1. INTRODUCTION OF THE RALLY

1.1 Welcome to the Rally WaldviertelThe organizing committee welcomes you very much and is happy about your interest in the Waldviertel Rally. The engagement of Sportland Niederösterreich guarants a big improvement which results in a 65% gravel rally, a highlight amongst the European rallies.This year the Rally hosts also the 8th and last round of the Austrian Rally Championship.The Rally HQ is in the surroundings of Krems, located in the Castle of GRAFENEGG and has found an excellent HQ “AUDITORIUM GRAFENEGG” directly in the Service zone, which offers a perfect infrastructure for organisation, media and competitors. All necessary facilities are situated in the Service zone, Rally HQ, media center, documentation, scru-tineering, regrouping.The organizers and the marshalls of the event guarant the competi-tors, media members and fans to be at best service for all to enjoy a successful weekend in the Waldviertel. Especially the safety on the special stages has been improved.

4. SERVICE PARK 4.1 Location There will be only one Service Park during the rally, located in GRAFENEGG „parking area“. Each team/competitor will be allocated a designated space according to supple-mentary regulations. After the close of entries, each competitors location will be drawn in the service park layout, and will be published on the official web site. 4.2 Service & auxiliary vehicles Only service vehicles (identified with Service plates issued by the organiser) are allowed to enter and exit the main Service Park. Service cars are only allowed to set-up at times according to Art. 4.4. For access to the Auxiliary parking area the vehicles must carry an Auxiliary plate. Additio-nal Auxiliary plates may be ordered by contacting secreteriat. 4.3 Restrictions on the ground It is forbidden under any circumstances to drill holes in the tarmac or the concrete ground at the Service Park. Teams and competitors are asked to bring weights for tents and others that need to be fastened. On Friday 6th Nov., Service Park Coordinator will inspect the Service Park area to check if there is any damage on the ground. In case of a dama-ge caused by the competitors, relevant cost will be charged. 4.4 Access times for set-up The service park will be available on Thúrsday, 5.11.2015 at 15:00 hrs, only for the access of the service vehicles. If requested, private security will be provided upon request and payment. Please also note that, service park facilities such as electricity, internet connec-tion etc will be provided and management personnel and the officials, who are in charge of Service Park, will be on duty from Thursday, 5.11.2015 10:00 hrs onwards. Any competitor re-starting the rally must present their cars in this parc fermé at the latest one hour before the start of the next day. For Priority cars, a scrutineer will accompany a mechanic or a member of the crew when transporting the car from the Ser-vice Park to the special overnight Parc Fermé in the evening. 4.6 Facilities The following services will be arranged by the Organiser at Service Park (free of charge) from 5 Nov. - 7 Nov. 2015: Waste collection Public toilets (Auditorim & Wolkenturm)

FUEL See also the Article 58 of the 2015 FIA RRSR Sporting Regulations and its V1-FIA ERC/C. Competitors are entirely responsible for providing and distributing their own fuel during the event. Refueling zones are noted in the itinerary of the event. There will be one remote refuelling zone only on 1st day (for team members, road books from Service Park to the remote refuelling zones and return are enclosed in Appendices). 7. IMPORT OF VEHICLES AND SPARE PARTSVehicles and spare parts of the European Union do not require any customs specific documents to pass the frontier. Vehicles and spare parts outside the European Union must show an ATA carnet, which must normally be applied for at the Chamber of Commerce in the country of origin.

8. HELICOPTERS Any helicopter service in the rally area has to be coordinated with the organiser and will be subject of approval by the upper Austrian government. Any request for approval has to be done via the organisers helicopter organisation. Scrutineering will be carried out according the individual time Schedule via scrutineering timecard, which will be informed by a bulletin. The final scrutineering will be held on the same place. Please see article 11 of the supplementary regulations. Layout of scrutinee-ring could be found in Appendices.

12. START PROCEDURE Please find the layout of start ceremony in the Appendices of Rally Guide II. 12.1 Pre-Start Holding Park Before the Start, a pre-start holding park will be organised, where the cars must be pre-sent latest at 14:30 hrs. 12.2 Start Details Starting from 15:00 hrs onwards, the crews will take start according to Start List. When the start time of the crew comes, the announcer will call the crew, then crew will drive onto the start ramp with where they will be presented to the crowd and media members. 13. FINISH PROCEDURE Please find the layout of finish ceremony in the Appendices Rally Guide II Finish of the rally will be at TC 11D in GRAFENEGG SERVICE AREA. From there on, competitors have to follow officials’ instructions to drive over the finish ramp and into final parc fermé. After finish ceremonies, competing cars will head to parc ferme. From the finish holding area, competitors will approach the ramp, under the instructions of Master of Ceremonies, who is responsible to conduct the complete procedure, in following order:

Third Overall, Second Overall, Winner and then according to their due time on TC11D. Official finish of the rally will be TC11E, after the finish podium, where the time cards of competitors will be taken on TC Parc Ferme in.

Third Overall. Car is driven onto the ramp. Stops on the center of ramp. Stops the engi-ne. Crew get out of the car, receives their wreaths and stands either side of the car with doors open. Wave for photographers (1 min). Drive off ramp to in front of the podium and leave the car to the mechanics at the right hand side. Crew waits and a mechanic drive the car into the ‚parc ferme Second Overall. Exactly the same procedure as Third Overall Winner. Exactly the same procedure as Third Overall except the invitation of the winning crews to the podium. Drivers announced ascend to their places in order third, second, winner. National anthems of winning driver and winning manufacturer are played.

Then presenters move forward with the trophies for each crew member and present their trophies, shake their hands and move back out of photographers‘ view. After the trophies, all three crews receive their pre-opened bottles of champagne and spray champagne for photographers All other crews cross the ramp in the order, determined according to their arrival time in TC11D and then drive to the ‚parc ferme‘. 14. 14.3 Press Conferences A pre-rally press conference will be organised at the VAZ St. Pölten Hall C, on Friday, 06.11.2015 at 14:15. The invitations for the press conference will be distributed at the administrative checks and the attendence is obligatory. The duration of these conference will be max. 15 minutes. 14.4 Important Notes For Media To ensure your safety, all media members are to follow the instructions given by marshalls and officials. All marshals and officials will be in tabards and easily identifiable throughout the rally. Special stages will be closed at least 60 minutes before the first competitor is scheduled to start the stage. Should you wish to enter a Special Stage, please ensure your vehicle is parked well away from the road. Please do not stand anywhere on the stage that might cause danger to yourself, or the competitors or the concentration of the competitors. Please ensure that your media pass and numbered media tabard is clearly visible during the rally, including entrance to the Media Center. 14.5 Restricted Areas PRESS CREDENTIAL HOLDERS WILL NOT BE GIVEN ACCESS TO ANY ACTUAL SCRUTINEERING AREA, OR TO ANY PARC FERME. An interview area, adjacent to the scrutineering area, regrouping area and Start area will be provided and clearly indicated, in order to allow journalists and photographers to carry out their duties.
