Our strengths are systems which are perfectly tuned toyour requirements, minimizing unwanted light emissionsand keeping energy costs as low as possible.

Photometric calculations are carried out and highlighted bythe respective lighting manufacturers suitably qualified forthe job in hand. These are invaluable in determining thelocation, number and height of floodlight masts, taking intoaccount logistical and photometrical aspects.

Our masts can be equipped with the latest plane projectorsfor the surface area and high performance lamps for stadi umuse; furthermore, mirror reflector systems are available forlogistics areas and LED technology for background lightingand traffic signs.

Positioning the light sources in the ideal locations for work,logistics and sports areas means that light emissions canbe reduced and the illuminated areas are made safe, withunrestricted usage and easy access. The fulfilment of workobjectives is thus supported, whilst performance andproductivity are enhanced.

We manufacture our products according to your individualrequirements and CI, in tune with the overall architectural

planning for your project. Technical development andmanufacture of the various systems takes place in ourown steel construction works in Hennef near Cologne, inconjunction with architects, lighting designers and lampmanufacturers. The products are then assembled, installedand serviced on site.

For the illumination of wider areas with specific requirementsconcerning the overall design, where glare reduction andlow mounting heights, as well as uniform lighting, areimportant considerations, we recommend mirror reflectorsystems.

Mirror reflector technology consists of reflector panels andspotlights.

The spots concentrate the light and direct it with calculatedprecision onto a mirror field of high-quality reflector panels,which in turn yield perfectly aligned, uniform lightingdistribution onto the area or playing surface.

Thanks to the diffraction of light, glare is significantlyreduced in contrast to direct lighting. Furthermore, theexact calibration of narrow beam spotlights and thereflector panel field means that undesired light emissionscan be minimized.

SSG mirror reflector systems provide especially evensurface lighting with a wide radius of up to four or five timesthe height of the mast. For example: a 14 m mast = lighting

radius of approx. 60 m

Direct Lighting guides the light via precisely calculatedmirror and lens optics into the desired symmetrical orasymmetrical channels directly onto the surface area. It isdesigned to keep glare and unwanted light emission to aminimum.

Due to the angle required to minimize glare, higher mastscan, in certain cases, be less advantageous than mirrorreflectors or LED systems (e.g. if height restrictions apply).

The most advanced HCI/CRI or NAV lamps provide the lightsource, guaranteeing excellent light yield with low energyoutput.

This system makes it possible to light one half of an area orfield, or to lower the degree of illuminance, although thiscan diminish the even quality of light distribution across thefield.

Investment costs, on the other hand, are low compared toLED and mirror reflector systems. Energy costs, however,are considerably higher than those generated by LEDtechnology.

LED technology utilizes the latest in high performanceLEDs as a light source, achieving an ideal light yield with anextremely low energy output. Glare and light emissions areagain minimal compared to direct lighting.

Due to their clear-cut design, both systems can be perfectlyintegrated into the architectural environment and areparticularly long-lasting.

Masts with a pivotable joint in the lower or middle portionof the mast, elevatable and lowerable either hydraulicallyor mechanically, not only make maintenance easier, but alsoblend the masts, in their lowered state, more readily into

the environment.

The mast is activated by hydraulic cylinders or pump/powerunits. Smaller masts can be operated manually by means ofa track jack.

Alternatively, we can also provide lowerable lightinghousings which can be winched up to the top of the mast,or lowered to facilitate maintenance checks on the systemor lamps.
