VorausscheidungDie Entscheidung der Vorjury über die Zulassung zum Wettbewerb wird nach erfolgter Auswahl spätestens bis zum 15. Juni 2015 schriftlich mit-geteilt. Die Entscheidungen sind unanfechtbar. Erklärungen dazu wer-den nicht gegeben. Anschließend erhalten alle zugelassenen Kandidaten eine Kopie des Auftragswerks.

Teilnahmegebühr85 Euro, nach Erhalt der Zulassungsbestätigung spesenfrei zu überwei-sen. In besonderen finanziellen Härtefällen kann die Anmeldegebühr re-duziert werden, ein Anspruch darauf besteht nicht. Ein formloser Antrag mit Begründung ist den Anmeldeunterlagen beizufügen. Eine Rücker-stattung der Teilnahmegebühr bei Verhinderung oder Absage des gemel-deten Kandidaten erfolgt nicht.

Preliminary selectionThe results of the preliminary selection will be announced no earlier than 15 June 2015. The committee’s decision is final. Explanation will not be given. The committee will not be required to explain its decision. Successful candidates will then be sent a copy of the commissioned piece.

Registration feeThe registration fee of 85 euros is due immediately upon receipt of the acceptance letter and should be remitted free of bank charges to the or-ganizer. The registration may be reduced in cases of financial hardship, but there is not automatic entitlement to such a reduction.

Pré-séléctionLes résultats de la pré-sélection des candidats admis à participer au concours seront communiqués par écrit au plus tard le 15 juin 2015. Le choix du jury est sans appel. Aucune explication ne sera donnée. Tous les candidats admis recevront une copie de l’œuvre de commande.

Frais d‘inscriptionLes frais d’inscription de 85 euros doivent être réglés par virement, sans frais pour l’organisateur, dès réception de la lettre d’admission. Les frais d’inscription peuvent être réduits en cas de grande difficulté financière. Cependant aucune réclamation n’est possible pour obtenir une réduction des frais. Une simple demande écrite expliquant les raisons doit être doit être jointe au dossier d’inscription. Aucun remboursement des frais d’ins-

Applicants wishing to apply for such a reduction should submit an infor-mal request together with their application.In the case of cancellations or inability to attend the competition the registration fee will not be reimbursed.

AccommodationThe competition organizers will recommend budget accommodation within the host city. The accommodation for the finalists in the last round (12-15 October 2015) will be provided by the competition organizers.

Ab der zweiten Runde gibt es eine gemeinsame Jury für beide Wettbe-werbsfächer. Über die Reihenfolge der Teilnehmer im Finale entschei-det die Wettbewerbsleitung. Mit Ausnahme des Auftragswerks des Max-Rostal-Wettbewerbs, der Sonaten mit Klavier und der zeitgenössischen Werke sind alle Werke auswendig zu spielen. In der Endrunde ist das Auswendigspiel Pflicht. Alle Wettbewerbsdurchgänge sind öffentlich. Die Jury behält sich während des Wettbewerbsdurchgangs eine Anpassung des Programms vor.

The competitionRegistration will take place on 7 October 2015 (from 1 to 7 p.m.). All competitors must register in person or send an authorized represent-ative.

From the second round on there will be one jury for both instrumental groups. The order of the candidates in the final round will be decided by the competition. With the exception of the new work commissioned for the Max Rostal Competition, the sonatas with piano accompaniment and the contemporary pieces, candidates will be required to play their programs by heart. This is also a requirement for the final round. All rounds of the competition are open to the public. The jury reserves the right to modify the program in the course of the competition.

FinalistenkonzerteIm Konzerthaus Berlin mit dem Konzerthausorchester Berlin unter der Leitung von Pavel Baleff.

