HONORABLE TAZ
The following swimmers were caught being honorable this past week! Thank you to all of our swimmers who
checked in at Ready Bench as alternates and waited patiently to learn if they would swim or not, including:
Matthew Burns, Sierra Kropf and Enrique Soto
Hayden Walsh andCasey Vanderwallshowed up to ready bench on time for the 9-10 Boys Free Relay and
were placed as alternate. Both walked with their relays to the blocks and were ready to swim when the other
swimmers showed up. They didn't complain, just gave back the spots. Then they cheered on the rest of the
team!
Samantha Scrubaattended practice almost every day this season on top of her daily gym workouts. Even
though she had to leave morning practices early, she often came back to afternoon to finish her workout. Her
hard work and dedication has paid off!
Jack Oakleyis the happiest swimmer on the block. Every time I watch a 9-10 boys race he is always so happy
and smiling. He even cheers on swimmers before him!
Kacey Rossvolunteering to swim with JR. TAZ swimmer! Thank you!
Zack Garciafor working so hard this week. Great job working in practice and it paid off at the meet!
At the LBD swim meet Ava Edwardswas in the free relay when her goggles fell off on the dive. She swam her
whole leg like nothing happened.
We would like to nominate Kelly Simkinfor seeing a teammate who was upset about her swims and helped
her understand you might not get a PR every time you swim. She is a really sweet girl!
Way to go TAZ! Keep up the great attitudes and positive sportsmanship. When you see swimmers doing
amazing things please let us know. Recipients please see a coach to claim your prize during practice this week!
Congratulations for being caught in the act of being honorable!

COUNTDOWN TO CHAMPS / PERSONAL GOALS
Well we have done it! Completed an amazing dual season undefeated! We could not have done it without each
and every swimmer giving 110% during practice and at meets. Well done swimmers!
This week each age group goal was to drop time! Age groups celebrated with licorice and otter pops after
Monday's practice. Our sights are now set on champs! We are going to churn and burn!
We have had many swimmers asking for the BEADS! We will have them available at practice this week as well
as at the champs rally Thursday night. Please see a coach to collect your beads. Swimmers receive a bead for
each time they set a new personal record. Gold beads are for swimmers who qualify for Meet of Champions.
