 uova- una tazza di zucchero - una tazza (ca.100 g) di grano saraceno- 100 g ca. di fecola di patate o amido di mais- un cucchiaino di lievito - polvere di cannella

Ingredienti per la guarnizione- marmellata di mirtilli - mezzo l di panna

Preparazione:Sbattere energicamente le uova in modo da ottenere un liquido spumoso. Mescolare assieme lo zucchero, il grano saraceno, la fecola di patate, il lievito ed una presa di cannella. Questa mistura va setacciata ed aggiunta alle uova, mescolando bene, in modo da formare una pasta omogenea. Versare la pasta in una tortiera imburrata e cuocere nel forno a 200 gradi per ca. mezz’ora. Fare raffreddare completamente la torta, poi sformarla e tagliarla in due strati. Spalmare su quello inferiore la marmellata di mirtilli, poi sovraporre l’altro strato. Infine guarnire con la panna montata e qualche frutto di bosco.

Whisk the eggs vigorously to obtain a foamy liquid. Mix together the sugar, buckwheat, potato starch, baking powder and a pinch of cinnamon. This mixture should be sieved and added to the eggs, mixing well in order to form a smooth paste. Pour the dough into a greased cake tin and bake in the oven at 200°C for about half an hour. Leave to cool, then turn the cake and cut it into two layers. Spread on the lower blueberry jam, then overlaying the other layer. Finally, garnish with whipped cream and some berries.

Die Eier werden schaumig geschlagen, dann Zucker, Buchweizenmehl, Speisestärke, Backpulver und eine Prise Zimt in die Eier sieben und gut verrühren. Der Teig wird in eine ausgefettete Springform gefüllt und im Ofen bei 200° etwa eine halbe Stunde gebacken. Den Tortenboden gut auskühlen lassen, durchschneiden und den unteren Teil mit der Konfitüre bestrei-chen, dann den oberen Teil darüberlegen. Schließlich wird die Torte mit Schlagsahne und einigen Waldbeeren garniert.