ProbenDen Wettbewerbsteilnehmern stehen anerkannte Pianisten als Kammer-musikpartner für eine 80-minütige Klavierprobe zum zweiten Durch-gang zur Verfügung. Eigene Begleiter können auf eigene Kosten mitge-bracht werden. Für das Finalistenkonzert stehen jedem Teilnehmer eine einstündige Orchesterprobe und die Generalprobe zur Verfügung.

Final ConcertsAt the Konzerthaus Berlin with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin under the direction of Pavel Baleff.

RehearsalsFor the second round accompanists will be provided for a maximum of 80 minutes rehearsal time. Additional rehearsals will be at the par-ticipants’ own expense. Participants may also bring their own accom-panists. In the final round every participant will have the opportunity to rehearse for one hour with the orchestra in addition to the dress rehearsal.

Déroulement du concoursL’inscription et le tirage au sort pour l’ordre de passage des premier et second tours auront lieu le mercredi 7 octobre 2015, de 13h00 à 19h00. Tous les candidats doivent se présenter en personne pour l’ins-cription ou être dûment représentés par une personne autorisée.

A partir du deuxième tour, les jurys sont réunis pour les épreuves d’alto et de violon. La direction du concours détermine l’ordre des candidats en finale. Il est demandé à tous les candidats de jouer sans partition, à l’exception de la nouvelle composition pour le concours Max Rostal, les sonates avec piano et les pièces contemporaines. La finale doit être jouée obligatoirement de jouer sans partition. Tous les tours de la com-pétition sont ouverts au public.Le jury se réserve le droit de modifier le programme pendant le déroule-ment du concours.

RépétitionsPour le deuxième tour, une répétition de 80 minutes avec des pianistes accompagnateurs officiels sont proposés aux participants. Ceux qui le souhaitent peuvent venir avec leur pianiste à leurs propres frais. Pour la finale, chaque participant a l’occasion de répéter une heure avec l’orche stre en plus de la répétition générale.

By registering for the competition the candidate agrees to the rules and conditions of the competition, specifically the stipulation that the deci-sions of the preselection committee and the jury in all rounds are final. Das gilt ebenso für Tonträger-, Film-, und Videoaufnahmen sowie alle weiteren elektronischen und mechanischen Aufzeichnungsverfah-ren. Dem Teilnehmer bzw. der Teilnehmerin entsteht hieraus kein Ver-gütungsanspruch. Der Veranstalter behält sich insbesondere das Recht vor, Rundfunk- und Fernsehanstalten die Übertragung, die Aufzeichnung und Sendung aller Wettbewerbsveranstaltungen zu genehmigen.

Media and rightsParticipants accept the competition organizers’ right to allow competi-tion performances to be recorded and broadcast in whole or in part. This applies to sound, film and video recordings as well as all other electronic or mechanical recording methods. Such recordings shall not result in a right to claim remuneration. In particular the organizers reserve the right to permit radio and television companies to transmit, record and broadcast all competition events.

SchlussbemerkungenAlle Preisträger sind zur Preisverleihung anwesend und verpflichten sich, ihren Preis persönlich entgegenzunehmen. In Zweifelsfällen gilt die deutsche Fassung der Teilnahmebedingungen. Mit der Unterschrift auf dem Anmeldeformular erkennen die Kandidaten die Teilnahmebedin-gungen an.

RemarksAll prize-winners should attend the prize-giving ceremony to receive their prizes in person. They are also expected to perform in the final concerts and if necessary to cooperate with radio and television jour-nalists covering the competition, in both without remuneration. Winners are expected to participate in the final concerts and agree to cooperate with radio and TV coverage in connection with this competition. In case of doubt or contention the German text version of these conditions shall prevail. In signing the registration form participants accept the condi-tions of the competition.

ConclusionTous les lauréats doivent être présents à la cérémonie de remise des prix et s’engagent à recevoir personnellement leur prix. Ceci implique qu’ils acceptent de participer gratuitement sur invitation au concert final et, le cas échéant, aux émissions de radio et et de télévision réalisées dans le cadre du concours.
