I Hike‘n‘Ride Hüttersteig Mountain Path Walking time approx. 3:15 hours

Starting from the Kanzelbahn valley station over the southern side of the Hüttersteig to the so called Kanzelhöhe and from there to the Kanzelbahn mountain station. We recommended to take the Kanzelbahn cable car back down to the valley.

II Kostale Path Hike Walking time approx. 4 hours

From the Kanzelbahn mountain station via the Pöllinger Hut to the water adventure world by the Neugarten Almsee Hut and to the Summit House. In each hut there is a home cooked “Kostale” - a culinary sample of the Carinthian cuisine. From the first course to dessert. To get back to the valley station, take the chairlift and the Kanzelbahn cable car.

III Seppl Hut Trail Walking time approx. 3:20 hours

Medium distance circular hiking trail from the Kanzelbahn moun-tain station to the Seppl Hut and back again. From the moun-tain station the path leads eastwards towards the Seppl Hut.

IV Traumbogen - Peak Hike Walking time approx. 2:15 hours

The Traumbogen Peak Hike around the peak of the Gerlitzen Alpe is a hiking trail for body and soul. Part of the trail leads through the so-called “Berg-Reich”, or “Mountain Kingdom”. The circular trail leads past the photo spot and the tower which also serves as a starting point for paragliders.

V Kanzelrundweg Circular Route Walking time approx. 1 hour

Starting at the Kanzelbahn mountain station, this hiking trail leads to the Kanzelhöhe along the asphalt road or if you prefer, also along the forest and meadow path. From there, a gravel path leads to the highest point. The trail continues along a paved road past the reservoir and back to the starting point.

VI Gerlitzen Peak to the Kanzelbahn / Funpark Walking time approx. 1:30 hours

From the Gerlitzen summit you pass the starting points of the paragliders and model airplanes and continue along meadows and easily manageable hiking trails to the Pöllinger Hut. Then continue downhill in the direction of Sunn Alm at the Kanzelbahn mountain station (1,440 m). This hike is especially suitable for families with children and for beginners.

VII 4 Huts Hiking Trail Walking time approx. 3:00 hours

From the Gerlitzen Gipfelbahn mountain station (1,911 m) the route leads along an easily accessible hiking trail to Stifterboden. There you are free to choose: You can either take the somewhat longer route to the Steinwender Hut or take the shortcut to the Kammer Hut. Continue along the trail via the Turner Hut back to the Sunn Alm / Kanzelbahn mountain station (1,440 m). A family-friendly hike along easily treadable forest paths with numerous opportunities to stop for a bite to eat and to rest.
