The Nazarene International Language Institute

We are excited to let you know that on March 1st we will be leaving for Quito, Ecuador to attend lan-guage school for six months at The Nazarene International Language Institute. We made this decisionafter much prayer and due to a sense of urgency and need (see letter below).

We want to thank all of you who are supporting us and urge you to please continue to pray for us. Weneed pledges of $1,500/mo before we begin our work at Casa de Fe or, after language school, we willhave to return to the U.S. and continue fundraising. Yes, this is faith in action! Please pray about donat-ing monthly or with a one-time gift (see pg2 for info).

Below is a letter from Tandy Martin (who wears so many hats at Casa de Fe it would not do justice to just call her the operations manager) which sums up a conversation we had about Casa de Fes most pressing and critical need.

At Casa de Fe, we are often asked, "What is your biggest, most urgent need?" For a couple of years, our answer has been, "First,

pastoral care and second, consistent medical care. Needless to say, we were really excited when the Becks wrote about filling BOTH of these needs for us! We really need a long term staff member who is wholly dedicated to the spiritual lives of our chil-dren, paid staff and missionary staff and we are so thankful God has put it on Kyle's heart to fill that role. We also have a hugeneed for a medical staff member to keep up with the continual,daily care of 60+ children, many of whom have special needs and ongoing medical issues...Both of these positions require Span-

ish...it is incredibly important to be able to communicate on aheart level in someone's first language. Although we would love tohave Kyle and April here tomorrow, we know that the time spent in language school is necessary and beneficial.

We know that God is our ultimate Provider...It is our prayer that God will provide the means for the Beck family...and we ask that

you would pray about how you might be involved. Those of usawaiting their arrival here will continue to pray and thank God

for what has been provided already!
