The teachers across Sunbeam branches wait for the opportunity during Summer vacations to attend the annual three day training to enhance their teaching skills and to improve their grasping power in their subjects to become effective teachers in life. During three day training , Mr Jehan Manikshaw , an important theatre professional was also in Sunbeam campus to impart lecture on “ Drama in learning “. TEACHERS TRAINING IN JUNE 2019 Sunbeam Schools in Varanasi have always maintained high level of academic excellence year after year. It is best exemplified by excellent board results and a strong alumni base which are well placed in professional life. It was indeed a great honor when Sunbeam School Bhagwanpur was awarded A great place to study. The much coveted prestigious award was received by Mr Deepak Madhok , Chairman, Sunbeam Group of Educational Institutions and Mrs Bharti Madhok, Director at House of Commons in London . London Baroness Verma gave away the award in the House of Commons, London. A two day workshop on the 'art of storytelling' was conducted for the teachers of Sunbeam Schools by Ms Shreya Biswas, a performance storyteller, story educator and founder of Kathagam. In her workshop she stressed upon the use of proper accent, voice modulation, and clarity of thought and appropriate usage of pause to be used during a storytelling session. Ms Biswas also discussed with the teachers on how to weave a story and make it interesting with the clues.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAYThe International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 st June. The event has become an international event now and the fifth International Yoga day saw the participation of people across all ages in propagation of doing asana for better health. The International Yoga Day which was initiated, pioneered, emphasized and advocated by Honorable Prime Minister of India, Mr Narendra Modi was observed across Sunbeam Schools. All the faculty members participated in this grand event. The day was dedicated towards well-being and healthy spirited body and mind.
ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP OF NCCA ten day Annual Training Camp of NCC was organized at Sunbeam School, Varuna premises. It was organized by 97 UP BN, NCC, Varanasi. The camp began on 1 st June. A total of 450 NCC boy and girl cadets from 15 schools participated in the 10 day training camp
